on 12/13/15I always shop for everything with a credit card with a great customer service that will get your money back for you. (Mine starts with an "A"). Actually, almost all credit cards will do this, so you don't have to keep getting lead in circles until the company who you purchased the item from exhausts you and you give up. This is their plan. Just make sure to keep as much info for proof as you can: emails (I always make contact through email so it's on record), receipts, order and shipping confirmations, tracking #'s, etc. I have even gotten money back from companies with very strict no refund policies. Let your CC company do the work for you. Many times when even a large corporation is contacted by your CC company, they'll solve the problem immediately to avoid the time it would take them to fight it.
Someone above suggested the BBB, but that is more time consuming. Your CC can actually get your money credited back to your account much faster in less time.
Make a few attempts to get this settled then go online to the Better Business Bureau for the area where the company is located. You can file a complaint online with the BBB. Have it well organized with all of the facts and details relating to what happened and how you have attempted to get it settled.
This has happened to me twice and both times it was immediately taken care of once the BBB contacted that company. I am referring to situations that were not purchases from Walmart. If the Better Business Bureau contacts any company for you, then you have got their attention.
I called. They kept reading a " script" over and over and over! I asked multiple yes or no questions. All I got was the same paragraph over and over and over! They were not able to answer one single question! None! Just reading the same 4-5 sentences... I requested a manager. Over 22 times! He got on the phone and again repeated the paragraph before he even knew why I wanted to talk! Every question was the same answer. Not on "yes or no" given! Eventually I gave up! As most of us do! They claim the entire system has crashed! Or they did last night. The manager had no means to see any info and was not able to speak about anything having to do with my order. Nothing. Nor did he explain why I had to request to speak with him that many times! Just sharing as I can't imagine I'm the only one! Thanks.
They have a customer service number on their web site. My wait time 21 minutes. After waiting two weeks the CSR said item is out of stock. They never really took the money out of my account just an ACH. (Account hold) they claimed they never take payment until the item is shipped. I went to the bank and checked for
Myself. This proved to be one of the few true statements they told me.
