I was receiving automatic charges month to month INS my credit card, the day I tried to file a claim they mentioned that my contract was expired. This company is pure scam stay away from them. Also make sure you remove all your payments information because next year will try to charge you again. This company not only offers lies but also lost my opportunity to have my phone insurance with my carrier.

I was receiving automatic charges month to month INS my credit card, the day I tried to file a claim they mentioned that my contract was expired. This company is pure scam stay away from them. Also make sure you remove all your payments information because next year will try to charge you again. This company not only offers lies but also lost my opportunity to have my phone insurance with my carrier.

Notify others to keep away from them.

Tried to initiate a claim now I'm being ghosted. Was told id hear back on Wednesday and nothing. Their social media accounts are no longer active. Cannot buy new policies ( don't do it anyway). I'm betting this company has gone under even their BBB page is not active. All I want is my "non repairable" laptop claim to be processed!

I bought cellphone insurance from Upsie. It was awful. I reached out to them the day after when it did not show up on my profile and they assumed, I wanted to file a claim. They were rude and impolite. Btw. Upsie if you are reading this, Squaretrade updated my insurance within minutes - not days. No wonder I cancelled Upsie insurance. Stay away folks. These people have no idea about customer service. I read hundreds of other negative feedbacks as well. All they do is Facebook marketing and delivers impolite responses once they have taken your money. If you think this is untrue, I have attached the communication here.

My husband took his the case off his Samsung phone last week and noticed both the back and front screen were cracked. No problem, we bought insurance...or so we thought. Explained he wasn't sure what caused the cracks, it was in a nice case after all. Rep said we had to have a reason it happened. The only incident my husband could think of was it falling out of a golf cart at work. Whelp, that's considered negligence, so the claim was denied. Rep said it's in their claims of service that we finally received a copy of. Yep, negligence is in one of the clauses. How convenient, just refuse to cover devices by claiming everything is negligence on the part of the buyer. Never again. At least Square Trade has always fixed our devices!

Bought a warranty for a tablet, thinking I would have a similar experience like I do with Amazon and Asurion should I have an issue. Their advertising says they cover accidental damage and list cracked screen as one of the items. When I filed a claim for a cracked screen, they said they can't cover it because it was due to negligence. Well, duh! As if people have cracked screens after careful handling... that is why I bought the warranty in the first place! RipOFF!

I purchased an ipad and had it covered through Upsie. With five months left on my two year warranty the ipad broke. So I called them for a claim on the product. They gave me instructions on how to go about getting a repair/payment. After paying the deductible they said I would receive a Zelle payment. If said payment wasn't approved within four days then a paper check would be issued. Its been over one month of waiting for this invisible payment. I've been calling them almost every other day the reps are rude, they offer no solution, and I am without a working ipad that my daughter uses for educational purposes. Worst insurance company ever.

I have been trying for 4 months to get a return label emailed so I can send the apple in to see if they fix it, or send replacement value! Four months! Phone calls with rude unprofessional people. Waiting on hold for 10 minutes! It is beyond frustrating the phone calls and attempts to simply honor the warranty I paid for! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I have had warranties with them for many years and devices and (thankfully) never needed to claim. When I finally did, they said to take to their authorized local repair center. They are not able to fix the phone and now Upsie says I need to send the phone to their depot (waiting another 24 to 48 hours to get the paperwork) after having been without a phone for 2 weeks already. Who know how long it will take for the 'depot' to confirm the diagnosis. I have cancelled the remaining warranties I have with them and I suggest if you make the mistake of purchasing a warranty from them, you do the same.

Upsie advertises 2-Year smart phone warranty. Common sense tells us that the coverage is for 2 years starting on the day we pay. NO! Only after you pay, you learn that the coverage starts on the day you bought the phone! I paid today, and to my disbelief I discovered that I am paying for 2 years, but getting coverage only for 1 year, because I bought my phone a year ago!
This is a case of malicious misleading customer by UPSIE.COM. I prefer to have no coverage than to pay to liars. Let us refuse paying for a lie!
Will probably sign up with the old Square Trade where you get what you pay for.

On 18 February I filed a claim they said I am all set. What a joke called repair shop they told me repair is 400.00 and upsie approved 250.00. Called upsie they said they would take care of it. On 28 February still not done they called me and said I have to bring the phone to repair shop and it would be approved right away. A week later still not approved 3 weeks now with a broken and no hope in site.

