Use paypal when you buy, because if you have a serious problem Newegg will do everything it can to keep your money.The only thing they respect is getting a negative reputation with paypal.

The product listing 'should' be labeled refurbished. Jonn B is correct in choosing your method of payment. Use paypal. It is the only way you will get your money back if there is an issue with the order or device. They sent me a defective new out of box laptop, and I had to to fight with them just to take it back. When the finally agreed to refund it, they wanted to charge me a re-stocking fee. Once I had confirmation from them the return was received, I contacted paypal, showed them all the interactions with newegg, and they put the full amount in my account that day. Side note-Newegg threatened to close my account if I disputed the charge.

It should clearly say if you will be getting a new or refurbished phone or anything else you decide to buy. But it's a gamble to buy anything at all if you read reviews not including mine. Good luck though.

It should clearly state "Refurbished" next to the price
