I like how Pearson is so easy to do and finish! It is a great program that i have used for years! It is an amazing program. I am so grateful for Savvas realize!
I can not even get over how bad this curriculum is. I would need way more room to go into full detail. Every aspect of this curriculum is awful. The homeschool bundle comes with ZERO answers to any of the problems or tests. The website is not user friendly at all. I never was able to figure it out despite spending hours of time devoted to it. I feel so bad for teachers or students who are forced to use this. I ended up sucking up the money and ordered a real math curriculum from bju press
Bro. I mean, come on. The e-book takes up to one hour to load. The whole site feels like it's going to crash any second. My e-book is loading while I am writing this. Mind you, refreshing the page makes it start all over again, so don't bother to try.

I would rate this a 0 star review if I could. This is wayyyy too slow and the equations are very hard and are probably ai generated. For homework, gives 40 questions with 5 parts each as if I don't have other classes.
This crappy $#*! website sometimes makes me wanna die. Everybody I know is failing algebra because of this. I feel horrible for all the teachers, students, and parents being forced to pay and learn from this $#*!.

The website is slow, even with a good computer or internet, the second guess is always wrong, even when correct, and allows people to retake a question without the knowledge of the organizer. It is just strait up horrible. 0/5 if possible

I remember using this website back in 5th grade. My classmates and I spent a lot of time in class using this website. It gave me time to realize what this website was really about. It's not just about "learning," it's about torturing every user, and watching them fail miserably. Don't waste your money on this product. Get Khan Academy or StudySync instead of this garbage.

I'm surprised this company's reputation isn't already down the drain.

If I could do a 0 star review, I would. This company is terrible. It has to low of a curriculum and it is terrible. In all of my life, I've never seen a worse math reviewer than Success maker. More like failmaker. So all in all NEVER use success maker I'm a good person and I don't like the math business.

If I could 0 stars I would. It was a waste of my school year using Savvas is class. It would take forever to load so time in class would be wasted. When we would go on a different tab on our computers it would kick us out so we would have to go through the whole process again. I would not recommend.
Tip for consumers:
It was just bad all around.

Its just bad. Nothing about it is intuitive, the reading is limited, annotation tools suck and the curriculum is bad. As a student, it makes me mad seeing school districts wasting needed cash on useless programs like this when a book would suffice. Worst part is, THEY GIVE US A BOOK WITH EVERYTHING IN IT...
And dont let us use it...

Most of the time I am stuck on s loading screen for about 30s-1m every time I click on somthing this makes it really hard to get my work done half of the time I always get homework because it is just to annoying to use and makes no sense. Sometimes when I press finsh it still says in progress and I can't turn it in. My progress also has not saved before.

This is coming from a student btw, but the math questions that are made by the company also frequently have mistakes, and the image editing (like during projects) is actual GARBAGE. It's extremely slow and laggy, you can't copy and paste the text, it's also extreme hard to CLICK on the text, and it takes a really long time to load for no reason?

Savvas sucks we all know that, It looks like I made it. It is so outdated that I saw info about MP3 PLAYERS in our Savvas books. ( digital versions of the books are also available on the website) The first MP3 player was created in 1998, in my opinion, the iPhone (which was released in 2007) is when MP3 players died, let's assume that the year that I saw it (2023) was the year they removed it still would have taken them SIXTEEN YEARS to get rid of it. But they probably haven't, and if they still have extremely outdated information, It is not a stretch to assume that most of the other information is outdated.

Savvas is so bad, like what the heck, the questions are so hard and extremely slow. Questions usually don't create to the questions on the book. Help me.
Tip for consumers:
This site is horrible for both teachers, and students. This causes frustration in the classroom and most school districts obligate the teachers to use Savvas realize. This makes everything's bad and causes hostility between students and teachers. On top of that, the autograde doesn't give partial answers, and teachers have to waste time overriding the grades.

As an 8th grader currently using Savvas in class, I must say that while Savvas does a decent enough job as a tool for teacher review and student work submission, there are some glaring issues.
Primarily, Savvas is excessively slow and sluggish, as it takes a full minute or so to load any given lesson. It slows down even more right after school, which I can only guess is because of increased site traffic. I will often spend a good 7 minutes solving a complicated one-part geometry question, only to hit "Check answer" and get it caught in a buffering loop, forcing me to reload the tab and have to answer a new question.
Savvas is not capable of being the primary learning source. Its "View an example" and "Help me solve this" buttons are great, but only once the student understands the lesson. Our teacher makes sure to go through the lesson and 5 examples of the lesson before assigning homework to us on Savvas.
Overall, while a great improvement from the previous resource my school used, Assistments, Savvas Realize is not a great classroom resource. It is, however, a good way of checking student answers and ensuring understanding of the lesson. I can't help but feel that pencil & paper would be faster, though, with how uselessly slow this website is.

My class uses this for science, mostly the e-text content. It's a little hard to navigate, but the lessons are OK. I don't really like that you have to "download to complete activity" when the lesson requires drawing or modelling. I'm one of the only students in my class that can actually figure out complete the activity when I download it. I understand that the site is probably being used a lot for distance learning at the moment, but I would really appreciate if they could include a draw function when the lesson includes drawing... I mean they include an annotate and comment function with four different highlighter colors but not a draw function?!
Still a good learning tool.

I read a lot of these reviews and at first was agreeing with everyone's sentiment that savvas is terrible. I am experiencing everything you are. Then I thought about it, I have used this for 5 years...Why have I used it so long if it is that bad? 1. cause the school I work for pays for it lol. But 2. I need examples of the math subject I am teaching. There are certain topics I know to stay away from but there are topics I have no idea how to relate to real world examples. This does a great job at that. I will agree the online component is annoying at times because the answer will be 1100 for example and Ill have a student see on their calculator 1`100 and put it in and get the wrong answer. That's frustrating for me and them. Also some of the wording is bad but overall a solid product that can help guide you when it comes to what you should and could teach and in which order.
Tip for consumers:
If you can, get access to 6 through 8th grade curriculum (even if you only teach 8th grade math for example). This will allow you to have the practice problems you need for multiplying decimals for example from the 6th grade curriculum. Its very helpful to have access to all of it. Using the teacher's edition is really helpful also.

This program is generally helpful. I mostly gave it three stars because it over-explains the concept, which is an amazing problem to have. Occasionally there is, however, no correct answer on multiple choice tests. As far as helping me understand concepts goes, Savvas Realize is a good program. Unfortunately, the bads outweigh the goods at times.
