I WAS PROMPTED AS BEING BLOCKED TO CONTINUE I HAVE TO RE-REGISTER AND START ALL OVER BECAUSE I ANSWERED THE 2 QUESTIONS INCORRECTLY AFTER I SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED THE FIRST PART. I'VE BEEN DRIVING FOR 40+ YEARS WITH A CLEAN RECORD I MERELY WANTED TO GET THE 10% DISCOUNT. THIS IS A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. THEY BAMBOOZLE YOU WITH STATISTICS THAT MOST PEOPLE WOULD PROBABLY TUNE OUT. IF YOU DON'T REMEMBER THE STATS YOU HAVE TO RESTART AND PAY AGAIN? TRIED CALLING AS WELL AS CONTACTING THEIR "LIVE CHAT" TO TRY AND RECEIVE SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANCE TO NO AVAIL. THIS SHOULD BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE BBB! Seemed like a great idea until I paid and tried completing the course. It kept freezing up, not allowing me to move to the next parts and I even got locked out after an incorrect answer to one of the questions. They fail to tell you if you miss any of the security questions or answer a question incorrectly you're Done!, locked out, game over! They were not able to allow me to pick up where I left off so I had to start from the beginning after almost 3 hours spent taking the class. They also would not issue a refund so I started at the beginning again. 9+ hours later I completed the course. Never again!, not even if it was FREE! I hope I actually receive the certificate in the mail, but I'm not counting on it. Please, please, please don't abuse yourself by taking this class. The in-person classes are so much easier even though you have to physically go there. No biometric BS, no glitchy software, no continual restarting from the beginning if you have a problem or if you answer a question incorrectly. You must
Just got off phone with customer service, after having been RESTARTED TWICE! I have already spent over 10 hrs on this crap course that keeps glitching and telling me I failed a quiz, WHICH I DID NOT. I've done it twice already so know every answer. I get to the last module, refresh the page bc the platform DOESNT WORK PROPERLY and it decided that I failed a quiz and had to RESTART AGAIN FOR A 3RD TIME! Oh and no refund bc "I started the course already." DO NOT USE THIS COURSE! NOTHING BUT WASTING YOUR TIME AND CLOWNS FOR AN IT DEPARTMENT THAT CANT FIX THEIR CRAP PLATFORM! My $25 is now a donation to a bunch of clowns.
Paid for the course and got 75% of the way through the course before it locked me out and would not let me continue. They told me I had to pay again to continue. What a SCAM and a complete waste of time!

I signed up to take the course first once I reach module 2 it kept repeating over and over and then I was blocked! Try to sign back in I couldn't try to call the number for days can't get anyone over the phone! Finally I chat with someone online he ask me to pay again since the course can't be unlocked! What kind of fraud is that!
Customer service is rude and terrible! I failed the last section in module 3 which is only one question and got 100 on all the other modules and they blocked me and told that I have to register and pay again. This is CRAZY!
It's created in specific way that you'll purchase it again and again. Many ways to make mistakes and you'll failed entire course. Don't buy it. There even cheaper courses from Chinese guys
Wish I saw these reviews prior to spending 4.5 hours and then getting blocked. I was almost done and missed some questions and boom blocked. Wants me to re-register and pay again. I'm disputing with my credit card company.
I was 2/3 of the way through the course, failed the security questions because they're stupid questions and I couldn't remember what I put. I contacted them and asked to speak with a supervisor, they refused and ended the conversation. They then made me restart course, but they didn't make me repay. Started the course again, got to the very last quiz and failed the questions again. I called and asked to speak to a supervisor, was supposed to receive a call back but I haven't heard anything. Such a waste.
My wife completed the main course and reached the review part, she log in to finish 2modules in the review part and was denied access and course was automatically blocked. Error message asking for her to re register and to re pay the fee. After spending 5 hours to complete the course and reaching the 2 last steps in the review for this to happened. Therefore I disencouraged consumers to use their services.
After paying $19.95 (red flag) for the online defensive driving course and providing too much personal information drivers license #,insurance policy # etc the system blocked me from taking the course. It asks what state did I get a ticket in. I have no tickets and there is no way to enter that so system blocked me from competing course. They did not respond to emails and was left hanging on the phone. I think they are mining for information and not sure why they are allowed to operate.

I finish the course and pay extra for an overnight shipping and never received my certificate call 5 times no answer email 10 time not answer back at all that life chat never worked this was the worst experience ever with a course and I have taken a few but this one never again
I have had nothing but problems. Finished course-still says in progress. Chat feature never connects you-have tried chat at least 10 times. Spent 4 hours on hold-no one ever answered. Emailed 3X…no response (says will reply within 24 hours).

Completely different than in the past. Got locked out and blocked, so did my husband. No representatives answer the phone and I never received an email or 'chat' back.
Seems to be a scam at this point. I cancelled my credit card purchases and moved on.

This place is a scam with no real customer service. I was on the phone for 40+ mins until I came to my senses and hung up. They purposely fail the identity tests so you get locked out of your account and can't get the certificate.

I've used NY Safety Council online course in the past with no problems. This year was different. I got locked out of the course two times due to the voice recognition system and was put on hold for 1 1/2 hours each time before I could talk with a live person to get the "locked out" removed. I'd recommend an alternative program in the future or an in-class program.
Bought on 03/24/21 finished that day there system said I didn't finished a second time on 04/13/21 waited for certificate still 60 days later no certificate no one will get back to you no one knows anything. I will never use this site again the only thing they are 100% on is taking your money save your time people go someplace else.

I was halfway through the course and by accident I answered one (of many) of my security questions incorrectly. The site offered a "Retry" which I then answered correctly. Then they blocked my account stating I had too many attempts to log back in.
When I went to the Chat area to discuss, no response. It did not send my request through. Finally, I sent an email. They responded sorry for the error please send us additional info and left me with the thought that this will be ok. I just received an email stating the account is no longer available. I can re-register and if I pay an additional fee I can avoid being blocked out the next time...I told them their service is disgusting and this is just a way to make more money rather than helping people. This is not a service I would recommend to anyone. I wasted over 3 hours of my time.

You are better off going to a defensive driving course near by. There is no type of customer support and the chances of you being locked out of the course and having to be force to repay for it again are super HIGH!
