Their software does not work as intended. After contacting support, they tried to make excuses but clearly their description on their website are wrong and refused to acknowledge the application doesn't work as intended. Their website claims its 100% satisfaction guaranteed but upon wanting a refund, it became a nightmare. Finally, they agreed on a refund within 1 business day. Its now been 5 days and nothing has come through nor have they responded to my ticket.
I will also write a review on Glasses guide. Us IT professionals don't need this headache.

Their product does not as its intended for or for what its advertised about. And when for a refund they completely ignored my request.

Do not believe anything said on their website, and stay away from their products.

This paid software has only recovered less than 10% of the lost data from a hard drive that hasn't been overwritten, and the support from the tech is totally useless, I had to explained 3 times of the issue, and ended up with "nothing they can do", that's something I didn't expect from a 3 weeks waiting period.

I've never came across with such great vendors lately. It exactly gives idea of true business model. Long story in short, I've managed to recover 200 GB of lost files from external Seagate hard drive that failed abruptly using Stellar Phoenix Software for Windows (Priced at $100 USD).

Product performed well and recovered all of important files in less than 5 hours. That's pretty short for such large capacity drives. I'm really thankful to support team for their gentleness and not getting annoyed with the stupid questions.

I lost almost hundreds of photos from my Laptop hard drive. I had to do some "disk cleanup" and in the course, I lost my old memories which were preserved since very long time. I had no other backup and felt so helpless. Luckily, Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery recovered more than 95% of the images. Thank you!

I purchased their Exchange Recovery software 6 months ago and have still been unable to use it. The software is a download and must connect to their server to activate. I was not able to activate it. I tried their manual activation and they never replied to my many email attempts. They do not issue refunds, even though their website clearly says you have a 30 day money back guarantee. They then claim that is only valid if their support is unable to offer you help. They do offer help in the form of emails that say their software is good and you must not being using it correctly. So I am out $399 for nothing. I would highly suggest you consider ANY other company to use instead of this one.

This Company offers multiple cool products for different purposes. I have recently experienced their professional data recovery tool, and it works fantastic. It is an incredible software which works for recovering of lost or deleted data as well as the partitions.

After spending all day on a free download I was told it would cost $50. I expected the one that said BUY NOW to have more. But the free download only claimed to have worked & they'd let me preview a couple of pics. They didn't show me anything. But offered a worthless guarantee. Thanks for telling me even Paypal won't honor it. I won't even consider it now. We all need to work together to get the crooks off line so the honest businesses have a better chance of succeeding.

It says Free Trial and you can not tell if this is working for you. It shows a thumbnail and if you want to see if it's working you must buy the 1-year activation year.

There is no way to preview the changes. I tried to contact them and they say i need to buy it in order to see the final result.

I have recently used the windows data recovery software of Stellar.The product is definitely recommended to use as it helps in recovering all my lost files, photos, audios and videos. I will certainly keep it with me for future also.

I feel lucky after purchasing this tool as it saves my job from being fired. I used a hit and trial method amongst various data recovery software and finally selected this one. Now, I feel that this was the right decision which I took in my life and found myself lucky to have this. Thanks!

Software installed.
After a long time of "data recovery" not even one of the files "recovered" could be used.
I've asked immediately a refund, since the software did not perform the job it was intended to.
Refund was refused.
It's a scam. Don't buy it

I purchased Stellar Phoenix Mac Data Recovery a couple of days back and everything worked very well except a minor hitch. The software abruptly shut down on 3 occasions. Immediately, I called technical support of Stellar and they asked me to repair the disk permissions of my Mac Hard drive, which I did. And after, their recovery tool ran perfectly and recovered my important lost files and folders

My Dell system having Windows 8 stopped booting suddenly. I removed the hard disk, connected it to other system in the hope that my important files can be copied but it didn’t happen. As there were some important files of my office, so without giving a second thought I started trying recovery tools but nothing happened. Before trying Stellar Phoenix Partition Recovery Professional, I tried several other tools and all of them even failed to detect the hard drive. Only Stellar Windows Data Recovery tool recognized the drive, performed the recovery task and recovered the files.

I have heard about this Company product from one of my friends that it has a niche for Data Recovery. I remember this Company when I really need them. So, I purchased their data recovery professional software to recover my lost partition. This works successfully for me. Would like to say thanks to Stellar.

