Amazing service! I just moved from France to Canada and needed to find a way to transfer my money from my french bank account to my account in Canada. I was able to transfer the money to the Xendpay bank account and received the money to my other bank account only a day after! So fast! I also love that you can choose how much commission you give to them and it's so much cheaper than anything else. Also, the rate is incredibly amazing.
I had paid Xendpay 820 USD including their fee to transfer 700 euros to my bank account. I have received 660 euros! Upon contacting them, the explanation was "If Barclays are not able to send funds directly then they have to use intermediary bank to transfer your funds and sometimes they take charge for transferring". They have never every stated during the transaction stage! But they clearly stated the fees for the money to be transferred. They are a bunch of thieves.

Poor service and very bad customer care! 15 days and no one could tell me about my money transfer! Because of this so called "confidentiality", nobody was wiling to help me track the payment. They play with your money when they don't simply steal it... look over the internet and you'll find the truth about this company! First and last time with XENDPAY. I advice you all to stay away from them.
Xendpay have charged me a hefty cancellation fee as the transaction got expired due to some error while funding the money to xendpay account.
Now as they canceled the transaction they are asking for fee and if not paid then this will be escalated to their legal and debt recovery team
Any views?
Thanks in advance
This company seems like it's run by a few stuck-up amateurs who have no idea of what they are doing. And they don't seem to have any proper identification authentication process. I couldn't get them to even properly check my identification days after uploading my documents. I guess, they were too busy. And when I got in touch with them, they keep sending me same automated answer (something like: please refer to 'Others') even though I have uploaded a few different identification papers such as passport and ID-card. Assuming them being this troubling even during a basic id-check, I can't imagine how awful will they be during a transaction. S
They have closed my transaction in their application however I have not received the credit in my beneficiary account. They are not picking up my calls nor are they responding to my queries on email. Otherwise too they do not respond to calls during business hours. Noticed lot of people reporting similar cases in past two weeks.
Received many promotional emails to send money with XENDPAY. When I sent following an offer, the day after they closed the account for no apparent reason. When tried to log in, account was not there. Sent an email to ask what was going on, they asked me to give details of the transaction. I said I didn't have as the details were in side the account and could not access it. After many days of complains they said it would take 3-5 days to give me my money back, 2 weeks have passed and no money and no response to any of my email. AVOID!
I have lost quite some money with this provider. Because of a writing mistake when sending the money, they receiving bank send it back to Xendpay, for security reasons. After explaining the situation by email, several times, I have received a short message, saying, they have sent the money to the vendor. After asking them to check again, since the bank has sent a notification that they sent the money back to Xendpay, I have not received any reply from them. In the end, I have lost all the money I was planning to send to my production - their payment - and have to pay it again - out of my own pockets.
I would NOT recommend this provider at all. Mistakes can happen, but providing such a horrible customer service (none at all really) shouldn't happen to any company working in this sector.

This company tells you its so easy to send funds abroad what they dont tell you is how intrusive they are you give them all your personal and private details then they tell you you can only send £900 so ok they want passport copy and address confirmation email to them when you have done all this they want you to send your bank statement! Yea thats right they want to know how much you have or dont have i told them to stick it Bering in mind my funds come from a uk bank and would be transferd to my thai bank all above board and transparent dont deal with this company the will waste your time and will want to intrude in to your private life
Tip for consumers:
move on to next provider
I have used Xendpay for a while and it is often not simple!
Exchange rates are good, but every now and then they want ridiculous levels of 'security' information.
Example: I use Xendpay to transfer money to Ghana in West Africa where I do charity work. The latest thing they want is Photo ID of the recipients - well, most of the people I help in West Africa don't have Photo ID, so my guess is they are just trying to regulate the lives of 1st World citizens.
As a service, it does not matter how much time does it take, IFFF one has mentioned it beforehand and abide by it.
When you say 1-3 days, one would not (and have no right to) blame you if it takes 3 days BUT even after 13 days if you haven't fulfilled it and above all no clear communication on the issue or when is it gonna resolved: then honestly you suck at whatever you do!
And believe me, losing a loyal customer, you need to work hard - VERY HARD - to regain even half of the trust that I used have in you...
I had made a transaction online, everything how it was supposed to be and I sent them my money. I waited 2 days, the recipient never received my money, so I called their hotline, where they told me bunch of stupid excuses and at the end of the day they said that they have to cancel my transaction, so they have to refund my money. I though, OK, weird, but OK.
Today I made another transaction according to their process as I had done first time. Now I have been waiting another 2 days, so I called them again and they started telling me the same excuses...? So they cancelled my transaction again. I was told that I can get a refund or I can close another transaction right away.
And now I understand their way of working. They offered me to close another transaction with the current exchange rate, which is way worse for me (better for them), as the one, which I had closed initially. Therefore they did not honor my initial transaction, simply because it would not be advantageous enough for them and so they are forcing me to make another transaction with the worse exchange rate!
Both times they hold my money for several days, before they cancelled the transaction and send the refund - that is how they are making money.
HANDS OFF THIS COMPANY!
Unfortunately my experience with Xendpay can be best described as nothing short of an absolute disgrace. Due to some urgent family problems here in Thailand I had to convert and transfer some EUR from Italy to Thai Baht.
In the end it took them SEVENTEEN days to transfer the funds into my Thai account. They changed the expected settlement date THREE TIMES. In the last week prior to settlement basically I had to call them every day (at least once) as their information was either incorrect or just not forthcoming.
The only positive thing I can say about them is that they leave you free to pay whatever you want for the transaction, which is why they still have some customers, I guess. So if you don't need your money urgently and don't mind being messed about for 2.5 weeks, then feel free to choose Xendpay's services.
Personally I think I'll give them a wide berth in the future - probably I wouldn't choose them even if the transaction was offered to me free of charge. That just sums up how bad they are.
I write this review as Xendpay has reported my review on TrustPilot, I'm simply stating the facts and can prove it with correspondence from them and the FOS. WARNING do not use! We tried to send a large sum for emergency medical treatment of a family member (heart surgery). More than a week had passed and no update They said the beneficiaries details were incorrect, i know for a fact they are correct as we have used the details in the past with their competitor. I have now taken this up with the FOS (Financial Ombudsmen)
***Update*** After giving them an alternative beneficiary name and account details, again that i know works as i have used it with Transferwise with no rejections. They still claimed that the beneficiary was invalid. They wanted to charge me first £200 if i wanted to cancel. I refused to cancel or accept the fee as i am not the one who is failing to the agreed contract. In the end i just informed them that I will let the FOS deal with the investigation after I was advised by them as it was clear i had a strong case. They soon refunded me in FULL, then tried to sweeten it by saying as a good will gesture they wouldn't charge me a cancellation fee. Nice try but i wasn't the one who cancelled. Xendpay capitulated after i told them that the FOS will deal with it.
They hold your money as long as they can giving you some or other reason.
Very disappointed. Please stay away from these guys
I would request please check cancellation charges before doing transfer.they charge me 60 pound for cancellation.
Xendpay has turned 100 + 4 fee into 78USD at the recipients account. $#*! these scammers. Don't waste your money.
