Resellerratings has a rating of 1.7 stars from 69 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Resellerratings ranks 123rd among Consumer Protection sites.
I've been using ResellerRatings for years. What's really unique about it is how the reviewers there tend to praise retailers for great service far more often than they criticize. It's refreshing to feel the positive energy there, and read the long accounts and stories of experiences with different retailers, vs most sites out there where people are just ranting.
I just placed an order from a nursery when this organization butted in to inform me that the nursery doesn't participate in their games or whatever. I'm not interested in their opinion but am curious as to how they just pop up while I'm shopping online. They're trying to come across as The Better Business Bureau

This website used to have seller information at one's fingertips. Owner/CEO info, phone numbers, and addresses so you can see how these seemingly large upscale web retailers are nothing but a shack in a slum in NYC. Now this website is TOTALLY USELESS. GREED!

This rating site sucks. They keep giving me some unknown reason to not allow me to rate anything. And guess what? They have NO telephones nor emails listed on their website for you to try to find out why! BEWARE of companies that defend themselves from you by not letting you access them by phone. They tend to be you fake friends, claiming they care for customers but aren't serious enough to have a decent customer service.
This website is nothing but a scam for business owners. I don't get very many angry customers with my business, but when I do and they put in a review on reseller ratings, then either I can pay money to respond or suck it up. Even if the customer is lying. Which a few of them have. I only put 1 star... well because you have to put a star. I would give them zero stars.
Don't use reseller ratings unless you plan on being with them for ever. I used to them for a number of years and gained around 3500 reviews with a 4.7-4-9 aggregate rating. I stopped using them and one person created a single review more than a year ago and the aggfregate rating that shows in the search result is 2 stars out of 5. This goes beyond bad practice and is just plain fraudulent. There is no way the aggregate is a reflection of the 3500+ reviews obtained when I was with them.
Tip for consumers:
Find out what happens when you don't use them any more.
ResellerRatings uses fake and "unverified" 1 star reviews to exploit businesses into paying their ridiculous. Looks at a lot of their one star ratings, they don't have their verified purchase badge on them. Not only that, but they weight bad reviews heavier, so they are intentionally misleading buyers to believe negative things about businesses that don't pay for their "service".
On the merchant side this site is absolutely a nightmare. The technology is horrible. They do not verify reviews, so, if a competitor, ex employee or general troublemaker wants to leave negative reviews they DO NOT phone or email the reviewer asking for proof of a transaction. Since Google has decided for some odd reason to index these reviews, this can severely impact your business if false negatives are posted.
As per my experience Resellerratings.com is an amazing and the most trusted review site which provides best suggestion about any new brand. Thanks Resellerratings for your valuable reviews! I got very good result by following this site and I always recommend others to use this site for any kind of review.
Their reviews are extremely misleading. They seemed to be flawless, but now I know why. I was unable to submit a review of 1StopBedrooms after my purchase [when nearly everything arrived destroyed] because of the unprofessional behavior of 1StopBedrooms customer service. They threatened to take back all of the furniture and only grant a 40% refund if I didn't take the review down. When I finally received the last of the furniture replacements 13 months later, I submitted my long overdue review. It was no longer able to be posted because the purchase was made over 12 months ago. I explained the situation and have plenty of emails to support my claims, but they would not post my review.
These people promote low scoring reviews and weight low scores and recent reviews higher. Since nobody uses their stupid site, a single bad review is enough to tank an otherwise stellar rating. Use a more reputable reviews site like google reviews, yelp, tripadvisor if you want to get accurate info.
We just signed up for this service about 3 months ago and just sent out an email to our customers requesting reviews. The reviews are now rolling in. I don't have a whole lot of data about how the service is working for us just yet but I have had a great experience with their customer service. I emailed them a question about our account at 9; 30 pm and received a response in less than 30 minutes. Great customer service!
Looking for software that is unique in all aspects? Look no further! Mspy is absolutely amazing and unique. I almost missed an interview, but retrieved ALL call recordings from HR online, thanks to mspy. I highly recommend it.
I provide customer follow ups for a dozen or so companies. As part of our reaching out to customers used to ask them to log on to resellerratings.com and leave a review. Then resellerratings.com demanded we stop soliciting reviews to their site unless we join their Merchant Member program. They said that unless we joined the program the reviews generated may be delisted.
Now tell me people, what says, "you don't pay, you don't play" better than this? I have now began asking my clients' customers to leave reviews on Trustpilot. I hope Trustpilot has enough decency not to let greed get in the way and refrain from adopting the same extortion practices resellerratings.com is adopting.
The site allows anyone to write a review of any vendor without any verification of the facts. However, the vendor cannot flag reviews as inappropriate or dishonest without paying them for that right. Even when there is a privacy violation (by calling out employees by name) or bullying of those employees, there is nothing you can do until you pay.
My company has done many hundreds of thousands of successful transactions over the last few years and we have 75 bad reviews on this site. We look like a horrible company there because I have refused to pay the $10k+ per month they want to make us look better.
How is this legal?!
I had an absolutely horrible experience with a business and left a review explaining my poor experience. It was removed within a week with no explanation. I would not trust a review or a rating from them as they remove at least some of the negative reviews.
ResellerRatings.com is an unethical company, plain and simple. You either have to pay hundreds of dollars for them to address repeated bad reviews (exact same bad review posted multiple times), or you have no choice but to leave them there, even when the fake reviews clearly go against their stated policies (no duplicates allowed, yeah, right). It's a joke of a review site, much worse than Yelp, and I wouldn't recommend for anyone to take their reviews seriously.
Tip for consumers:
Don't trust the reviews on ResellerRatings.com. The owners are scamming businesses and the reviews are not legitimate.
This store excels in the area of promoting e-commerce. Too many people these days just do not take seriously the opportunity they have to shop online retailers. But this site takes consumers and builds their confidance in e-commerce.
We need more sites that help people have a more trustworthy attitude about buying online. True there is a risk, but these days crooks are stealing info even in the check out lines.
This site is a must stop and see before going shopping online!
I've heard an account with ResellerRatings since last year, I made a review about a company which I really liked their services. I decided to check recently and there's no feedback, I don't even know whether anyone has seen my review since then. They don't show review stats and that's poor, I don't know how many people saw my review
If you see a 8.5 or better, you'll be happy. That's based on my experience.
I do see some complaints that RS "skews" ratings for $, though that is not my experience I know that this is happening on other websites, so that does make me wonder and a bit more leery.
Trustpilot is here to help you shape and improve the world. We do it by giving you a powerful, open-to-all review platform where you can share and discover experiences, and connect with businesses to help them improve.
Resellerratings.com is the most trusted review site. I personally follow this site to get review regarding any brand or new products and till now I found this site very useful and all the reviews are very perfect. I always recommend people to use this site for any kind of review.
Probably the top review site for online stores, with more than 20k stores reviewed at the time of writing. Long established and trustworthy, with a solid policy of keeping spammers and phony reviews out of the system.
Better than SiteJabber? In some ways. Much more mature, of course, and it shows. However, the reviews here are for online businesses only, whilst SiteJabber - at least at the time of writing - puts up with us writing a bunch of stuff about pretty much anything, anywhere.
Definitely one to check out as part of any serious research into an online dealer's reputation.
Online Store Ratings of Best and Worst - This company is comrehansive in their posting of customer reviews on online stores. With all the scams online, this web site helps to weed it out based on input from customers. When you click on a store name, it will take you to a URL which gives more details about the store you are researching.
Every time when I decide to try some new websites, I search the Internet for suggestions and opinions. Got many helpful tips from this website and avoided some scams successfully. Very helpful.
