OnlineJobs.ph has a rating of 2.2 stars from 47 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. OnlineJobs.ph ranks 1352nd among Jobs sites.
Great site to hire quality talent! One of the best place to get an affordable Virtual Assistant. You can also hire Graphic designers, Content writers, Social Media experts, Marketing specialists, Code developers and many more.
I'm writing this review because I'm frustrated and worried by OnlineJobs.ph's seeming unethical, if not unlawful, approach to profiles. They sell your information to paying, registered employers without your knowledge or implicit consent. The login information, activity, integrity, and confidentiality of your profile are therefore at risk with all other employers when you create a profile on OnlineJobs.ph. They even display your applications to them. This is blatantly unethical and a breach. In exchange for the company using potentially exploitative user information for ethical business operations, users provide this information to the website as long as they believe it will only be used for this purpose, similar to how OnlineJobs.ph uses information. Furthermore, it's disheartening to see everything related to ethics and privacy operate in this manner. OnlineJobs.ph seems to be using this operation only to sell your information and doesn't seem to care about you (or me!) as a loyal user in return, so I DO NOT suggest it for any future ventures. Hopefully, OnlineJobs.ph will either 1. Receives the punishment they deserve for engaging in such inappropriate behavior or 2. Gives us peace of mind that our information will be safe.

I got scammed 2 years ago by a dude who employed me from US. Submitted a case but they won't help me and just turned a blind eye.

Do not care about workers on this site. Lots of scammers! Even if you report it they won't take any actions! Beware you can receive reviews but you can't review the scammer employer!
Normal Customer Service: says how to solve the problem of scammers.
Onlinejobs Ph: Threatens to ban you on their platform.

What a platform! Even if you do not get the job scam job posting can write you bad reviews while on hiring process you cannot even rebuttal. I even got a review where I don't even remember doing or talking to that person.
Tip for consumers:
Never use this site. Full of scammers. They just get free designs on hiring process.

If not then a well intended sham. The couple negative reviews here are consistent, slow engagement, little follow up, wrong skills. Likely an algorithm throws the multiple job post responses, as I have seen identical replies from different profiles. I think it's a bit shady on company side and the worker side as well, so your getting stuffed from both ends... not a good thing in this case.
Look at all the positive reviews here, do you notice anything...? Similarities. Coincidences... lots of animal and nature loving profile pics huh. I m sure it has worked for some, but not at the scale they suggest. It only has to work once for it to be legit, so yeah, its legit. You could sign up, you could find a good VA, you could not? But the smell test is starting to stink.

Submit tons of application but none of a single respond (not even a message to tell you out)
I read other reviewers shared the same feeling too, it's no surprised platform fetching sys gen profiles to make it looks really active everyday or maybe hope to get sold one day like the Twitter? But wait, the owner of space-x won't be fooled that easy, is the same tricks gonna work out for u too onlinejobs.ph?

Sometimes, we are really met with clients that do not value our worth; those who don't understand the time it takes to do our tasks, abuse our rates, lowering them even further. They demand us to work for them full time at a meager salary, and yet it turns out that their pay can't even suffice our needs. Unfortunately, when we disagree with these clients, they leave us negative reviews which we, freelancers can't see. And thing is, we really can't defend ourselves as to why we've performed poorly for them especially when they themselves didn't follow through with their contracts. The site is officially client-oriented and disables employees who want to seek a better chance in life and better earning opportunity.
This really leads us to lose our chance of finding a good client that actually values our expertise and skills.
Tip for consumers:
Beware of clients that offer you lower rates, and demand your presence for the whole day. especially clients that live in the middle east. Always ask for the rate before you agree.

I took the suggestion to get several potential candidates before paying the membership fee. One person responded who did not have the requisite skills. Another person responded but did not follow up after I tried to schedule an appointment. No one else responded to my message to determine if they were still for hire. I would not recommend this service if you want to move forward with a hire within two weeks or less. There are other sources that do not charge a membership fee and have a much better response/engagement timeframe.
Tip for consumers:
Try another resource that doesn't charge to engage potential freelancers

To increase your ID proof please review the following:
Incorrect name/address in the billing section.
The name on the bill should be the same name as the worker.
No tampering of name or address in the Utility bill. -- IF you are not the one who register for a Bill you cant be verified|? How stupid is that!

