All in the title. The folks who have posted negative reviews are spam from members of conservative organizations like Alliance Defending Freedom, American Research Council, etc. It's their main job to disenfranchise organized efforts to uplift all to equality while victimizing themselves under the guise of false-Christianity. Christian Nationalists are not Christian.
I find myself quite disappointed with this group. Alongside my concerns about the customer service at moveone.org, I have significant reservations about this organization. As a supporter of our country and its people, I feel that this party has demonstrated a willingness to alter their tactics and messaging merely to secure votes. Therefore, I have decided to step away from this association.

Move on. Org is not a progressive organization, they have not spoken up about the genocide in Gaza. They are brainless Democrats who support genocide Joe Biden. If you're a true progressive don't give these morons a penny of your money.
Tip for consumers:
They suck

I've seen negative reviews about poor phone customer support at Moveon.org, by my experience yesterday was great. I was calling to reduce my recurring monthly contribution. A live person came on-line right away, took my info, and carried out the change. She did not try to ask for more money. This was followed up by a confirming email.

Moveon has been charging $15/month to my credit card for the past seven months. I never authorized that. My only contact with Moveon was some time ago when I made a contribution. Thus far, I've had no luck with their labyrinthine bureaucracy in getting them to stop those payment-much less in getting repaid their ill-gotten gains. Odd, too, because I'm a fan of Bob Reich's. But not for getting ripped off.
I signed one petition about providing Vax to other countries and now see their true mission and asked to be unsubscribed.
Instead, they keep signing petitions with my name and never honor my many unsubscribe requests

Tip for consumers:
Don't
Republicans are not banning books about history. The fact that this is all bs just to divide further shows how ignorant people are. I was all for supporting this cause until I realized it was based and on lies. Do better people
I signed a petition a while ago. I've been getting repeated texts from "volunteers" about voting and getting people to vote out a particular person. Their website says they are non patrician, but this is untrue. I have repeatedly asked to not be contacted as I'm on the DNC list. Don't EVER sign a petition originated from their site.
I originally signed a petition for an environmental matter. Something nonpartisan. Their website claims that MoveOn is nonpartisan. As an Independent, I was cool with that. And then the texts came. One after another, after another- all wanting me to go vote for pro-Democrat policies, and politicians. Painting Republicans and conservatives as villains that threaten the world. Zilch on measures or petitions from those of both parties wanting to work together or anything not Democratic. Constantly wanting donations. Still texts me when I have repeatedly asked them not to.
Tip for consumers:
Even if you don't donate money, simply signing one of their "petitions" puts you on a contact list. They are NOT NONPARTISAN like they claim to be. They're the OPPOSITE!
You jerks somehow got my number and blow it up wanting my vote and tell me how it is now or never to change the world by doing so. Like all other politicians, I hear and see nothing between election times. If you wanted to change the world, do something between election years.
Several people I know who said they signed my petition don't show, including a couple who did it while in my office. Also they have a graph that shows the number of visits/signors for the last two weeks (visible to the one who initiated the petition) and mine shows 30 signors, but only 11 show up on the list. Also people who left comments don't show up on the list. Emails to customer service either are never answered or answered weeks later. Find another place to host your petition, these guys don't have it together.
They claim to fight for democracy, but push their own selfish agenda on majority of American people. That's not democracy, it's hate. Quite lucrative business, though. Check where your donations are going:

I receive robocalls at least daily from this organization. Although I believe in some (but definitely not all) of the ideologies they espouse, because they are so predatory in their marketing campaign, not only will I not support them, I will actively work to defeat every issue the are pushing. I wish they would leave me the Hell alone!
I received an email from this organization claiming that Conservatives are white supremacists, terrorists, and advocates of murder. As a Texan, its completely disgusting. As an American citizen, its beyond disturbing. This organization is larger than most governmental and business entities. For them to send out a mass mail out to God knows who. Is irresponsible and wreckless. I will reach out and forward this to any pertinent legal body, and governmental representative that I can. If this is their national prerogative, then this organization is one of the most corrupt and evil entities in the country.
Tip for consumers:
Call your State Legislators, Governor, and any legal organization relevant to your security and freedom.
I have received too many texts from your organization *******125 and *******008) asking for donation, and text it back to STOP to ******* to stop receiving messages, but still getting them.
I have filed a complaint at Oregon Attorney General to stop sending me the text. Hopefully they will STOP.
Since July, I have been receiving text messages from these people about voting in elections in Nebraska. I have sent numerous emails to them, have received promises that they will remove my cell number & my name--it never happens.
Have asked them for the source of their info about me & was told staffers are using an app to do their texting, so they don't have a way to remove my cell number. That is BULL!
Then was told to just type STOP on the text message--doesn't work to stop them. I am now going to print off all my emails & send them to the FTC for a complaint. There is a federal law about political robo texting & these people are violating that law.
Political groups buy cell numbers from various carriers & use that info to find you. There is no published phone or address in Nebraska for these people. Luckily, I wasn't stupid enough to give them money.
STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE.
Pat McCrory is the co-chair of a right-wing, billionaire-backed organization called "No Labels." He claimed on "Meet the Press" that "the same people" who fund No Labels also fund MoveOn. This is a bald faced lie. I'm sure some of you enjoy listening to liars, but I really hate them. Especially billionaires who lie. They also cheat and steal, yet many believe it's fine for some people to treat others like economic units. I don't believe this is the way to happiness for the human species. The MoveOn organization does not either. They are a grassroots movement which began in 1998.
Their accomplishments have been instrumental in helping the people by focusing their efforts and resources on education, advocacy for vulnerable people and communities. This is why billionaires are attempting to attack them. If you actually think this country is on the wrong track, blame those who have been pulling the strings and start insisting your congressman or woman as well as all your other representatives to stop taking money from all corporate donors. If you do not understand what our problems are originating from, then please refer to history. It is the same pattern throughout. A real shame humans cannot focus their energy on removing the real source of their pain. If you want your pain to end, look to organizations such as this one. They have been advocating for you whether you believe it or not.
Tip for consumers:
Donate to grassroots organizations and stop feeding billionaires if you want our society to be a happier one. I’d like to be happy. Don’t you? Who are the people taking the lions share in this world? They are the ones profiting from chaos and sow it everywhere. Billionaires make the world a bad place to be. They are the polluter elites. They take far more than they ever give to the rest of us and also prevent humans from their full potential by condemning us to their mediocrity. End them.
This POS company posted an AD on my social media with a video of some woman telling a bunch of lies and telling people to vote Trump out of office. First off, do NOT tell me who to vote for or not to vote for and second, keep your political BS off my social media.
They profile themselves as inclusive, but consistently attack any non-Democrats.
Their tactics and message are completely associated with extreme leftists.
Tip for consumers:
Use political campaigns that honestly say who they are
They spy on kids and homes to further their unsolicited propaganda. They do not stop even when requested.
Consider: "Witch hunt? No Way! Rather, a long overdue, Spoiled Brat spanking "! Right Now needs humor.
Propaganda rag. It was anti-war... until Obama became president. Gotta love consistency like that.