My experience with StellarInfo has been terrible, and I believe most of the reviews here to be fake.

I had a corrupted photo that meant something to me, and StellarInfo claimed to be able to recover photos like mine with a ". CR2" extension. The catch was, there was no way to try it without buying it. They offered a money-back guarantee, so I went ahead and paid the $29.99.

Within minutes I had tried it, and it didn't work. (FYI I'm an electrical engineer who used to design PCs; the problem was not "operator error".) Immediately I requested a refund. The response basically said if I really, really wanted a refund, they would give me one. I replied that yes, I did want a refund.

That all happened on January 15. It is now January 31, and I have received no refund. I have initiated a dispute on PayPal and don't know how it will end.

I do know that I seriously regret trying StellarInfo's product.

Would like to thanks to this Company for developing a professional software as a data recovery tool. I had used this tool a few months back and had easily recovered all my missing data with the help of it. Thanks once again Stellar!

I was having bad sectors in my SSDS due to which I was facing many problems it was unable to read/ write properly. Then, I used Stellar Data Recovery software which help me to get my data back. Guys, you can go for this if you are looking for data recovery. This software helps to recover deleted photos, files, documents, videos, etc.

Disappointed. Paid $199 for the Stellar Mbox to PST Technician. Only to discover that after converting emails from mbox to PST some emails were split in to two broken emails. Stellar Info customer service refused to refund. Wasted my money. Ended up buying SysTools Mbox Converter which worked perfectly.

Stellar Photo recovery professional off the shelf software is recommended by a number of online media outlets.
Does it work?
This software was downloaded onto my laptop and failed to load.
I called support, very polite, they suggested opening it in Administration mode and it opened but failed to identify one of the drives on my computer that reads the SD card.
When the card was inserted into the computer the software crashed.
Despite 7 working days of attempts by Stellar to fix it still failed to work as advertised, crashing or failing to open or not reading some drives on the computer.
They then downloaded a data recovery package that worked but because I had not purchased this they would not let me use it.
They refused to replace the software purchased and continued to offer options to resolve the problem with the one I purchased. I was asked to supply screenshots time after time even their attempt to gain remote access failed despite five or six requests to do so, it seems they had no clue.
Beware of purchasing this off the shelf software because some media outlets can benefit financially by recommendation but also those that do seem to have tested and tried it seem not to have been very rigorous in their methodology. Only one, Photography Life, did place a cautionary warning against their findings.
I found the software support lacked conviction or an ability to resolve the issue while at the same time they were unwilling to offer a software package that met the criteria their advertisement claimed.
A refund has been requested and agreed, settlement is now pending.

Stellar Receovery is obviously a scam for me. I bought their software right after the day my data was lost. I tried to retrieve the files using their software and all the data "recovered" were the files that were already on my Mac (which was like we have a copy of our current files).
I then asked for their technical support. The person who supported me on their website was totally a disaster. I myself did a better job recevering the files. After that, he confirmed that there was no single lost file retrieved.
I wrote an email to Stellar, and the answer I got was: "We would like to inform you that data recovery is dependent on factors like data loss reason, severity of corruption, overwritten activity and software works on "what you see is what you can recover". That means the files will be recovered in the same manner as you were able to see them in the preview window after the scanning is complete.

We tried to help you via remote access however that did not work."
Stellar is absolutely a scam!

A year ago I subscribed in order to try to recover missing photos from a hard drive (mother board died on that PC). Using a dock and their program, after an hour or two of searching, over a thousand JPG icons displayed. When I tried to open any of them, they were identified as unopenable. A very few opened but as THUMBNAILS.
THE REAL PROBLEM IS THAT THEIR "TECH SUPPORT" NEVER RESPONDED TO ANY OF MULTIPLE REQUESTS FOR ASSISTANCE.
WORST OF ALL, THEY JUST RENEWED MY SUBSCRIPTION AFTER I SPECIFICALLY TOLD THEM NOT TO. NOW, NO RESPONSE TO COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE UNAUTHORIZED RENEWAL.
AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY $39.99 EVERY YEAR FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WITH NO WAY TO STOP FUTURE CHARGES!

Report will tell you that it found files but you have to pay to see files. Once I payed files would not open and they would not issue a refund.
