The user submitted design aspect is what drives me back over and over. I have purchased 50 plus shirts from this store and each one has been printed on American Apparel and used a very soft Ink. No problems with wash out or bad shirt stock. There shipping times are very slow 2-3 weeks sometimes, but for 10 bucks shipped (on there daily shirt) or 15 for previous designs its a good deal.
Shirts have been hit and miss on sizing - nothing uniform about them. Ordered the correct sizes the first time - too large. Ordered second set of shirts (different shirt) and they ran two sizes two small... extreme shrinkage. Customer Service at Woot - To Bad so sad... not our problem - what piss poor customer service, they really don't want to keep their clients now do they...

After many years of complaints and undelivered orders they finally switched companies for international orders. What used to take around 3 weeks with about a 25% chance of no delivery. Now takes about 3-4 days.
I had been with woot for 8 years and I used to love the site, but lately it has been full of issues and the company just doesn't care. They ship with a company that has no accountability and when your order does not arrive they make you wait until they can no longer fulfill your order to do anything. Recently I had a couple orders not get delivered though the woot website displayed they were delivered. My email to woot customer service explaining I was not happy to continue to see shirts listed as delivered when they had not been, was met with sarcasm as I was told woot only ships the shirts they don't deliver them (as if I were a moron). I was told by another CS rep that they had the shirt in stock and I could have a new shirt sent out to me. When I responded that I wanted the shirt and not a refund a different CS rep tole me I had to wait another 3-4 weeks before they would send a new shirt. When the time came I requested to have the shirt sent again they said they were out of stock and refunded just the cost of the shirt so that I would be unable to get another shirt. For a company that prints its own shirts it is just a an insult to not fulfill the customer orders. I sent another email to CS and it has been ignored so I am done with them, I have been burned too many times in too short of a time frame.
If you live outside the US please be aware they can and will rip you off!

Tip for consumers:
its a crap shoot on the t-shirt... hit and miss - more misses lately -
Shirt. Woot is the only place I buy my t-shirts. I love the soft fabric and that the girls sleeves are longer than the standard girl's cut, which are usually only an inch or two long from the seam. On the rare occasion there was an issue, they have always set it right, ensuring my continued business. The extensive designs they have available makes me always look forward to buying more.
I've been a Shirt. Woot customer almost since the beginning and have over 100 of their shirts. For the first several years they were a consistent source of cool, geeky, creative designs; albeit with probably a somewhat guy-geek leaning. I don't know if it correlates exactly with the Amazon purchase but a few years ago I saw a significant change in the quality and style of their designs as well as a very significant drop in the quality of the actual shirts. The designs became much more "cutesy" and female oriented or were just trendy-geeky and the shirts became much lighter weight with wider, lighter collars, looser sleeves and are cut at least an inch shorter than they used to be. I'm 6'6", 280 lbs. and they used to fit very well and now they're darn near belly shirts. My last purchase was about six months ago and I don't see myself making any further purchases there which is sad considering my history with them.
I agree with negative reviews stating the site has given up. Had trouble with the sizing of the shirt received, even though we measured 3 times just to be sure, according to their size chart. I told them this in an email and the response I got back was basically sorry, there's nothing we can do and that they provide a size chart on their page. Ooookay.
The website states to order the shirts larger because they tend to run small. So I ordered a large shirt for my wife instead of the usual medium that she gets. The large shirt arrived and was way too large (more like an xl or "plus size" in womens sizes). They wouldn't exchange the shirt for a different size because they stated that the size chart is posted online (and I did consult it before ordering). I understand that that's the risk of ordering online, but it's still bad customer service to advise someone with incorrect information about their product.
I ordered several T-shirts from shirt.woot.com a few days ago. When they arrived, three of the shirts were huge, even though they were all supposed to be the same size. However, apparently they are switching between printing companies at the moment, so some of the shirts are in the old company's sizes, and some are in the new company's sizes. The website doesn't state that there is a difference in the sizing of the clothes. You have to look at the sizing chart for each t-shirt, even though the sizes are supposed to be universal.
