I placed an on line order in March 2022 and paid in full at that time. I checked their on line status periodically over the next several months. By May it showed complete and ready to ship. It remained in that mode for over a month. I contacted their customer service multiple times and they assured it me it would ship by mid June. Here we are in July and the item still posts as preparing to ship. Since their furniture ships from somewhere in Asia there is no telling if and when the item will ever arrive. When I asked for a refund over a week ago they assured me it would ship the next day. Liars and scam artists. Avoid at all costs!

Amazing chairs and a great price for the quality. You would be hard pressed to find custom chairs any where near the price. Great communication, pictures sent at each stage of construction and packed likes eggs were shipped in the box. We are so happy.
We love our new buffet. Found out it is Indian Rosewood. Everybody that sees it says "WOW'
Took a while to get it because of the virus but well worth the wait. The service was excellent always kept us posted on the construction. Sent pictures as it was being made, very helpful. When it was delivered we were astonished how well it was packaged. Very pleased and might get myself a dining set to match.

I would have liked the option to give zero stars for this review. I ordered 6 months prior to needing the furniture. I was told by their sales rep it would arrive in 10-12 week. After chasing them for days, I have just been informed the furniture will not arrive for another MONTH! SIX MONTHS and STILL no furniture. Adam is a useless, nasty U.S. "customer service representative." What a joke.

Check on the progress REGULARLY. Don't rely on the "customer portal" to give accurate information. The portal told me shipping labels were generated March 11th. I guess they were prepared for when the furniture was ready.

So, here's the update . . . after ordering 6 months ago and being told I would receive a large table, 10 chairs and a blue hall bench/storage unit in 10-12 weeks, I had nothing. And, there was no communication about WHEN I might receive the items. When I started making inquiries and was told delivery was another 6 weeks out, I cancelled. Sierra Living Concepts gave me a full refund. But I need a table to seat 10 by May 1, so I'm still pretty stressed about that.
They take all the money up from, then keep you waiting for 5 or 6 months.
The customer support is from India where they never answer any questions of give any information on the status of the order. Horrible Horrible Company, they are not listed on the Better Business Bureau because they would be shut done in just a few months.

Ordered for TV stand. Looks great…. But the quality is less than expected. The doors warp in or out, see pictures. The finish is cracking at almost every joint and missing at the side trim areas. I was going to order matching police that has a hutch but wouldn't pay the price for this quality of furniture.

I ordered a bedroom set from Sierra Living Concepts (bed, two side tables, men's dresser and a woman's dresser). If you are here then you know that you pay handsomely for this furniture.
The drawers on my dressers and side tables will not close properly unless pushed very, very hard. Sierra living sent me some cheesy wax set from Amazon.
More importantly, when I was moving my movers pointed out that my bed frame was cracked and broken. I took pictures and sent them to Sierra Living's Customer Service and they responded with a comment that the bed frame was damaged as a result of the move.
I was very, very disappointed that they did not even send anyone to have a look at anything that is going on. I totally regret investing in this furniture. I will never purchase anything from this company again.

I just find it unbelievable that when you charge what Sierra Living does for furniture that they would not have better accountability and customer service. Lesson learned - the hard way.

I wish I had found these other reviews before ordering from Sierra Living Concepts. I ordered a bed frame back in Sept. And was told it would arrive in 8-10 weeks, in time for Christmas. Now I am told it will take a minimum of 17-18 weeks to arrive. Knowing this upfront I would have taken my business elsewhere.

They took full payment upfront, after that start a long trail of emails n phone calls. My order which was king bed took 7 months to delivery because they did not manufacture item in US rather then they got it from india. Ya! After months and months of waiting for the furniture, it got here some was damaged but the wood started cracking, last winter ( not from dry heat). It's very brittle and pencil and pen marks all over. It is very sturdy but it's cracking, screws in the hinges of the chest are breaking off for no reason. A very nice lady named Nancy helped alot but a woman named Jenny was a true bitc... The junk wood these under paid craftsman from India is $#*!. Cracks in the five drawer chest and eight drawer dresser are everywhere. Don't buy from this piss poor company. Yours Truly Chad Benson

However, I ordered on 9/13 and the delivery time is supposed to be 12 weeks. We are now at 16 Weeks and 4 Days and I still have no ETA on my order. CS just keeps telling me to be patient. I am frankly done with being told to be patient. 4 weeks past confirmed delivery date and counting is not good customer service, and regardless of the quality of the pieces I MAY eventually receive, it is not worth it to tie up this kind of money for this long, with nothing to show for it.

