The size chart was very accurate and the color of the dress was exactly what was online. I had to switch the size chart bc Im planning on losing weight but within a day of sending it back, free of charge, they shipped the new size! Definitely will use them again.
The dress I ordered was supposed to be for curvy gals. It wasn't, but I might have been able to remedy with more time. My big beef with them was that they don't refund your purchase. Store credit only. Will not shop there again.

Terrible return policy. My daughter ordered several dresses from different stores and went past the 7 day return policy by 9 days on a $300 dress. No exceptions. The other places we purchased from had excellent customer service and worked with me. I will never order from Simply Dresses again and will def spread the word.

This website needs to include a better size range for plus sized girls. Put in the measurements and it said no sixes found?! Absolutely unacceptable caused a whole upset tears and really killed confidence. Will not recommend or buy from until they are more inclusive of ALL sizes.

Don't purchase from this company. I ordered bridesmaids dresses and it looks like I will only be receiving them days before my wedding which leaves me no room to adjust sizing if I need to exchange. When purchasing it said dresses were in stock and now they are back ordered. Customer service was unhelpful and unwilling to expedite shipping without a hefty cost.
Unfortunately the dresses selected were not in stock, but instead listed as "Due to Ship: Sep 21,2018." These items must be specially ordered from the manufacturer. Based on the latest update from the designer, it should have been available to ship on the date provided. Sure they charge a 10% restocking fee, but dress boutiques don't accept returns at all! My teens will order a couple of dresses for events such as prom or homecoming. They try them on and we return the ones they don't want. It's worth that 10% to not have to drive all over from store to store wasting gas and time trying on dresses in snobby dress shops.
If you don't want to lose 10% of your order stay away from this company.
Dresses are made in China and obviously for Asian body types. So you give them a try and order a dress then realize that these dresses don't fit you. You return the order and pay 10%.
Customer service proudly announce that you may have a store credit without paying restore fee. Why?!?! Why I need your store credit if your dresses don't fit me anyway?
And also it's been already a week - I'm still waiting for the refund!

I'm looking for a Mother of the Groom dress. I received the dress from Simply and was unsure due to the stiff itchy laced arms. Unfortunately I didn't note the return policy, 7 days, really!
This dress is still new and for sale on the site at the same purchase price. They refuse to work with refunding this dress. I will never purchase from here again and highly recommend others don't as well. Sometimes dress decisions take longer than 7 days!

They have a terrible return policy. Bought a dress that was store credit only for returns. Tried to return it within the ridiculous time frame but they said ineligible. By the time I got a chance to call them as I work long hours they would not help me and did not seem to care. There are much better sites out there.
I'm not complaining about the guy that helped me to make my return. I didn't know about the 10 percent of restocking fee they take from your refund of EACH dress and also the charge you the shipping label of the return. The information of the site is not clear. I bought 2 dresses so my daughter could choose. They should have free shipping and free returns as another sites like amazon. This are CLOTHES! And they need to be try them. This company changes the return policy on their website to suit their needs. It has changed twice since I ordered my dress.
They would not take my damaged dress back because I did not ship it within 5 DAYS! What kind of return policy is that? Even though I sent them photos 2 days after receiving it.
Our return policy has only been updated one time since December 2018 and this change was to offer free return shipping.
Your order was delivered on 12/17/18. The return authorization number was requested on 12/17 with the reason of “Sizing Runs Small” provided at that time. We were then contacted on 12/20 stating there was an issue with sequins on two spots on this item, style LT-LD50510P. At that time, we offered a replacement or a return. You stated the dress couldn’t be sent back until 12/27 because of a Christmas holiday trip so an early replacement agreement was sent so the replacement could be sent right away instead. This option was not accepted because a replacement must be the same style and could not be replaced with the style you wanted, SY-ID2735EP. We stated on 12/21 that a new order would need to be placed if you wanted a different style and the style LT-LD50510P could be returned for a refund. As previously stated in that same email thread, it could be sent back on 12/27. The next contact received was an email on 1/15/19 but at that time it was too late to take the dress back as a return. Our policy stares the dress should be sent back within 5 days of receiving the return authorization number and return shipping label. These two were issued on 12/17 and should have been sent back by 12/27 as stated, which was already an exception. Unfortunately we are not able to accept this dress back as a return and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Make sure to read the fine print. They charge a restocking fee on returns and return shipping. I'm out over $50 for dresses that I didn't even get to wear. Also, the dress material is cheap and the dresses r over priced

Bought a seemingly beautiful dress from this site, and it was made out of the worst material ever. The 2 straps broke throughout the night, and because of their lame return policy I only got a 20% credit back to get it fixed locally. So now they expect me to pay more money for something that shouldn't of broke in the first place. Looks are deceiving. Do not buy anything from this company.