Users/job seekers cannot see any reviews posted by their employers. If you're a VA, there's no way to know if you have a review up on your profile (positive or negative). This is quite unfair (and absurd not to have any visibility of your own ratings!) in case you get one from a dishonest and disgruntled employer, you'd be surprised you're not getting any job opportunities. Onlinejobs.ph Support Team is quite arrogant. Reaching out to them to seek clarification about why you can't see your own reviews is futile because they think they simply don't owe you any explanation. Moreover, the companies/employers are generally the thrifty ones who offer VAs as little as $400 a month for full-time work, though there are a few who are good and fair enough to offer $1000 starting. I would blame it on OJ's salary guide. AS IF they're experts in determining the worth of a VA's skills. Maybe Jonas based it on how much he's willing to pay his Fil workers. LinkedIn jobs are still way better.

Other job sites are better!

One of their freelancer stole one of our clients then tried to use our resources to help said client. I supplied some screenshots to prove my claim. But they still sided with the freelancer saying since the client agreed to work with said freelancer, then there's nothing they can do about it. That is theft and they allowed it to happen to one of their paying customers.

I've been using onlinejobs.ph for a couple of years now, to say the least, it's transformed my business!
Not only have I hired quality people off the platform in technical finance roles, we now have 6 full time employees.
I invested in the hiring processes offered by onlinejob.ph and couldn't be happier!
Thank you John and the amazing team in PH!

I'm writing this review in comparison to the way Upwork does things differently and I can say that Upwork is far more better than Onlinejobs.PH. In OLJ, there's no option for freelancers to see how they're rated by clients and the hiring people can leave a review even during the hiring process. There's no probe or investigation that happens whether these are legitimate clients or not. Transparency and visibility should be established. Plus, OLJ doesn't filter out scammers posing as clients, there's no way for Freelancers to rate these clients as well. So the chances of getting scammed at OLJ are really high.

I've been following John's content for about 2+ years so I was familiar with the space a long time before hiring.
What took me so long?
Before taking the leap I only paid attention to negative reviews, after hiring my second OFS I realized those people are reacting to holes in THEIR business.
Your OFS is not a miracle worker. OnlineJobs.ph is not a miracle matchmaker.
It's a platform, that puts you in contact with real people with coachable skills who are eager to do a great job.
With the right training, patience, and a little trial & error your OFS can handle A LOT.
Your job as an employer is to empower your OFS to complete the work to your standards and create processes that ensure things get done. If you aren't willing to do that, you probably shouldn't be hiring in the first place.
Some games you don't get to play unless you're all in. This is one of them. Take the leap!

I was an active user of their platform before until I met an employer who accused me of harassing their HR when it was me who was actually discriminated against to the point that they lied to them putting me at odds. I thought they are fair however I was ignored repeatedly when I sought help.
Two years ago, in frustration, I asked them to delete my account which they acknowledged however they stated over email that by doing so I won't ever rejoin the platform anymore. Fast forward to 2022 I wrote back again seeking help to reverse but again they only responded with the last email exchange we had. Me being fair, I reviewed their terms and conditions and they had not once stated there that there is a rule preventing for a job seeker to rejoin. I wrote back to express my argument and I will voluntarily comply had they published such writing. Again, I was ignored.
Honestly, there are better platforms there that are far more equal in terms of protecting the welfare of their job seekers. I suggest avoiding OnlineJobs.PH not only for their horrible customer service, bogus employers, they just don't care about job seekers are they only gain fraction from our hard-earned money whilst banking cash on employer subscriptions instead.
To OnlineJobs.PH, I never regretted joining before and am thankful that I treated this way as it made me realize through the other reviews here that what I experienced is aligned with what others had in the past.
