The web site is a nightmare. You cannot delete your account. You can only cancelled. So, as soon as I started dating this guy, I went and cancelled the stupid account. However, the account never went away, it was still showing. Not only that but consistently throughout 3 months, it showed that I was adding friends. From 3, it went up to 13. Thank goodness my boyfriend trusted me to believe that I was not talking to other guys, but I must confess that I was pretty embarrassed. I did not know what to tell him other than, I had NO idea what is going on.
Has anybody heard of that?

Are you talking about Zoosk? Or what web site? I have found on any of the dating sites that they do in deed keep your info... if you just cancel... its not enough. You have to realize that your subscription doesn't end until the date it was supposed to end. So if you signed up for 3 months... and canceled it after 1 month... it is still active for the remainder of the 3 months. You actually have to go in and HIDE or Deactivate your profile so that no one can view it. Make sure you go into "settings" and turn off all of the mail settings so that you do not keep getting notifications of messages and views. That should solve your problem.

I deleted my photos, and changed my profile info to "N/A", cancelled, then deleted my profile, yet it still remained active for the remainder of my subscription. Removing photos and profile info (about-me, perfect-date, etc) was the only way to remove me from the playing-field, but you will still get emails and updates via email (so turn those off too).

If you find a girl or a guy that you like and you get to writing them a lot, ask them what their last name is and do a back ground check. I THOUGHT I was writing to a nice girl and found out there was no such girl by that age in that whole town other than a 78 year old woman! I just started messing with her or whoever it was at that point. For the most part, all dating sites on computers are just full of scammers!

Email zoosk on the faq page and ask them to delete your profile and they will do that. Yes it is not a very friendly site. I deleted my account but had to send an email to zoosk and have it deleted

You must cancel the account (financial part) then deactivate (dating part). I found it to be a two part process.

They maintain inactive profiles to make people feel the site has lots of members.
Remove all pictures.
Change personal information to ludicrous parameters (I'm 98 years old, and only 3 feet tall)
Clear all the information you can
Hopefully noone is dumb enough to fall for my "profile"

Zoosk seems to be quite popular with the online daters. I want to find a woman in another state but the women of Zoosk want someone in their immediate area. I understand and wish the local dating pool was larger.

I've never heard this site referred to as an NSA "No Strings Attached" site unless it stands for NEVER STOP AGRIVATING you.

All I know is that I met some one on Zoosk and several times I saw her on line, When I asked her about it she explained that she was not on the Zoosk site but may been on another site since she received her emails on a watch that she wears. We have since spilt up at her command not request so I have moved on. I have communicated with a young good looking woman but no response back from her even not a"Leave Me Alone"
So this is all that I can offer and wish you good luck in your search for a mate

If you fill out a preference sheet you might as well try to swim the Pacific.
Their computer can't tell the difference between races or ages and has no concept of distance!

That's what they do! Mine is still there also. I knew how they operated before I cancelled my membership. They will use your profile in Carousel as being active. SO, I removed my picture. Ha!

My experience is that most views lead to nothing. I have asked a lot of members who viewed my profile and added me for further contact if they invited me personally. Many did'n't. Another thing is that every view gives the person a coin so that he can unlock information. I suggest... don't invest in Zoosk.

I can only talk for myself. I've met several people on this site. Guess it depends on what age & type of individual you're looking for. It also helps to be nice looking, polite,& don't be after "JUST" sex. Even though I did get lucky 3 times, I found someone I like very much.

Unlike the other sites that only charge a monthly... Zoosk gets you for the monthly and then insults you by demanding you BUY coins to communicate with someone who's interested... a total SCAM

I had the same issue with Match. I think they use old profiles to attract and keep new members. It becomes obvious they're not active when you don't get a response from a single person. Zoosk advertises that they're the largest dating site in the world-it must be China because all I ever see are complaints from former members.

All I know is that Zoosk is 100 percent bad. Simply save your money and stay away. I have attempted to contact zoosk by email, with no response what so ever. In my parameters that I have set, there is approx 130 women. Not one of them is online nor available. Excuse me, if you pay to be on their site, would you not think that they would be spending time looking?

Do you have to sign up on their site in order for other facebook friends and family to be notified that you are associated with this site, or does it simply associate you to their website even if you click on their URL without signing up?

Zoosk says my boyfriend has an account, but when I ask him about it he honestly had no idea what it was. Could they have gotten his email and made a fake account for him?

This site is bogus. It sends messages to every Tom, $#*! & Harry. From me that I had nothing to do with! There is a guy of interest, I did find and I can't reply even yes or no to his messages, and only four words do I get from him! I subscribed to a magazine, thinking I would get coins to message him back, hopeful for a least a few words I could send. Nooo. The only thing coins are good for is to send gifts! I was skeptical, so I made sure to get a magazine I wouldn't mind paying for case what happen was the case! And it was! Rip off! I won't subscribe, I don't trust this site, heard too many bad things, special with your money! I really hate this cause this man, I would like to meet. Doesn't look like that's gonna happen! :(

'After being in relationship with Wilson for seven years, he broke up with me, I did everything possible to bring him back but all was in vain, I wanted him back so much because of the love I have for him, I begged him with everything, I made promises but he refused. I explained my problem to someone online and she suggested that I should contact a spell caster that could help me cast a spell to bring him back but I am the type that don't believed in spell, I had no choice than to try it, I meant a spell caster called Dr Zuma zuk and I email him, and he told me there was no problem that everything will be okay before three days, that my ex will return to me before three days, he cast the spell and surprisingly in the second day, it was around 4pm. My ex called me, I was so surprised, I answered the call and all he said was that he was so sorry for everything that happened, that he wanted me to return to him, that he loves me so much. I was so happy and went to him, that was how we started living together happily again. Since then, I have made promise that anybody I know that have a relationship problem, I would be of help to such person by referring him or her to the only real and powerful spell caster who helped me with my own problem and who is different from all the fake ones out there. Anybody could need the help of the spell caster, his email: spiritualherbalisthealers@gmail.com you can email him if you need his assistance in your relationship or anything. CONTACT HIM NOW FOR SOLUTION TO ALL YOUR PROBLEMS'
