I am thinking of selling my car to Vroom. I give them the title , they pick up the car, they later send me a check. Can I trust them?

I got a good offer and my car is 2 years old and in better than average shape. In fact they offered 1400. 00 more than the local dealer, more than Carmax or Carvanna. Then I read reviews, the BBB and received the contract. In there point #7, they said they have the right to adjust the price and do not pay out until they inspect the car. Called and canceled the contract before it got any further. In this day and age I decided if I'm going to sell something I need to look at the person face to face. VROOM holds too many unknowns.

I personally would not use them. They low-balled me $5,000 lower but any other offer I got from dealerships to sell my car

I decided against it. I just can't wrap my head around sending out the title even though there's a contract. Good luck!
