They fact checked something that wasnt even the original claim. They said that Alexandria Ocasio Cortez did not pretend to get arrested. The real claim is that she pretended to be handcuffed. She did get arrested but no one got put in jail and you can clearly see that she was pretending to be handcuffed. Maybe she got a fine for being there but I haven't seen it so I cant say if even that is true. They are playing with words to make her look good in a biased way. Multiple fact check sources say the same thing some even say the pictures were altered when it was a video. In the screen shots you'll see multiple bad fact checks and you will see in the screen shots that she is in fact pretending to be handcuffed. You see her walking with her hands behind her back on top of each other and then she waves. The fact check video from USA Today doesn't even show her wave at the end, they cut the video.
Tip for consumers:
Dont believe everything they say cause they are biased
Politifact is such a go-to site for fact-checking politicians that their reports often make the news themselves! With statements by elected officials, political pundits and other news makers lined up with their trademarked 'Truth O' Meter' ratings, Politifact makes it easy to see who's telling the truth. This site is a must-bookmark for any true news fan.
We all suspect politicians lie from time to time - ok, maybe most of the time. Now there's documented proof! PolitiFact is dedicated to "sorting out the truth in politics." The editors of the 2009 Pulitzer Prize winning website fact check statements politicians make and rate them as to their truthfulness or whether a politician has changed his or her position. They rated John McCain's statement "I never considered myself a maverick" as PANTS ON FIRE. They have an Obameter on the promises the President has made. It's a great tool for sorting through the rhetoric and keeping track of what is actually being done in government.
Poor customer service... they cannot seem to deliver the paper - I cannot get a supervisor on the phone or to even call me back either. They chronically do not deliver...
An other joke with much reality on it: A fief stop a guy on a street with a gun and ask him: Give me your money, I am a politician with high influence! OK THEN GIVE ME MY MONEY! 1 :))
Politifact is such an other joke with much ignorant people
Doesn't get any worse than this. Stay away!
PolitiFact is a fact-checking website that rates the accuracy of claims by elected officials and others on its Truth-O-Meter.
