on 11/14/15I would recommend getting these things:
Recommended amounts of calcium, Vitamin D3, and some magnesium if needed for the calcium.
Do weight-bearing and/or resistance exercise regularly.
Get regular DXA scans to track your bone density. If it takes a dramatic drop, or steadily heads down over time, or if you experience an osteoporotic fracture (low-impact fracture) seriously discuss with a doctor knowledgeable about treating you and your osteoporosis.
Yes, eat dairy products and search online for other items high in calcium, take a calcium supplement 2x daily with Vitamin D3 2x daily, walk daily for a mile, use weights to exercise your arms, and talk to your family doctor or nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
