Wow. So I guess I'm not the only one who is being royally screwed by this dismal excuse of a company.
I have been dealing with the damage and failure to deliver a package(s) intact for almost a year now. Constantly assured I would be called by a supervisor named Eternal. These assurances have gone on for months. Contact only made from my end. I've never received any phone call or conclusion as to why they were so incompetent in delivery. I provided all information they required, I have made follow-up calls that have gone ignored. I was assured many times I would be called back. Promised even under recorded lines – utter lies. All I wanted was a refund for delivery and admittance that they destroyed my item for tax records. Or at the very least a phone call to explain as to why they closed my case. Which they never even bothered to inform me about.
I've had to seek legal options. Never use this service - use much more reliable services such as packn'send or courier services not associated with NZpost. Disappointing and utterly incompetent group of people.

NZ Post is abysmal! I ordered hair stoppers from Ali Express to be delivered to my address and they never arrived. When I contacted NZ post the took no responsibility for the lost parcel and simply shifted the blame to Ali Express and myself even-though their courier driver delivered it. Absolutely shocking service. Great customer service NZ Post. Keep it up!
These clowns are worse than useless, can't read 3 simple words on delivery instructions, so I turned the hose on him & soaked him & the mail in his van... actual morons that failed in life & are stuck as a mail man... they even fk that up somehow
NZ Post charge an exorbitant amount to send a letter in NZ. They just raised their prices 15%! Massive increases every year!
Since november they have lost my parcel (340$). Since this month, they are just kidding with me and asking me 70 times the sames questions.
I took an insurance because i wanted to send in france then i kept the tickets from the day i send the parcel. I don't have the tickets for all the gifts inside, it's not possible because i got clothes from 5 years ago… i can't show these tickets… They still don't wanna refund me i don't know why they asking 70 times the same questions that i've already answered? What the hell is going on i really think it's a joke. I don't recommend :(
Package posted on 9th January 2024 from Auckland bound for the UK. Over 1 month and no sign of the package. Appalling service. Will not use again. Better to use a well known international courier service who is competent in delivery services.

People pay for over night and it takes up 2 3 days even months or have nothing show up at all.
All they can say is contact the company your purchased from. Why so they can pull more money out of their business for your stuff up. Once a company hands over their goods it's up to the next company to take care of it... not nz post they don't care. I bet half their workers are stealing the parcels themselves.
All the Information on their website is utter useless. Some how my parcel has been lost in seaview which is literally down the road from me?
They dont answer their phones even at the call center.
I'm trying to track my parcel that has been at their depot for almost a week, no attempted delivery, no one seems to know where it is, and they refuse to help.

90% of the time I call, I get left on hold until the line dies, the other 10% I've been told they don't know where it is.
Hands down the worst courier in NZ.

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. There is no customer service and to be honest they really dont care about how the customer feels. Still with day 11 for deliver after being told 5 day delay
Never deliver on given time. Waited all day for my parcel just to find out will not deliver. Hopeless. Nz Post haven't even scanned my item that they already collected from send over 1 week ago. Seems like it's lost. If you call them they just blame on covid. Aramex does way better job then them.

These guys have no idea how to operate a delivery company. So my parcel which is supposed to have a guaranteed delivery timeframe of 1-2 days takes 2 weeks to deliver? Why am I paying you extra then? Bloody scammers. The customer service representative was no help either. Told me to go pick it up myself. Thanks Melissa, not sure what kind of a broke back training they put you through; but you sure do live up to the motto of your company: "Helping zero kiwis and causing them a massive headache since the beginning of time because we are lazy as f***". Save your money and time and frustration by not using these useless idiots.
Horrible service, tracking tool says that my parcel was delivered, but I did not receive anything. I lodged an enquiry, after an "investigation" they said that it was delivered to a metal letterbox. The funny part is that we have a camera installed at the front gate, which did not record any deliveries (previous and the same day visits from our friends were recorded - so the camera is working fine). Now they tell me to lodge a claim process with an overseas sender, who actually did not do anything wrong. NZ Post should learn to own their mistakes and rectify them like a proper responsible business.
Why pay for overnight shipping with signatures when they take 4 days and then sign it delivered themselves. The signature says "letterbox". My letterbox can't sign for a package. There's a reason it needed to be signed for, because it was clearly something of value or importance. These guys are genuinely stupid.
My 4 parcels left the USA 5 weeks ago according to the tracking system. Their tracks have gone cold since then. NZ post has disabled phone lines, I have asked the USA postal services for enquiry but they say it is not possible to get hold of anyone in NZ post for answers. I am not the only one here with intl parcels disappearing in NZ post mess. Can anyone actually front up and tell me what is happening? This is an strategic national business. What you are doing is embarrassingly unacceptable. I believe there needs to be a formal enquiry into how this business is operating.
They have a disgusting delivery services. The driver who looks after the area in Manurewa is rude arrogant and vulgar. He does not know how to knock on the door when he's either here to deliver or pick up stuff. He bangs rapidly yet there's a bell. When I approached him he got angry and questioned whether he dented or broke the door. Please train this guy he needs some customer service NZ Post.Period

