Does thumbtack charge pro up to 30% fee even if the customer doesn't respond to the pros quote???

No, what thumbtack does is worse and more corrupt. They send fake leads from customers that are not interested in or your business to charge pros up to 30% from at least 4 additional pros.

The leads are most of the time FAKE!

Update: From reading reviews, As of November, 2018m Thumbtack no longer refunds credits when the requester fails to respond.

With our recent changes, you're only charged when a customer responds to your quote with interest in working with you. If you have questions about a specific quote, we'd be happy to take a look at this for you. Just send us a message on Facebook with your email address and the customer's name.
