Yesterday I went to a Nordstrom rack store in San Leandro,Ca.Among other things I found a pair of shorts Which I liked. I am size 34. They had 32 and 36. A kind lady was able to locate one in Dublin,a few miles away(one pair only). I rushed to Dublin,without taking a picture, or remembering the brand.There I found the nicest young lady Victoria. Based on my description,style,color,she went in the back.3-4 minutes later she came back holding them with a beautiful smile on her beautiful face.she made my day. How wonderful will be life with Victoria(S) EVERYWHERE..

My package was "lost" but this was only determined after I repeatedly contacted Nordstrom Rack via their customer service chat and phone number. I was able to get a full refund by calling their number and clearly explaining my situation, however, I can only imagine the number of customers that wouldn't advocate for themselves in that way due to a variety of reasons. This would lead me to believe there are many NR customers which do not receive their purchase yet NR still profits. Seems clear that NR cares about profit far more than their reputation and/or customer satisfaction. This being said, I'd shop at NR only in-person at an actual storefront, never again online.

I ordered three items that were listed on the website and charged for the items and shipping. 3 days later, I get a message saying that my order is cancelled because the items are not available, and that I will get a refund in 7-10 days. This company is playing games with people's money. We'll see what kind of refund I actually get...next week!

They should not have taken my payment, if the products were not available. They should process the refund immediately, not in 7-10 days.

I purchased a $650 bag that was delivered to the new store in Omaha. I picked up the bag which was in a shipping box and when I got it home to open it up, I realized they sent me the wrong bag. The bag they sent me was not my style at all and $200 less than the bag I ordered and wanted. I contacted customer service which is the worst CS I've ever received. They wanted me to pay an additional $650 to send a replacement. When I told them no...they can send the replacement once I return the bag they insisted on getting my Credit Card info to "hold" just in case. What?! This business is a scam.

Shoes was uncomfortable, it's difficult to say if it's comfortable at all unless you wear it all day. Worn it once and they refused to take it back. I just won't shop at this store anymore. If I could rate them a zero I would!

I found out later that some of my order was a special sale that means Not Returnable. I phoned up and their website said to go to the store. I just spent time waiting on line at the store only to be refused again.

Apparently even a "manager" cannot return an item with tags on, in the original shopping bag, and with a receipt, if it's dated anything over 60 days. Might have gotten further if I "lost" my receipt. Doesn't make any sense. I worked retail in Seattle for many years when Nordstrom was known for their customer service; in particular, accepting return on a set of tires! This got them decades of positive and free publicity. Guess those days are gone, but in a world with fewer free-standing retailers you would think customer service would be more important. Oh well… time to shop elsewhere…

"Final Sale" is just that. Even if merchandise is defect you are stuck with item. Sole off boot after a few wears, sneakers where stitching gave way within a short time. You own it. Bad customer deal.

After taking quite a bit of time selecting items for a wardrobe refresh and placing the order, Nordstrom rack cancelled my order without explanation. Even if they suspected fraud due to the fact that I added a new ship to address, that order should not have been cancelled. The items had minimal stock and now more than likely those items will become unavailable. The order should have been placed on hold, the inventory allocated and I should have been contacted immediately or within 24-hours. This is not a good business practice. I will shop my wardrobe refresh elsewhere.

Bought two expensive sweatshirts online. Came in box with small packing slip, folded in half, with just the two items listed. Didn't fit. Busy traveling for work so did not have a chance to return for about 60 days. When my wife took them to a store to return them, because I was again out of town, they said the purchase was too old for them to accept them, as there is a 30 day deadline for returns. Turns out the policy was printed on the back of the packing slip, in very light and small print, which was not visible because it was on the inside of the fold. Called customer service, and all they did was repeat that they could not issue a return label for purchases outside of the time limit. What a scam.

Do yourself a huge favor and don't order anything from this site. It has. Nothing to do with the REAL Nordstrom. They'll take your money but never ship anything. Good luck trying to get customer service or anything. It's practically non existent. How this site is allowed to post and conduct business by these social media sites is beyond me.