This is the third time we have ordered from this company. We keep coming back because of the unique selection of beautiful Sheesham furniture. We were impressed with their new tracking system which enabled us to watch and provide feedback from the very beginning of the building of our furniture (in India), and then tracking our shipment from India to our home. We knew where our pieces were at all times.
It is hard for me to write this negative review about Sierra Living Concepts because I really want to like them.
1) The good: They make beautiful stuff
2) The Bad: Once you pay them, all customer service goes to India, which is spotty.
3) The Ugly: I sat down in a chair the first 2 weeks and it cracked. THERE WERE NO METAL BRACKETS ON THE CHAIRS, IT WAS HELD TOGETHER BY GLUE.
Granted I am not a small guy, (225 lbs) but come on.
I complained and they offered to send me two chairs, I opted for 1 chair and a bench.
So, they sent us a replacement chair and bench
1) the chair still didn't have metal brackets/braces under it
2) the Bench came with no instructions on assembly and the bolts were too long, it is obvious that they didn't try to put it together before sending it to me.
When I complained again, they offered to refund $150, that was back in March, and they haven't sent it yet and they now ignore my emails.
It took 21 weeks to get our conference table not the quoted 8-10. We ordered nothing special, it was a standard dining table straight off the website. We never saw "in process" work until we asked for pictures. As we began to question the delay in delivery, we got canned responses from India suggesting it was because of the high quality of their workmanship not poor organization, understaffed production, or materials issues that were more likely the real problem. Twice, 3 weeks apart, we were told the table would be shipped in their very next cargo container. It wasn't until we began asking for a refund that things began to actually move. It was shipped on an ocean freighter so the shipping alone took a month. Well, it finally arrived yesterday and while pretty (not gorgeous) it was not worth the wait. The stain is uneven on the edges (one side is significantly lighter than the other) and it's not sealed with a polyurethane coating. Maybe being more "natural" is cooler, but it's got to be susceptible to water rings etc so coasters will be mandatory. Overall, I wouldn't do it again. Wish I'd ordered the Wayfair table instead.
We ordered two buffet cabinets from Sierra Living Concepts which were made to our own custom dimensions. 84"L X 22.5"W X 45"H and 36"'Lx 22.5"W x 36H".
Our order was placed around the middle of January 2021 and our furniture was delivered on June 13,2021. Yeah, It was a very long wait but we expected as much with Covid restrictions and it being shipped from India. Also, I was initially very concerned about having to pay the entire order amount of several thousand dollars up front... what they don't accept deposits?... but I rolled the dice and placed the order anyway because of the reviews they had, and they were going to custom build exactly what we wanted. The communication process from the time we ordered until the items were shipped and delivered is excellent in spite of Covid. What was reassuring is that I got notified several times by email that there are pics available. I just clicked on the link and it took me to several photos of my furniture as it was being built, through each phase of construction. Again communication and customer service were outstanding from the people here in the US and those in India I corresponded with.
The two pieces of furniture were delivered two days ago and they both are stunning, and very well made. This stuff will last for generations. It really was worth the wait. I'd order from them again without hesitation.

Update... The first message, email and phone call were not answered but when I tried calling again later that evening, finally got in touch with customer service. She took my information and sent it to someone else to process my refund, which I had within a week. She explained the backup at the ports, which I understand but still doesn't make up for the false/incorrect information on the website. Maybe they updated the delivery time but when I placed my order, it said 9 weeks. She also told me my furniture was coming from Indonesia, which is not stated anywhere on my order otherwise I would have never bought from them knowing what a cluster the ports are these days. My order update had been saying for several weeks that my furniture was in port awaiting unloading but it would still need to go through customs and then delivery so no idea how much longer it would have taken. I just wish this company was more straightforward with where the furniture is coming from and what the actual delivery times would be then there would not be so many upset people leaving bad reviews! They did ask me to come back on this site and update my review after I got my money back. In that regard, they were good to their word and I received a full refund without much hassle once I spoke to customer service.
I placed an order for a dresser and 2 nightstands in early April. Didn't even see that the delivery time was estimated for 9 weeks otherwise I wouldn't have ordered from them to begin with or the fact that this furniture was coming from overseas knowing the difficulty of getting things shipped. Well, it's almost September and my furniture is still listed as in port! I wrote them last week to ask for an update but nothing. I am going to call to cancel as we have been several months with no furniture! I too wish I had found these reviews so I could have stayed away from this company. Buyer beware!

Your furniture is coming from overseas and getting things shipped is a logistical nightmare so you might want to find furniture that is already in the states to buy. Would be better if they already had pieces in the states for sale rather than doing everything as custom order!

If you are looking to purchase custom high quality wood furniture, take 5 minutes to read this review. After much research and reading lots of reviews, we decided to go with Sierra Living Concepts for a custom size buffet (side bar) and custom size dining room set with chairs for 10. Initially the total cost seemed high but when compared to the cost at furniture stores, the price at Sierra Living was fair given the high quality it was known for.
The ordering process with easy. We were able to talk to the sales representative on several occasions (email and phone) who was pleasant and very helpful. We received sample stains to help us decide on the color. Once we made our order, we received confirmation and access to our customer portal. This was very helpful and was the method for receiving updates on our furniture, viewing pictures at different stages and to ask questions. We received responses within 24 hours. We were extremely satisfied with the level of communication and progress of the furniture build. We were told that it would 3 to 4 months before we receive our furniture. The delivery came sooner, just short of 3 months.
We were able to track the shipment and it arrived at the port according to the expected date. At this point, everything was going very well. Thinking about what could go wrong, we were anxious about the shipping and delivery and potential damage. Within a few days or arriving at the port, we were contacted by the delivery company with an estimated date for delivery. The company that delivered our furniture was very professional, took care of our pieces and gave me some tips on how to unpack the furniture. We did not select the white glove delivery option and we were able to unpack and move the furniture pieces into the house with some help from our neighbors.
We were absolutely amazed with how Sierra Living packaged our furniture. It was very obvious that they took great care and wanted the furniture to be delivered free of any dents, scratches or other damages. There were multiple layers of protection, securely packaged and placed on pallets. We were just amazed and honestly taken back by the great condition of our furniture. No dents, no scratches…we were thrilled. The quality of all our pieces far exceeded our expectations…just beautiful. The customer service was excellent. It was an incredible total experience and worth the money. Any future orders will be with Sierra Living Concepts.
