I jumped right into my first mock interview after 8 years and was shocked how much the process has changed. This alone made the site worth it. I'll be spending the rest of my prep time going through additional interviews.

I am just getting back into the workforce after being away taking care of my children. I was very nervous about being able to handle interviews because I am so rusty. I was looking for a position as an executive assistant, and after going through everything MyInterviewPractice has to offer, I am now well-prepared to start interviewing. I was pleasantly surprised with all the different things I was able to do on the website to get ready. I wish this had been around when I first got started after graduating from college – I would have been much more confident about my interviews back then!
I hate interviews. I am always worried about what the interviewer might ask and if I won't be able to think fast enough to answer the questions right. But these practice interview questions on this website are awesome! They have some unusual questions that made me think about my answers, but I didn't have to get stressed because I was just practicing. Even though I am only going to interview for an entry-level position in my field, I also did some practice interviews for management positions in my profession. Now I have a good idea of things I need to be learning in order to get promoted. Pretty neat tool and definitely worth every penny.
My daughter is getting ready to graduate from trade school, and I came across your website when I was looking for something to help her get ready for interviews. She was so nervous before she started working with you. Now she feels much better (still anxious but I can see the difference). Thank you!
I was able to get my first full time job by using this site. It came recommended by a friend so I decided to give it a try. By taking the first free interview I knew it would be something that I could use. I'm really shy and I don't like preparing with others. The sim environment allowed me to practice with varied questions. The questions were specific to the job I was interviewing for and really thought provoking. Kudos to the team that put this together.
I am fixing to change career fields, and I thought I better look into the way interviews are conducted in my new field. Boy, am I glad I did! I took a practice interview and it was completely different than anything I ever did for my old job. I've got some work to do to be ready, but am happy with this software.
I really like that I was able to share my practice interviews with my professor. She noticed some of my quirky body language that might be off-putting in an interview, but other than that, she said I nailed it and am ready to go for the real thing now.
After looking at the questions for tax accountants, I found my weak spots that I need to learn. I am going to do more research on my own and then I'll be ready to truly practice for taking real interviews. I'm excited!
As a parent of young adults who are entering the workforce, I am very excited your interview simulator covers all sorts of job titles. My high school senior is benefiting from your entry-level position interviews while my college grad is using it for her nurse practitioner interviews.
Since I've been a teacher assistant at the same school for quite a few years, I've not needed to interview with people who did not know me and what I had to offer. However, now that I have my teacher degree and am moving to another city, I will be interviewing with large schools in order to get the teaching position I am dreaming of. I know there will be a lot of behavioral "what would you do" questions, and I was nervous about how to handle those questions until I learned about your S. T. A. R. technique. Now that I understand how to answer questions using that technique, I know I can give intelligent and knowledgeable answers for anything they might ask me, and that has really helped me feel prepared and not so nervous.
I loved this tool! I was nervous about taking my first interview and was looking for a way to practice. The simulator was really simple to use and was pretty realistic. The questions I was asked helped me work out what I could expect in the real thing. And the results became concrete as I did well on my interview and just got my first full time job! I would definitely recommend this tool to anybody that is looking to improve their interviewing skills.
I was skeptical about the value that this site could offer but after trying a free interview, I thought I would give the paid version a go. I bought a month of access and took some practice interviews for an IT PM. The questions kept me on my toes. It was very helpful to see the recordings of myself afterwards on some of the harder questions. Didnt get around to sharing any videos yet but will try soon.
I'm in HR, and I have been very impressed with a candidate I recently interviewed. I found out about your company when I asked what they did to get ready for the interview with me. I will definitely be recommending your services in the future.
My last interviewer said my experience was great for the position, but I lacked the skills to get through an interview. He was pretty blunt but kind. I like how this site is so easy to use. I am hoping if I do enough practice interviews I will be able to get the next job after the interview.
I didn't have anything like this to practice interviews with when I got my first job years ago. It would have been nice then, but I am really grateful for it now since I've not been on an interview since then.
I might have gotten a little different benefit than what you intended, but I believe it was well worth the investment! I had an idea of the position that I wanted to pursue but after a few weeks of taking mock interviews I decided to pivot.
I took a course in college for interview prep, so I flipped through this website, thinking I knew what you had to offer and that I was more than prepared. Then I ran across your section on ASKING questions. Well…nope, guess I'm not as ready as I thought I was. I didn't even think about the need for me to ask my interview questions, but I can see where that might really set me apart from others interviewing for the same position. I am going to work through that section of your website first and get comfortable asking questions during an interview – then I will go through the rest of your tools and see what else I'm missing in my interview preparations!
I wish I had found this website before my interview. I failed the interview and was not hired, even though I am highly educated in the field. Well, now it's time to get ready for the next interview, and thanks to your tools, I will be more than ready this time!
I know it's strange, but I think my fav part of the tool they offer is the research worksheet. I have looked at job openings in several tech companies I'm interested in, but I'm confused on which company is which in what they have to offer and the benefits and area, etc. Now that I have the research worksheets, I am going to methodically look through the tech companies that interest me and then compare the worksheets to find out which ones I am most interested in interviewing for. Great tool!
Before I lost my last job, my supervisor told me I need to be honest about what I can and can't do and what I need to work on. This is definitely not something I'm good at. I always want to hide my weaknesses and exaggerate my strengths. A friend suggested I look at MyInterviewPractice before I go on another interview. The strengths and weaknesses worksheet helped me a lot. I think I am beginning to understand what I've been lacking. I'm looking forward to working through the worksheets and developing myself to be a better interviewee.
The information you provide on your website should be a class in high school or college! It is definitely a life skill that is urgently needed and would be a great confidence booster. Kudos on the great tools you provide!
I thought I was well prepared for my interview until my last interviewer asked if I had any questions about the position. Unfortunately, I wasn't ready for that! I didn't get the job. I figured I better learn how to ask questions myself during an interview and started looking online and found this website. There's a whole section in the training for what questions to ask at the end of an interview! I had no idea it was so important. Wish I had known all this before my last interview.
With everybody getting back into the workforce recently, I thought I better brush up on my rusty interview skills and started looking around online for something to help. I ran across a few interview websites to help, including MyInterviewPractice. After looking to see what each had to offer, I chose this site because it had so many tools – a lot more than I thought I needed or would use. However, once I got started on the process they suggested, I discovered I wanted to use everything they had to offer so I would be the best prepared candidate at my upcoming interviews. I ended up spending a lot more time preparing than I thought I would, but thanks to everything they had to offer, I am ready for anything my interviewers throw at me in the next couple of weeks.
I am rejoining the workforce and I thought I wanted to work as an executive assistant. I took a look at the interview questions for different careers on here, and I now know I need to take a look at other career options.
I referred a friend cause she was applying to a position that was open at her company. She sent her practice interviews to me so I could review them. When I did, I gave her some feedback that she didn't pick up on.
