If I could give zero stars I would have. The product was fine, I sprayed an entire kit with no issues. When I attempted to spray the second kit the hose burst and sprayed foam all over my house. It took 6 days for me to get a response from customer service and when I did they blamed me for their equipment failing, told me I was greedy for asking to be compensated, told me I was SOL and hung up on me. Worst company ever. Run, don't walk away from them!
If I had known then what i know now i would have saved myself money and a huge hassle and had a professional apply insulation, wound up spending more than twice what company originally stated job would cost and still job is not complete, kit failures are probably quite common and the resulting mess and disposal makes this product a very very bad deal.
$790 kit purchase halfway through the project gun clocks. Did everything in my power by following instructions to unclog it. In fear of burning too much more time, 30 minutes later called customer service their solution buy another $140 gun... Company is suspect it appears guns are designed to fail It was clogging throughout the process and I thought it was me in the way I was spraying I bought the second gun similar case on the first gun happened... Buyer beware use your American Express trust no one.

Green spray foam kit
I purchases 6 tanks of 602 foam, over $4500 worth, and when I got a bad bottle they would not help me out at all. They wanted me to buy another $300 tank. When I used all I had for a roof project and needed one bottle left to finish and start roofing, they would not even sell me another kit at full price. They said if I took down my reviews and wired money they would. The customer service is a joke and they are just trying to rip you off. Then they want to blackmail me to finish my job. STAY AWAY!
They state that they have 24/7 technical support. I had a problem with the spray gun on a Saturday. Called for support and got a recording where I could select to hear about their 9 most common problems. Mine was not one of them and was then given the option for leaving a message and having someone call me the next business day. When I was called on Monday and complained, I was told we don't claim that it is LIVE 24/7suport. Then the resolution I was given was so crazy, it was not worth it. Bottom line, about half of the product ($350 or so worth) is now worthless.
I purchased 3 of the 602 kits to spray on the under side of the roof decking in my house that was built in 2003 and has blown insulation in the attic. The first kit went on with no issues. The second kit however was not dispensing the "blue" chemical properly, so I used the third kit and contacted customer service. After about 10 days of trying different guns and 3 "HIss" tests, which involves opening the valve for 3 seconds which makes a huge mess, the CSR agreed that tank was defective and sent me an entire new kit which I had requested. There was evidently a defect with the tank that she had never seen before. By the way, the CSR was extremely nice and accommodating.
However, after completing the project the morning after receiving the replacement kit, the temperature in the attic was 130 deg F that afternoon. I'm an electrical contractor and many of the high end houses are insulated with open cell foam in the attics sprayed on the underside of the roof decking with great results. The attics are completely sealed with HVAC supply and returns located there. I wasn't going to completely seal the attic but was expecting there would be some benefit for the effort and expense.
While the product was easy to use and the CSR was helpful, it doesn't appear to be the right product for my application and was a waist of time and money.
I purchased two of the 602 kids. The first one went on very nicely and the foam hardened to touch within a minute of spraying it. However, when I went to apply the second kid, I had continual problems getting the a canister to put out enough product to balance the bee canister product. In other words even when I turned down the bee product pressure and even after spraying the nozzle open fully to try and get rid of any blockages in the bay tubing, and after agitating the hell out of a canister, I was getting intermittent goopy blue stuff out of the nozzle. I also hadProblems with the nozzles all leaking the yellow product but not to a large extent. My temperature range for application was between 77° and 81°F. I really cannot explain the problems. It must've been a blockage in the tubing or a blockage in the canister outlet itself. Or in the spray gun. I changed out nozzles repeatedly and applied the gasoline as directed. So the second kit brought my review level down otherwise I would've given in a higher review because the first kit went on very well
It looks like i was sent a returned kit, one that was returned because it was "unusable". I checked online and it all the reviews said it came with a mask, not an issue. I have my own and replacement cartridges i use for chemical vapor and paint. But the tank labeled part A was missing its valve, it seems to be sheared off, and is not in the box whatsoever, i had to break the "seal" sticker to open the box, so it seems intentional. As well as most of the "tips" floating around via holes in the bag?! Whats that about? That box was also sealed with a sticker. And the instructions, well I have to share these the book has "DONT DO THIS!" in red large letters on the front, as well as the "Foam it green" title. Then you turn and it has instructions labeled 1 and 2, then you turn the page and the center 2 pages are blank, then the last page has items 7 8 9 and 10 and the back cover has 4 5 6! WTF happened to 3? These are the "instructions" or rather "don't do this!" followed by "true tales from those who did not follow the instructions" so are these the instructions or not? And where the hell is the missing valve handle? I might be able to super glue it on, although I dont know how safe that is. Okay okay, ive had bad shipments, so give em some slack, I'll call them... voice mail says that if you are a customer that has recieved a kit, to call the other 800 number for 24 hour 7 day support! The number that was not included with my order of over 700 dollars?!?! Now im livid. I gave 2 starts, because they did call me the day after i ordered to confirm the address to which they were going to send me trash products, and the ease of which i was conned out of my money seems rather nice, dont you think?
I purchased the 602 Foam It Green Kit and had somewhat of a mixed experience. I bought the kit to spray foam a portion of my basement walls. I followed all directions exactly, including keeping the tanks at or near 75 degrees - i made sure the temperature in my house was right around 75 degrees for a week. On the day i planned to spray foam, i purchased a propane torpedo heater to make sure my basement was exactly 75 degrees - i had the heater on for 5 hours prior to spraying and i used an infrared temperature gun to make sure i had the right temperature.
When the temperature of the room was at 75 degrees, i brought down the tanks (they were in the upstairs at 75 degrees) and setup to start. When i went to start spraying, I tested the spray and the foam was coming out correctly at first, so i began to spray a couple of sections of my wall. Shortly into spraying, the foam started to turn bluish and then all blue. I stopped spraying and began to troubleshoot the issue. See attached pictures for the blue material sliding down the wall.
NOTE: I called the helpline immediately, which is marketed as being a 24/7 helpline. THIS IS NOT TRUE - their 24/7 customer service is an automated answering machine that only provides common solutions - i left a message and had to wait until the next day to speak with a customer service representative. This was very infuriating as i purchased the product under the assumption that i could call at off hours if need be - i am an accountant and do most of my home projects at night and on the weekends.
The next day, I spoke with a nice representative that informed me that the issue was most likely a clogged gun - she gave me instructions on how to unclog the gun. I did exactly as she said and significant foam was likely lost, which i do not believe was my fault as i had followed all of their instructions exactly.
Due to these issues, i ran out of blue foam and estimate that the kit under-performed by approx, 100 board feet of foam - this is a significant amount when the total foam is only 600 board feet.
However, once the foam started working correctly, it worked great and was easy to apply to my wall. It was much faster than installed foam board into my wall, which already had studs in place.
If i had not experienced any issues with their faulty spray gun, my experience would most likely have been 4 or 5 stars. However, i was extremely frustrated by the fact that I spent additional time and money to achieve the "perfect" spraying conditions, only to have their product malfunction.
I've added photos which show the initial issues where mostly the blue chemical was dispensing as well as a picture to show the spray foam, when working properly, of the wall, which ended up turning out pretty good.
