Here’s what consumers have asked with answers from Peapod staff and previous consumers.
It's a legitimate company. We have gotten deliveries from them when we needed them. BUT ---- and it's a BIG BUT when you are dependent on an order being filled with inventory in question. Are they truly completely out of eggs and onions? Was I charged for them? I'll never know. BECAUSE -- they are 100% unresponsive to problems and concerns. Three emails -- unanswered. One phone call (forewarned about a 36 minute wait-time) disconnected at their end after 77 minutes. I HATE THEM.
Never got the same day or next day expiration, though, last Thanksgiving I ordered a tray of sweet potatoes and tray of stuffing and received two trays of stuffing. Credit is given pretty quickly.