When I first contacted them, they basically told me that they would not refund my money or do an exchange. I contacted them a second time, and was able to get them to make an exception. They are going to be sending me the shirts in the correct size.
If you choose to make purchases on woot.com, be very careful because they basically will not allow you to return products. It is only the rare exception that they will allow.
I just got a shirt of the same design I had from 9 years ago and the older shirt has a more vibrant and better print quality even after washes than the one I just received. Even the shirt color is better on the old one. The shirts on the left in the photos are the original 9 year old shirts. The right images on the shirts are from what I just opened in the mail today. (Not sure why it rotates one of the photos) This seems to be a problem with companies switching from American Apparel. Threadless and RedBubble have similar problems.
Woot is an amazing company! My artist name is Milasneeze and I am one of the many artist that has had the pleasure of working with Shirt Woot. I am also a customer of Woot. From both an artist/customers perspective, they are super fair and 100% trustworthy. It also doesn't hurt that the quality of their shirts are phenomenal. Bottom line, awesome company. Thanks woot! 10/10
I'm a size medium woman across the board, assuming the clothing line isn't super odd. These shirts were, first and foremost, atrocious in odor and literally stunk up the house (we have to go to a laundry mat, so they couldn't be washed right away). Besides that, they're dismally short for the torso, and weirdly flare towards the bottom of the shirt, like it's supposed to be form fitting for women, but ends up just being... loose. So in all, I look like I'm wearing a large kid's shirt: loose on the body but for the breasts, barely reaches waist. It's not nice to look at, and since there's no genuine defect, I can't return them. Boo. My friend and boyfriend both got shirts there and besides the initial odor, didn't have similar size problems. Methinks woot.com needs to follow more standard female sizing.
I have been ordering from this site for years. I have too many tees to count and this site use to be such a fun, cool, place to shop. I couldn't complain when they tacked on tax but when they started doing thd flat shipping fee they lost me. I was a by one shirt impulsively shopper with the $5 I've totally stopped my impulse buys and even hesitate my multi buys because one $10 shirt is affordable two plus tax and $5 shipping well that quite a bit more.
I finally did make a purchase though. One shirt was fine the other the print was very faded. It already looked like it had been through the wash a dozen times. I wrote them and they said if it's not defective, damaged, or the wrong shirt you're out of luck. And here I thought a company that makes printed t-shirts for a living would actually care what their printed t-shirts look like. I guess Shirt Woot no longer does. My guess they are using a cheaper printing process that makes the print look faded and grainy. I just haven't noticed because I haven't ordered anything in so long. It's sad for the artists who design such great shirts because this company has really lost all of it's integrity. I probably won't be buying again unless their is a sale and it's something I've really wanted. The quality otherwise doesn't contend with their $16 price tag.
One t-shirt design each day.
$10/shirt +$5 shipping = $15 total
Similar to the regular woot site:
Limited quantities available & only available for 1 day
Great site to find a random/cool shirt.
Each shirt design is changed each day. The designs are usually from a t-shirt designer that they normally use, but sometimes the designs are created actual woot users.
shirt.woot.com always has something called a 'DERBY' that goes on. A derby is basically a t-shirt design contest. Each derby has a theme, and thus the design must correspond with that derby's theme. For example, a theme previously used was, "Text as Art". People sent in their interpretation of that theme. Registered woot'ers can create and turn in designs. The vote also goes to registered woot'ers as well. They determine who will be the top 3 shirt designs, and those are the shirts that will be sold.
The 'Reckoning' is a list of previously sold shirts that have expired its 24hour mark. You can still buy these shirts, but for $15/shirt instead of the $10.
I've bought a couple of $#*!s and the quality of shirt itself is great. They use American Appeal shirts.
I've order from them a few times and have always been happy. Fast shipping and a good selection.
