I have been trying for two weeks to cancel my professional Amazon sellers account but cannot get help. Can you tell me how to accomplish this task

I would complain to the AG for Washington and copy Customer service.
Worst case (if you can) set up a new bank account.
You will be extremely lucky if you get a real person to speak with you. Good luck.
