Wirex is a scamming Web3 wallet. There financial institute knows nothing about their 'refunds' im still waiting for longer then 16 months on my remaining funds after the closure of my account. Their a lawsuit has been filed against Pavel Matveev, Dmitry Lazarichev, Georgy Sokolov, Rajiv Sainani & Wirex limited in the
Netherlands. Also there official adress is in Croatia and not in UK. They never edited this. But all the wires are starting to come together. Be careful when using wirex. Small amounts can't hurt, but I don't recommend large investments! They also closed the ticket and close all new ones. They banned me from discord on 3 different accounts. The app tells me i get notitfied myself but 18 months further and still didnt receive my 3eth.

Wirex froze my account without notice, and despite multiple emails, there has been zero response. A financial service that lacks communication and arbitrarily locks accounts is not one I can recommend. Proceed with caution.
Used for a few months and all seemed okay. Added some more funds which triggered my account being frozen and support just stalling and evading the issue. Now I'm being ghosted. Avoid!
Updated to 3 stars, customer service have finally rectified my issues. The app and its functions are good, the service and behind the scenes stuff needs some work.
After bitcoin dropped I had no acces to my account anymore. They steal your money. Don't do it. Support answers fast. This is because you talk to a bot!

This business wants me to verify my details AGAIN after three years of being a customer. Their verification links / process don't work and I only could make contact by Twitter.

I've been satisfied with their services for a long time: fast transactions, user friendly mobile app, reasonable fees. But after they upgraded to the version 2.0 I'm not really happy with them. Now I can wait for the transaction for days and now I don't know how they count fees anymore. And the exchange rate is still a mystery to me (it depends on the amount you want to exchange). Anyway I'm still using Wirex but don't trust big sums.
You can deposit but can't withdraw. And support is terrible, they never reply. If you see they com and reply to this message here, that is a SCAM too. Don't believe it.
Really disappointed with their service. I transferred funds into my account but was not credited. There have been no error message or whatsoever to tell me that there is a system error but upon checking the transferred funds have been deducted from my bank but not reflecting on my Wirex account. I contacted their customer support but after almost a week, I haven't got any response. Now I am left clueless as how to resolve the problem.
Support does not respond to emails at all! A week ago, they blocked the account, asked for proof of the address of residence, sent them 2 documents in two letters. No reaction! Never use this service. You will not be able to go away, never. To abandon their services requires long-term correspondence with support. They refuse to delete your private data (id, passport, credit card, etc.), so all your personal information will not be safe. A complaint was lodged by the European Data Protection Supervisor (GDPR).

They get my money and block my account
I open the account to receive help from families and friends for my studies in Spain and when I try to exchange the fund to a wallet a couple of days ago, the app crush all the time. At the time I didn't have enough signal so I don't really care.
Today I receive the last funds, in total not more then 800€ aprox, and when I try to withdraw the funds, they block my account. I contact support and they wrote me back asking me for the source funds (again, less then 800€) and I don't have any more news.
If you really relay in this service to live, run away, this is not the right option.
My experience with this company is very terrible. I lost my money to this people and no one was talking about a way out of the mess. The customer care representative I spoke to kept saying there isn't a thing they could do and then they stopped answering my calls or replying my emails. If you have a WIREX account, now is the time to liquidate it. On Wednesday, April 20, I executed a trade when I received a message that the volume of the trade had exceeded my account, verification was in order. A few sour clicks later I received all the requested information and received a new message telling me that the verification took 20 minutes. Today is 6 days later and my account is still locked. The support immensely answered me that they could not help me and that I had to wait a few hours. I have more or less 8000 EUR in my account and I have no means of payment because it was blocked by an agent who gave no explanation.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Wirex. After closing my account with a significant balance, they failed to respond to any of my emails. Despite the lack of a customer support phone number, I took legal action to reclaim my funds, which resulted in my account being unblocked. However, Wirex disabled faster payments and Sepa payments, making it impossible for me to transfer my money through the app.
When I attempted to transfer funds using the Wirex Crypto wallet, the transfers remained pending for an extended period and ultimately never went through. Wirex initially claimed that the money had been sent, but later admitted that technical issues had prevented the transfer from completing. Subsequently, they ceased responding to my emails and support requests for two weeks, leaving me in limbo regarding my ******* GBP.
After more than two weeks of silence, I finally received a letter from Wirex stating that they were working on resolving the issue. I have stopped using Wirex because they have demanded that I re-do my KYC verification multiple times. This is a hassle bordering on harassment, so I have stopped using their service. Too much trouble.
Mostly works as I would expect: send crypto in, manually convert to a fiat balance, fiat balance is debited when you use the card. Things I like:
* transactions show up very quickly in the app. (Both mobile and web-based apps work approximately the same.)
* foreign currency transactions reliably come in very, very close to spot rates
* no topup fee for sending crypto to wallet
* zero fees for PoS, zero fees for ATM withdrawal (up to a fairly small limit) then 1%
Some issues I have had:
* silent fee creep: crypto to fiat conversions used to be very close to spot, until they suddenly were not (1% margin?)
* DAI is a ripoff, they give you basically a fixed rate slightly under $1 irrespective of market rates, which often considerably overshoot $1.
* hassling me to redo KYC after a move within the same small country