I received a lot of inaccurate information ("Package was delivered last Thursday," for example) and was told I would have to pay for items I never received. Fortunately, the items did arrive five days after. Very unprofessional and irresponsible. Also asked me to report to the police if I missed the package. I will not shop with them anymore.

I purchased shoes on April 12 and two weeks later have yet to receive them. The shoes were shipped via FedEx and initially showed delayed. FedEx reps have stated that Nordstrom Rack should file a claim, however, this has been met with resistance from NR. It matters not whose fault it is, especially after two weeks. This needs resolution and this is totally unacceptable handling of this issue, file the claim.
As someone who wears a size 4 shoe, Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack are my go to but this has left me baffled, and hesitant to purchase from them for a while.

If you change your mind on an order you only have one hour to get a refund, according to the customer service person. No where online or on my email receipt does it state that. It states that there is short time to cancel. I tried to cancel after 5 business hours and they wouldn't budge.

I used to make purchases using the free ship to store option. I am extremely disappointed to see the new policy is the purchase must be $89 or greater to get free ship to store. This is the same spending threshold to get free shipping to home! Why would anyone now choose ship to store when they can just ship it to home using the same "minimum spend threshold"? Does this company not realize that many customers will shop in store once they are there picking up their order (thereby generating more sales)? This is extremely poor decision making by management and corporate executives. Nordstrom Rack just lost me as a customer!

Shipping for the rack is fraud- but from Nordstrom on line - free shipping but Nordstrom's crack- unreasonable cost! Order: 1 pr sandals that didn't fit (84.22) Returned within hours. Charged almost $10 for emailed shipping label for return and another 10 for shipping. Total refund 64.12! NO EXCHANGE POLICIES/ $20 to try on a pair of sandals. Worst company I ever purchased from. NEVER AGAIN

I am a cardholder with nordstrom and have been a long time buyer at both nordstrom and nordstrom rack. Just the last year or so I have noticed the quality of items at nordstrom rack has gone down significantly. I have returned more in the last year than I have ever had to. Things are not described accurately and often not photographed accurately. Very disappointed. Just received a pair of shoes today for $100 they looked so cheap and flimsy I was embarrassed to wear them though they fit just fine. I am sending them back but unfortunately returns are taking About 6 weeks to even reach the warehouse this year with every single one of my returns. It takes another 10 to 14 days to process the return. That's just completely unacceptable!
Unfortunately my recent experiences with customer service has been unsatisfactory as well.

Be careful of their descriptions. Do not trust their sizing charts. If you're ordering something for a special event order a backup.... Don't count on what you have ordered to arrive looking like it did on the website.

I bought a pair of shoes & paid a total price of $41.13. The shoes did not fit so I returned them figuring I'd lose the shipping fee of $9.95. I received a refund of $21.23 which means it ended up costing me $19.90 to return the shoes. Outrageous. I'll never buy from Nordstrom Rack again.

Update from last review. My order appeared at my door 2 days later. I don't mind the delay but the notification I received that my package was delivered came 2 days in advance. Was afraid my order was stolen.
The package and products arrived well packed and in perfect conditions. I am so happy his situation was cleared. Next time, i will consider shipping to your closer store.

I placed an order. Activated the text message alert for delivery. I got the notification and right away went to my door. Nothing! Went to the leasing office, nothing. Reported it to the customer service and they said courrier confirmed it was delivered to my address. Well, I opened the door when got the text, checked the surrounding apartments, and went to leasing office and nothing. They said no refund will be issued. So, i paid for something I NEVER received. Well, you lost a loyal customer.

A delivery estimate is created, however, that is in no way the reality. Just makes you feel like something is on the way, when nothing actually is.
At least the 1 item they shipped Fedex will come on the date Fedex says.
I gets things from China faster than I get things from here. And in the end, I need to return some stuff and still have to pay return shipping.
