My wife ordered 4 dresses that looked very cute and perfect on the website. After receiving them we realized we spent $180 on 4 dresses that we could've gotten at Walmart for $20. They are made by random brands that were not specified in the listing. They fit not even close true to size. The model size in the photos are exactly same weight and height as my wife and they fit much larger. It seems they specifically have the models hold the dress in a way to hide the true size or clip the back so it looks like it fits perfectly. She was so looking forward to getting some nice quality dresses and was thoroughly disappointed. And we can't even get our money back. What a waste.

Whoever takes their pictures must be incredible. It takes skill to take clothes this ugly and make them appear cute. I acknowledged their 'no refund' policy expecting to receive items comparable to what was in the image but was sorely disappointed. Wish I had never ordered because their prices are significant to have to write off as a 'you live and you learn' but I would warn anyone thinking of purchasing to spend this much on clothes from a different supplier where you would be able to return or exchange in a store that sells clothes worth wearing. I love supporting small business, but this is set up like a scam. STAY AWAY!

My daughter got her first dress for free because she is a missionary! I will be purchasing many more for my girls. It was beautiful on her! This company also brings dresses all over the world for those in need. You definitely want to buy from them!

Overpriced, mediocre imported clothing with inconsistent sizing. You must pay for return shipping and then, you only receive store credit. EVEN if the item is out of stock and you didn't know when you ordered, you get a store credit. It is impossible to break even once you begin and things don't fit. I finally just cut my losses with two ill fitting tops, having paid considerable postage both ways, and being out cash that is now store credit I don't want. They suck butt. Modest? Immodest? Who cares with a business model like this. I can't express how very much I hate this place now. Avoid at all costs.

In summary, I would recommend this site because its one of the only places I've found that sells affordable, modest and yet stylish dresses. I like to wear longer dresses so its hard sometimes to find things like that are inexpensive and actually look nice.

Pros:
1.) They have really modern and trendy-looking clothing!
2.) The dresses are reasonably modest in length and in fit, which is really hard to find these days.
3.)You can usually find great discounts in the clearance section.

Cons:
1.) Sometimes shipping takes longer than expected.
2.) The material is a bit cheaper than it looks like in the pictures. Its still wearable, but just not long lasting. I've worn the dress I bought from them several times last spring and summer and the knit fabric has started to pill. Not really ugly kind of pill, but like a layer of soft fuzz on top of the fabric. Also some threads are coming loose.
3.) Buying full price is expensive, so you have to wait for sales on the items you like.

To be fair I did not have to speak to customer service or ask for a refund because I loved everything I got. I took that into consideration while ordering that I didn't want to bother with returns, and I was careful about what I ordered. Everything fit great and was great quality. I rarely find lined dresses. These feel so nice while wearing. I'm not usually "modest" but it is nice to find a maxi dress that isn't see through and I can wear a bra with. They post the length of the dresses and the size the models are wearing, which is helpful to get the right size. The sizing chart seemed on the bigger side, I did not follow it. The shipping was free because I spent over $100. It shipped quickly through Fedex.

I am in love with this store! They have an amazing selection of dresses, skirts, tops and other items. I have ordered many dresses from them and they never fail to go above and beyond my expectations. They are super high quality and not to mention extremely cute. All of the dresses are modest AND comfortable. Whether you are looking for a formal dress or just a cute t shirt they got it all. They also have outstanding customer service and are always willing to help me with whatever I need. I would highly recommend shopping here!

Nee See's Dresses has so many options in today's modest fashions dressing you from head to toe. Offering options in every season and holiday. Clothing is true to size (L), and at a price that is worth spoiling yourself.

Quick shipping is the only good thing I can say. Unfortunately, they only offer in-store credit (which their website has no way to use/enter). I returned an item and tried to use the refund-credit and they still charged the full amount on the second order. I emailed them about the issue and they said they would take care of it, but there was no reduction in the amount they charged me. I looked for a refund on my account and there was none. These dresses also didn't fit me. I think my body-type just doesn't fit their fit/sew-model. I am now out money for 3 items of clothing and there is no hope of getting a refund or even being able to use a refund-credit (which I can't use because their clothing doesn't fit me). There is no phone number to call them. The second order came with a piece of clothing that had deodorant "dust" on the inner underarms. I feel like I've just thrown away my money. I'm really disappointed in their service.

Neesee's Dresses has a program for sister missionaries where they can get a free dress, which I'm so thankful for! I received my dress promptly, and it works great for me. It's thinner than I expected, which may not work well for some missionaries but works perfectly for mine. I wish there were more product details on the website. Overall, however, they've got an admirable program I'm happy to support.

Despite the fact that these dresses are out of fashion and down right hideous in person, they are over priced. For good quality, in style, fashionable, nice dresses i would be willing to spend the extra money for a dress, but that is not the case here. The sizing is off and the quality is awful. They make returns almost impossible, only store credit is possible! So if the dress doesn't fit and you need to return it, you can only receive store credit to buy another awful dress. I would online shop elsewhere, there are plenty of other great online shopping websites that are worth the money.

