This company's website had an error while booking tickets. Hence rebooked it to realise they have charged us twice. When we ring them the number doesn't work and their customer service team / grievance officer do not take responsibility and simply closes the compliant received proving some dumb excuse / response. It is a shame these sort of unethical businesses still exists.

Booked ticket for 1st sep 2024, but to my surprise, the date shown in the ticket was 30th Aug. Immediately tried to change the date (as it was written on the ticket itself that "free date change". But they said, cancellation/date change time is over.)
Tried to contact cust care, but I doubt if at all they have a human support. At last contacted support guys through chat and she said, ur date change time is over. For your info - ticket booked at 3.56pm, and as per her, the cancellation/date change time is until 1pm only (ie. We have to cancel or change date even before booking the ticket, funny...).
She said, redbus can not do anything, and asked me to contact the bus operator. When I spoke to them, they said, they cant do anything, only redbus can cancel it. Someone should be responsible, I believe, as redbus took money from me, its their responsibility.
I have the screen shot of ticket (where its clearly written "free date change"), and all the chat history with the cust support.
Redbus, this is not fair and right.
1. there is tech issue, where selected and and booked dates are diff
2. You are giving false promises (free date change)
3. Negligence and avoidance - not responding to customers
4. Asking for moon - giving a cancellation window till 1pm where the actual booking time itself is 3.56pm
Guys, please be very very cautious when u book ticket with REDBUS, yes, its RED, enter at your own risk

Do not buy anything from redbus, they take whatever money you pay online and neither refund nor provide the service promised. Their customer service is a scam where a bunch of liars lie and fabricate stories. They stole about Rs 550 from me, never provided a service, and also misguided me. Never book any ticket on redbus.

As per their *ride policy* they do not entertain issues related to their buses. If the bus breaks down an hour before your ride starts no alternative arrangement is made. Most of the time the travels call you and ask you settle for non ac if you have booked in ac stating an issue in some part of teh bus. And redBus does not hold responsibility for any such events. They won't even refund if you do not call them a million times. Moreover the only response you can get from them is you ll get a call back in half an hour, which surely never happens. They ll call you the next day to tell you nothing can be done
Worst service. I have booked for my mother and the bus agency member called and informed me that bus is cancelled for tomorrow. When I contacted redbus they told only money debited from bank will get refund, but not the amount used through redbus wallet.
First of all there is no alternative arranged, which we had too much of inconvenient as there were no buses available with that range.
Second thing why I should use redbus wallet is question when there is no money

I booked my ticket they change bus on last movement and even I book lower seats according to my personal reason. But at last they forced me to take upper seat. No attending call and msg no good response if red bus site have little bit manners so they try to contact me.

Most credit cards do not work, and once I found one that did, they took my money and immediately the website said that due to some technical error they could not buy my tickets. I needed to contact customer service to request a refund… except the phone number provided in the email does not work! The emails do not allow for replies. An email provided an option to have them rebook instead of refund, but then they asked me to submit information through their help-page, which was not possible because it could not send a code to my phone, and of course there is nobody on the help chat.
Maybe it works in India, but it's useless for Indonesia despite offering tickets, and I suspect useless for the rest of the world too. Do not use this site. It's money into the void.
I purchased my ticket the day before. When I arrived they had no clue of my purchase. I showed them the confirmation on my phone and was sent to four different people. Finally a woman wrote on a piece of paper so I could get on the bus at the last minute. Ten hour ride was in fact 13 hours. Uncomfortable and safe driving like a mad man.

My family members had took a bus ride from Kolkata to Bhubaneswar. The bus was horrible. They had charged more than 1500 per seats for a overnight journey and the condition of the bus was inexplicable. Please improve the service quality or else you will loose valuable customers.
Booked a bus via redbus as early as 3am. After running around trying to figure out if the bus is missed and profusely sweating got to know after innumerable calls that the service got cancelled without prior notice. They should have been a little more considerate towards updates. After this comes the issue of refund. Once they call me and say that I would recieve a full refund into my bank account and the same day they say charges will be deducted for booking the bus. I don't understand why customers should pay GST without availing the service. Simply they are deducting mediator charges and burdening customers. I'm so upset with this open kind of cheating.

Upon asking the customer care they asked me the arrange the alternative on my own.
Such a fraud company. They just want your money. They will deduct the service charges and return your rest amount.

Hello, For past three days i have made complaint with customer care support persons. Still I don't get any kind of response from them. Treating the customers like is very bad.
The issue is bus driver didn't pick me up in the boarding point. Still I didn't get any refund. I felt cheated. No one is giving proper response.

I book the ticket on 7/ 07/2022 early morning 1.45 AM Bus. But I got the ticket in my email says my tickets confirmed on 08/07/2022. So changed date and confirm on 7th July 2022 I got the confirmation mail again on 8th July 2022. When I call to there customer care number they agree their system fault but they don't allow me to cancel my ticket or change the date. This is my experience with Redbus. So I strongly suggest never ever book the ticket through Redbus. They are no at all trust worthy.
Ones you book ticket, then they indirectly say go to hell. They will not care your call or if your write email, they will respond that we do not accept complaints in this email. App has a list of fixed complaints that they have designed to help their business only, they expect you not to get any help or doubt in your mind other than their own designed FAQ.

We booked 16 tickets frm Mumbai to Ahmedabad and later received a text that due to technical issues., the bus won't be leaving at the following date. There was no AC in City land bus. It should be an AC bus. BUT IT was Not. Drunken people were allowed and people were doing smoking. It was overly charged bus still come late and condition was pathetic.
