Dont waste your time with Uber its not worth it. Remember it puts wear and tear on your vechicle and you have to do alot of oil changes. Try to do something else other than Uber.

Question:

I'm interested in driving for uber, but all the negative reviews worry me. can i talk to someone on the phone about this. what is your phone number.

Answer:

Hi, I am not comfortable to give my phone number, but if you have any questions I would try to answer with best of my knowledge. UBER prefer people with job that looking for second job, people with job can not calculate all expenses accurately, and Uber likes that very much, if you like to add all your expenses while you are using your car for any other business than Uber, it is going to be extremely difficult such as mileage, gas, car insurance, car depreciation, phone bill and cost for maintenance only for the time car was used in business. Drivers whom working for Uber as second job will say, I have to pay for insurance or phone anyway and they don't add this as a factor, bottom line if you like to work exclusively for Uber I suggest look at all issues and how you would have to pay tax before getting in to it. Under no circumstances believe the Uber advertising as $30 or even $20 an hour income, after taking 20% for UberX, you also need to put 15.3% for tax and social security. Also working for Uber as second job MAY put you in a higher tax bracket and you have to pay much more at the end of the year. You are not going to get paid for you time, mileage or gas from the moment you accept the call on phone, you only get paid from the moment passengers get in the car until they reach their destination. You may have to drive few miles to get to pickup point, or if you drop passengers in remote area (very often) you have to get yourself out of there and get to a better spot to get the next call. I hope I gave you the answer and if you have any other questions please feel free.