I ordered an urgent delivery two days ago from Invercargill to a business address in Cambridge (rural) it was requested at 9.00 am and picked up at 16.00 pm for "overnight delivery" but with an "expected delivery date of 3 days + 1 for rural". What's the point? I regularly order goods from Europe and the United States. Arrival in NZ is typically 1-2 days. From there, parcels often take in excess of two weeks to be delivered to me. NZ Couriers are third world delivery service with first world prices. They don't deserve 1 star.
I have booked 6 pickups since December 2021 and all but 1 took over 3 days to pick up and on 4 occasions no driver ever turned up at all even after ringing many times and ended up dropping off to nz post in Green Bay myself. Been selling for 20 years and worst service ive ever seen. Been great until then and in December big problems started.
Can I give 0 stars? Absolutely disgraceful service. I recommend any other courier company. Twice i was told to pick up from a location (after two failed deliveries, which is a story on it's own but not entirely unforgivable) and twice I'm told on location my parcel isn't there. Please call this number (again!) to sort out (again!).
Very rude man who did not provide me with the requested advice on options for the $20 limit I had for posting. I then had to return and he told me it was my fault! Incredibly poor customer service, incredibly rude.I pity his staff who looked at me as though this was not the first time.
Last monday we had a company o in hamiton overnight a courier, i was home all day tuesday and wednesday, i rung NZ post to track mt parcel which they said it had been dropped off tuesday just after 4 pm, i was home theres no way they came! I have requested a photo to proof ot was dropped to my place as i know 100% it was't im fuming they don't seem to care or get back to any of my emails. Every courier driver has to have GPS on ar all times and will show where they were at this time. I just dont understand how they can treat there customers so bad! I will never use them again and will be asking all my friends and family to do the same.

Had a parcel arrive from China, we tracked it all the way here to NZ post.
NZ post claimed they delivered our parcel and left it in the letterbox and had a photo of it to prove it, this was a 30 piece crockery set left in the letter box, suffice to say they never showed us the photo they admitted having possession of the parcel, however we had to raise an issue with the shipper, even though the shipper had done their part.
Customer service was horrendous and dismissive with it is not our problem attitude, we have never received any compensation or so much as an apology.
I would suggest using a reputable courier in future... You suck NZ post. I will endeavour to never ever use you again
Staff does not know how to speak to the customers, extremely rude and manner less. You are there to help the public not letting your frustration out on them. If they have an option to give them negative rating, I would have given them. I have been working in customer service from last 10 years and never had spoken to my clients like this. Please teach your staff basic etiquettes. I feel awful after speaking to this lady over the phone.
I had parcel from Auckland to Auckland.
It took 5 weeks to arrive, and screwed up my plans.
Was unable to get anyone from Aramax either via phone or email - they are all automated.
Seller was unable to any answers as well.
But the seller was kind enough to send me another parcel for free - this time using Courier Post (NZ Post).
This second delivery arrived 3 days later.
So maybe I am lucky, but I would say NZ Courier is good, and Aramax is definitely the worst possible delivery company in NZ.
Possibly the world. I have done Googled search on Aramax, and they are unbelievably bad in NZ, Aust, India etc. basically worldwide.
