on 3/1/10It's trustworthy, a prescription is needed, but dealing with medications taking forever to ship, or having some type of issue with refills has been a continued problem. That is the most frustrating thing about this company.
I get all my pet meds from PetCareRx and have for a couple years. They are fantastic and I save a bunch of money vs buying from the vet's office.
Yes, I order from them frequently and they are delivered ontime. If there is an issue with a prescription it is easy to call them and they are on top of it immediately.
Yes, they require a script from the vet. NO, they are not trustworthy. They will try to sell you stuff you don't need.
I have 5 dogs and have been getting various medications for 3 of them (plus Heartguard for all 5) for years. I have had small problems with delivery awhile ago but they have since been shipping more quickly. For the most part, I have been VERY satisfied with their service. I have gotten a phone call if they have any questions about my order which was resolved thereafter. With the membership their prices are the lowest I have found online and at my vets. I was surprised to read all the negative comments above. The only thing I would think is that people don't write reviews if they are happy with a service but certainly do if anything goes wrong. I will continue to use this site with the hope that nothing to the negative happens. I just ordered 3 prescriptions today before reading this. Hopefully others who have had good experiences with write a review.
They required a prescription for the heartworm medication I was interested in purchasing. I quickly saw into their pricing scam and wrote the first review on this site; so no, I didn't get medicine, and NO I don't think they are trustworthy. I ordered my dogs meds through 1800PetMeds and have been satisfied with their professionalism and follow-through.
