on 5/29/15Honestly, I'm very surprised by these reviews too. We have over 100,000 store owners, so I suppose there are bound to be some people who didn't have a great experience. But we certainly have a lot of successful, loyal merchants.
I havent had a good experience as a shop owner i've been a shop owner there since 2013 and no sales whatsoever even with sales :/ i did better on etsy
I'm much happier on Storenvy than I was on Etsy! It's free to get started, so worth the try. =)
I was a store owner but after the implementation of the obscenely high fees and the multitude of checkout problems, site being down, not answering cquestions/problems/concerns by the staff, I had to walk away. I don't recommend having a shop through Storenvy.
I used storenvy and my WHOLE site messed up. It wasn't mobile friendly, and my site would keep crashing due to a bug. I've contacted storenvy through email, Twitter, Facebook,. And the only answer I got was that "they're working on it" THEYRE NOT! I'm actually giving it a second shot because hopefully it was just my profile for some reason because I actually do like how the set up of storenvy is, they just have TERRIBLE Customer service
I have a my online shop on Storenvy and LOVE LOVE LOVE Storenvy! I have been part of Storenvy for almost 3 years and have LOVED the growth and changes that have occurred. The staff is a small party and they do an wonderful job working at constantly improving the site. Storenvy works hard to make shopping enjoyable. I shop Storenvy when ever I can!
As always, there are negative and positive sides of storenvy. I've been selling as a seller there for quite a while before opting to move from the site due to all the recent changes it made. The positive side is that it's completely free to build your shop. The only fee they will be taking is from their 'marketplace' store. The interface is also very simple, I had a lot of sales when I was on the site. The problem rise when Stripe come into play, Storenvy decided to make it into the main payment method while Stripe itself is so laggy and also support ONLY a handful of country. And when you ask people to pay with PAYPAL, storenvy will threaten to close your store because it 'violating the seller agreement'. Well, okay then thank you Storenvy I'm leaving :)
I quit Ebay impossable to make money I'm on Storenvy now