I purchased a dress using the fit guide provided on their website. It is AT LEAST 12" too big in the waist, yet too small around the arms. I can't get the stupid thing off without help. Emailed them about returns and I can only get store credit. Why in the world would I buy from them ever again? "Customer Service" was beyond useless and their return policy is garbage. I paid waaaaay too much for a dress that looks like a tablecloth with too small arms that I then have to go and spend MORE money to return? No freaking way. Not gonna happen. Please, do yourself a favor and don't buy from them. It is absolutely not worth it.

This is a great site for me because I don't like sleeveless/strapless dresses (not a good look for me). It can be a bit pricey, so I try to shop the sale section, but I've had several successes here. My favorite work dress is a dark blue lacey dress from this site (and I could definitely wear to church). I also have a black A line with flutter sleeves, a floral A line dress that I'm about to wear to another wedding, a spring jacket, and a shirt. All the dresses I bought are lined or made with a thick enough fabric it's not needed.

For everyone complaining about sizing here, I'm guessing they didn't use the size chart. Neesees' sell different brands and that makes a difference - sometimes I need a medium, sometimes a large. Also, I had to learn what cuts will work for me, like any place I buy clothes from.

I absolutely love this company! I have bought many dresses for different events including my college graduation, wedding etc. This time they allowed me to use their discount code even after I had forgotten to add it to the order. They added it and refunded me without hesitation. I would 100% recommend them. It's easier to get ahold of them on Instagram!

I love to shop at NeeSee's for modest dresses! There is such a great variety of beautiful dresses with soft fabric that needs no ironing. All of the dresses are very comfortable and fit well. The longer dresses come with a long ham and I was able to size them to fit the right length. The greatest thing is they have great sales with free shipping. That's the deal I look forward to. I purchased a whole bunch for Christmas gifts and birthday gifts. No doubt we all love NeeSee's from grandma, grown daughters, and teenagers. They especially have great customer service too!

This is my go-to place for all my clothes, it's beautiful, classy, and very nice material. I've ready reviews that say the material isn't good- that's not true. It's of excellent quality. Follow the size information and you will be fine. I am 5'8 - 142 pounds and fit in a size M. All my neesees cloths are a size M. I get compliments all the time on where I got my clothes. Yes, their clothing is expensive, however, at the end of each season they have clearance sales and the clothing is much cheaper - AND they generally allow you to use 10% off coupons that you can receive in your email once you sign up to receive their emails - which always end up in spam, so I have to pay attention to them.

I love this company. Their website is easy to shop on and the check is super simple. The staff is always willing to help me with anything I need. I would 100% recommend them if you are looking for a modest prom dress or a cute church dress. The quality is superb and the returns are simple.

I ordered something for the first time. The color is not how it appears in the website and the top part of the dress is see through. It also is not cut right on the top. You can only exchange not return.

They always talk about fantastic sales that they actually have ALL THE TIME because their dresses are MEGA marked up in price. They don't ship consistently, it can take two days or thirty. The sizes aren't consistent, but you can bet it won't fit. Some stuff shrinks a lot. One time I ordered from a sale and when I got my order TWO of my three items were missing! I emailed them, and they said that "oops, one of those dresses was out of stock by the time we shipped them". Gee, thanks a lot. They didn't have an explannation for the other one, so they refunded my money. Almost everything they have can be found at Downeast or Mikarose. Go there instead, $60 just to be lied to isn't worth it.

I bought the Cassandra Dress for $50 plus shipping. I was looking for a high waisted maxi that could do in a pinch for formal wear. It arrived fast, and the beautiful, slightly stretchy velvety material was exactly as the image implied. I buy a lot of dresses for the many occasions I have to attend, and this seems a well made dress. I am close to 5'8", and I am a very fit 180 Ibs. The high waist and silhouette on this dress is perfect and flattering, not at all a "tent" in a size L. Usually size large fits unless my broad shoulders and size C bust mess it up. Unfortunately, this bodice was not able to handle all that and would work well for ladies with a more petite frame and small bust. I'm only giving 3 stars because although quality is good, there was no option for XL. Also the return policy is so horrible, I would never buy 2 sizes, as I often do from other sites, so I can compare. Lastly, I wish I had noticed ahead of time that on the Facebook site, Neesees blocks most of the comments, and that's a real red flag for me. Neesees only offers a store credit for returns, and I am going to have to eat this expense because I won't risk ordering anything from there again.

I ordered the dress called "The Lennox" and it looked like it was beautiful and feminine in the pictures.
It is true to the color shown but, the sleeves are really poor fitting and too big for a size small dress.
The dress is just overall too big for a size small and to me it seemed modest but leaned toward being a bit old fashioned.
I wore it to church and it rode up towards my breasts because of the short waist and elastic in the back of the waist.
I have noticed that many of the dresses Nee sees's sell are short waisted and elastic waisted.
If you are a longer waisted gal look at them closely and read the description carefully before you order.
Disappointed because the dress was over 60.00 and as another review said return policy is not very consumer centered.
I also notice that the dresses are modeled only on younger models who may not have the body imperfections that other ages have.
I am sorry that I could not give a positive review but, I have to be honest.
I was so excited to find a site with clothes that were not vulgar but, modest does not have to be frumpy, poor fitting and out dated..
