I have been on this dating site for a bit. I have likes, reviews, and messages that I can't see. It's sad that you have to pay to see who likes you and who sent you a messages. I have been on other dating sites, at least they let you see who message you for free. I want to stay on this site, but looks like I will be deleting myself off this site

I paid for 6 month membership on 4 May, and still have not received my membership! I have sent 5 request for membership update so I can read and send messages to members! BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!
Please check the demographics in your city before joining this site. Profiles limited to less than 30 in my area. Some of them seem to be generated fraudulently with pics and profile info interchangeable. Perhaps they know just how much a Senior would like to meet someone special. Kind of predatory if you really want the truth. Some dreams of love never grow old.
Another BPM scammer. Now this is a new one. Male from MS wrote and sounded sincere and we exchanged numbers. He was gentlemanly at first and sounded like he wanted to have a friendship to extend into a relationship. Boy what a con and I do mean CON like felon. There were several things that did not seem natural during the time of our correspondence, but I thought I would get all the facts before I packed it in. Listening to all his jargon I checked and found several cases of bad checks and court cases. Later I found out he had been arrested by the US Marshals. I found the newspaper and the video clip from a news station where he had violated his probation. It was a first violation and the sentence was suspended. I have not mentioned it what I found out about him, but all of a sudden he dropped off the radar. Said he had a business and I did find that information to be true. Is there any man out there who is true and honest.
I paid for a membership with "senior black people meet" as they advertised specifically African American Seniors. The creators of this site asked questions about my likes, wants, education, interests, etc. The men suggested in my inbox were not the answer to my interests other than being Black and male. As I was touching pictures on this site, and answering some question posed by the site manager, I mistakenly clicked on an area that was for renewal. Being dissatisfied thus far, I had no intention of renewing. I tried to contact the site manager but to no avail. Before I could stop the transaction, it had already gone through and I couldn't get a refund. I have never seen a transaction go through so quickly. The creator and manager must be very "hard up" for I'll gotten money. I took my profile down and deleted everything else. I am very, very dissatisfied! Please don't waste your time nor your money.
"Total scam". Prior to becoming a paid member you are sent all these flirts every day. Once I became a paid member, the views, flirts and messages stopped immediately. As someone stated people that are monitoring this site (Administrators) are sending flirts to the new members (never actual messages, so watch for that) in an attempt to get you to sign-up. When it was close to renewal it picked back up again. One of the flirts was sent by the site Administrator and the user name was "Lisinopril". Guess they were running out of creative user names.
I hit a button and dont even know which one and my account was debited. I want my money back. It ain't nothing on there I want a subscription for. Now I have to call the bank because you cant get through to them.
I'm trying another month on SBPMM. It's turning out to be the same as my first month. The same men all looking like my father. Yes I'm a senior, but most of these men, though my age, remind me of my father. I think I'm fairly attractive, but once I joined, I didn't get many hits. Makes me wonder what's going on. I will not join again!
The flirts sent are NOT sent by any of the actual users!
They are sent by the site's Administrator, to fool you into believing that you are being contacted by users.
When I responded to a flirt that I believed had been sent to me by a user --who had already "sent" me several messages, including an initial flirt, I became suspicious.
My suspicions were confirmed, when his reply to my question mark response was "I'm not sending you these flirts... I don't know what's going on... SMH."
I canceled my renewal and deleted my account.
I will dispute ANY/ALL credit card charges if I see ANY charges dated after the one month payment period.
I had some success with Black People Meet, but when I got on again, I was getting hits from too many youngish guys. Hence, I decided to try SENIOR Black People Meet. There was a big drop off in quality from the one site to the senior site. A bunch of really old, tired, overweight guys wearing baseball caps, wifebeaters, and scraggly beards. Got off of there quickly.
Horrible site. Will not let you cancel your subscription. Says to go to account settings and then account settings is unavailable. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM! You will regret it. They hold you hostage and won't let you cancel your account. Unbelievable.
Tip for consumers:
Stay away. Far away. Do not waste your money or your time. Terrible company. Just takes your money and then ignores requests to cancel account.

This site seems to be a complete and utter fraud!
Seems like someone with "ADMIN privileges" are sending most of the flirts and messages. The conversations never go anywhere and end with something like:"Good luck in your search..." There are tons of faded decades old pictures... The profiles are mostly dull and seem to have been written by the same person. I get the impression that most of the profiles are fake: they get a few pictures of some woman and quickly write down a few clichés for profile. Black women are extremely diverse, but somehow that diversity is missing on this site.
I have had telephone conversations with two or three different women, but upon reflection, they all seem to have been the same person with the same outlook and the same use of language, saying basically the same thing! The same old faded pictures show up again and again, and the 20,30 or even 40 year old pictures rotate in a sad and dreary never ending circle.
Could this be just a weird coincidence? Could I be wrong?
I don't think so!
SBPM is basically most of the older women from BPM, so there are very low expectations for meeting new interesting women. The funny thing about this site is reading the profiles of these women, and how bad they slam the men that they've run across on this site. Speaking from the male point of view, there are so many women on here that need to get the hell off that site, and never get on a dating website again! You have so many women on there that want to send you those worthless flirts, and as soon as you say hello to them, they run and hide like silly $#*! teenagers. And don't get me started on the ones who haven't changed that one profile pic that was taken back in the early 90's (if your age is listed as 54, I don't care about what you looked like at 30) I have blocked out a ton of silly $#*! women on there, but the truth is that SBPM is just like BPM! They run your profile thru the daily rotation so you can get a lot of views and flirts, and as soon as you subscribe to them, those views and flirts slows waaaaaaay down. So I would advise you to just try the one month subscription ( it's way cheaper than match.com and delightful) and see where it goes from there. Just make sure to keep expectations very low...
Biggest mistake I ever made. Only 20 or 30 men to choose from. I asked for a refund. I didn't get an answer. Ladies Beware!