Received a dress that was missing an entire section of lace on a full lace back dress. Sent photos to the company, who argued that was supposed to look like this and refused a replacement. Obviously a scam operation, avoid this company at all costs!

Got my dress in the mail a couple days ago the sizing chart is WAYYYY off. Not able to return it do to their policy of one of a kind dresses fine print? Maybe they should take more than 1 days to make these. Not to mention the slit for it is in the center when it should be aided a touch according to the photo. If they are turkey one of a kind dresses they should ask for all measurements.

OMG! Where do I start?
I ordered my dress mid November 2016 with intentions of wearing it to an event on December 9,2016. I received the dress on November 28,2016, i was so excited! When I went to zip the dress down the zipper malfunctioned and would not budge. I contacted customer service on November 29 and they assured me that another would be shipped overnight on December 6,2016 (when the designer made another in my size). December 7, no dress! So I email customer service and they tell me that it won't be shipped until December 8 because the customer service agent didn't see my response email. I then speak with a supervisor 2 seconds later and she advised that there is no replacement available. You didn't know that on Monday? An email updating me on the status would've been nice.
Now I have to scramble to find a dress before tomorrow at 12:00 pm, but don't have the time.
I have never had an experience like this before... maybe it was just my luck:(

We had a horrible experience. We had a time constraint so I paid extra for 2 day delivery. I bought the dress on a Wednesday. It shipped out early Thursday morning. It not only did not get delivered Friday but it sat at the UPS site all day on Saturday too. I received it on Monday. I complained in an email and was told I would not receive any money back for quicker shipping that did not happen. When I told the manager how displeased I was he said he could not refund me the extra money I spent to have the dress shipped more quickly. I have never been treated like that. Customer service is exactly that, service, making sure the customer is happy. I intend to share this awful experience on social media to warn people about how rigid and uncaring this company is. They obviously do not care about having me return as a repeat customer.

I ordered a bridesmaids dress with the hopes it would be "the one", but the dress was not a good length fit to my surprise. The website specified the hem size in a separate window with the height of the model which was the same as my bridesmaids. The dress was too short on both of them so we had to return it. Restocking fee of $15 was waived as a courtesy but I was responsible for shipment fee which they charged me $50 USD. The shipment back only costed me $18 USD. I called simply dresses hoping they would be reasonable enough to at least reimburse me for half of the $50 dollars they charged me but they did not comply. I found the shipment fee incredibly expensive with no reasonable explanation. I was very unsatisfied with how they handled my experience and will never shop with them again.

The dresses I received from this company were lovely. HOWEVER. I was tricked by the small print about duty and tax.
After paying the cost of the dresses- which was not cheap, I then received a duty invoice for £93.53 2 weeks later.
This came as a surprise and, in hindsight, I wouldn't have ordered knowing I would be paying the additional amount.
I am a new customer unfamiliar with Simply Dresses refund policy of sending back items within 7 days of receipt. I asked Simply Dresses for an exchange, not even a refund and they denied my request. I will not be purchasing from them again.
They charge 10% restocking fee, even if they messed up the order and $8.00 return shipping. You only have 5 days to contact them for a return and will still get charged the above! Horrible return policy and horrible customer service!

We bought a dress a few months ago. It did not fit properly and we had to find another dress. The dress is brand new with the tags on it. The dress is still being sold on their site and I contacted them to return the dress for store credit and they said NO. We have absolutely no use for this dress and have NOT had a problem with any other companies such as LULU's! I would recommend you contact anyone else for your mail delivery dress that provides better service.

Sizing and make off apparently don't understand bust size, rest of dress perfect but top cut short in bodice and under arms and across bust line even after going bigger than guide returned and still had same problem in 2nd dress of larger size. Cute dresses however.