Sent my phone in on 9 November to be repaired got it back in a couple weeks. The repair was done but they screwed up my phone by overheating. Called Upsie they said send it back I did 2 weeks later got phone they did nothing called again they said send it back I did 2 weeks later got phone still not fixed called again they said sent it back on 20 January now they are saying it not the same phone finally got it back on 9 March still not fix. This company totally sucks I guess I have to take them to courts.

My fridge has been pouring water on the floor for over a month and every time i talk to them they escalate the situation and enaure i will get a call back in 1-3 days and the service technician that came to my home said to talk to them because the cabinet is cracked they should replace it and he did not want to order any parts. Upsie is terrible! They keep telling me that its escalated and that i will be contacted but now the water has damaged my floors and they are still giving me the run around.
Then had the audacity to tell me to be professional when speaking to them when they have no professionalism when handling urgent matters. It's been nothing but a run around with them.

Upsie is one of those infamous and notorious company who has excellent and strong branding marketing and sales arm but horrible post sales services. Upsie's internal Operations department is a joke, there are no single unified messages to customer as if everyone make up their own rules and each time you call, you get different and inconsistent answers and processes.

Many of its employees are nice and ambitious young people who truly wants to help but the problem lies in their management structure, total lack of structure, lack of proper training and lack of process for payout.

Upsie based on my own personal experience, uses heavy stalling and delaying practices, to confirm addresses, to confirm this and to confirm that; 3+ days to a week would go by, unable to get any response and when they do, they will ask for another confirmation before payout. How ridiculous or stupid you think we Consumers are? I hope this piece of $#*! snake insurance company go bankrupt and dies a horrible death.

I am taking my future business elsewhere and will be a lifetime enemy of Upsie and will spend continuous effort to speak badly about them until they are 6 feet under.

I purchased a warranty from upsie seemd good at first. Had a 3 year warranty. Now in my 2nd year my MacBook Pro was not holding a charge and dying in 4 hours. Well I sent it for repair never got a call back nothing and finally was able to get in contact with someone for them to tell me they couldn't repair and salavage my laptop that I have all my info on and offering not even half I paid for it. I don't want the offer I want my laptop back. They no longer have it and salvaged it is what they're telling me. I am livid. The customer service reps do t care they won't even help or figure a solution. Why wouldn't you contact the owner of the cpu the person who sent it to get serviced before you go and keep my $1000 laptop

I have a valid laptop warranty with Upsie. Recently, I reported my very first claim under this warranty since my laptop screen was broken. I reported it online. Since I didn't receive any update on the claim, I called them up to talk to a customer care representative and provided him all the details. I thought my claim will be in process but when I didn't receive any update from them, I again called them up to check the status. This time customer care executive told me they need more information. So I patched my wife on the call since laptop was in her possession during the accident. She provided them the exact details about the accident that the laptop was dropped while she was tripped over the wire. They said we deny this claim since there is a change of story. I asked them many times, how can it be a change of story, the warranty is in my wife's same, laptop was in her possession so she would know what has happened to the laptop. They didn't accept. And in the call, customer care executive was so rude that we were surprised how he is doing customer facing job. I am so disappointed and regret why did I purchase warranty from Upsie. I should have considered a better provider like Square Trade or Assurance.

I bought 2 warranties on different dates-I eventually canceled today after this... one was for my middle school son several months after my own one... I sent him the referral link and he used it but they wouldn't honor the referral so I called them because they had sent him emails too. That's where the beatdown and accusations began saying me and my son are the same people by David C. Who also seems to have left a positive review here also. I allow my son access to Paypal and as the Tablet I bought him was a Christmas present he purchased it. Just because I allowed him access to my account doesn't make us the same people and when I told them via email it was for a friend, not my son David C. Convoluted that was me-I didn't want to drag my son into as he's only 13 and btw we are friends too. David C. Starting telling me about thousands who try to do multiple referrals to gain a monetary advantage and had already errantly grouped me into that category in tone and attitude even after I explained didn't want son involved if possible but he was very abrasive so I ended up canceling both my son's and my warranty after this as I am the customer and didn't appreciate the way this was handled and would rather have no extended warranty on my Cell Phone and his Tablet than to be told you're lying 3-4 times even after being told by David it would be taken care of in email in his initial response only to call me while I'm working and give me his suspicions and abrasive attitude and mentioned I was being unethical and lying…ugh! Good riddance and back to Squaretrade and will never use Upsie ("Upside downsies") ever again!

Tip for consumers:
Be careful as not to be mistrusted or abused by customer service here...not worth the hassle!!!!!!!! Lost 90% of revenue over 10% of THEIR perceived mistrust!!!
