Had some difficulty using this service and also trying to contact them for a refund for a card not sent. Apparently it turned out to be my fault which I found out after they contacted me following a poor review I left. They should make it easier to contact them to avoid poor reviews but it just shows how leaving a poor review will get you a refund quicker than complaining direct. I have amended my review to 4 stars as they are now refunding me.
I tried a web search with only "123greetings". The result was the first 2 pages were all positive reviews. And they were all from 123greetings.com. That was a red flag for me. Then I tried "123greetings scam", what a surprise. All negative reviews popped up. Only one said "beware of a similarly named site that is a scam". Guess who it was from. Yep. 123greetings. I think they would do better if they went into the SEO business.

I've used this website to send e-cards to my family and friends last Christmas '12. Most of them received the cards. But next time I'll make it like personalized. The ones I chose was for environmental awareness.
If you're looking for cartoon looking ecards, they're a great site. Expect to possibly get a little spam or at least an occasional email from their company (if you fail to check 'do not contact me / I wish to not receive future emails' option). Otherwise, the cards are decent and seem to always send and be received easily. I use them often.
Neither I nor my recipient received the e-card sent for a 70th bday. This was organised for the 7th of February to be sent that very day. Cost $9.95. I would dearly like to know why this happened (or didn't happen). I don't think I want to use this site again.
I was using 123 greetings for over a year for birthdays, holidays, cheer friends up.
The wesite would send me a notification of the card, and when the person recieved the card, the last several months I have not recieved a notification, people didn't get the card.
My email was correctly entered, as was theirs. Several I had sent to previously and had no problem.
I have contacted the wesite 7 times for assistance/answer, no reply.
I have been in this website and been accept them to sent me news letter. Since then they got news letters sent to me quite offen and turn up with a part time job. Job it 'was about do survey and get pay. When you click on it they provided example of servey and after finished it the system will show that if I want to registered I can pay by paypal or credit card. For sure I chose paypal cos it's safe. When it turn tofake paypal site. Hoe do I know that paypal site is fake by them because notice on the tab usually will come s with light green with security lock sign on the tab. Anybody have been to this site www.123greetings.com and been recieved email from 123Greetings" <*******@123greetings.info>please beware!
The site has helped me send cool cards to my near and dear ones round the year. Now they also have an app in Google play store as well as itunes. Cool isn't it!

I used this site for years, and was happy, I recommended it to family and friends. BUT NEVER AGAIN. I setup a XMAS card for delayed delivery to my friends and family. The next day I started receiving multiple "your card has been viewed" notifications from individual receivers. Since I had only sent one card, and it should not have been sent (yet) I contacted one of the recipients. The 2 cards she received were NOT the one I selected, and they contained advertising from the island of St. Martin. The tech support at 123 told me they had done "rigorous testing" and found no problems, I still don't know if the real 123 card will go out as scheduled. The "dashboard" feature in my account displays false, and/or incomplete info. 123 has ruined Christmas cards for me - I have now sent apology emails to everyone, about the multiple, unauthorized, spam filled cards and don't even know if they will get the intended card. 123 tech support has not been helpful. First they denied a problem, now they ignore it.
I foolishly signed up for a free 7 day trial, & foolishly gave them my CC number to do so, (this should be against the law btw, insisting on a cc number before a free trial). Anyway was a few hours late cancelling my subscription & they refuse to credit my card back. If the site was any good, i would keep it but the cards can't be posted to Facebook & can't be personalized by adding pictures to the cards. It's just an inferior website... I even offered to pay for 1 month since technically I was a few hours late cancelling. This happened to me once before & the company graciously cancelled the membership for me, which is the right thing to do. It's not like I was into it for a couple of weeks & I didn't send any cards after the 7 day trial. I guess they need the $28.88 or whatever it was more then me,, there should be a days grace or they should have to get your approval before they process the transaction. Legally i guess they are in the right but ethically they are wrong. I tried to stop payment on my cc but the CC company won't do that if i did not meet the terms of the agreement. It's a racket, I guess the CC company's want their business more then mine. Anyway, BEWARE. If you don't want the service, make sure you cancel it a day early or you will be charged for a year, even though they show it be $2.49/month. They charge for a full year in advance. Very sketchy..
Was looking for a pick me up card for a friend to send online... but what comes up as free for this service is not actually free. Beware of False advertising!
I have used 123 Greeting over the years. This year when you complete composing your greeting & try to send, you are given 2 options to PAY! Otherwise, you can't send the card. WHAT'S ALL THIS ABOUT!
FALSE ADVERTISING!
So disappointed in what I thought was an honorable & reliable company.
Do yourself a favor and don't use this service on Father's Day I sent my 86 year old father who was out of town a ecard with this service which he never received keep in mind they sent me a email saying the card had been sent and they would email me once he opened it when I had not heard from him the day after I called he said he never received it I emailed the company they have yet to respond but didn't waste time sending my father advertisement for their cheap little unprofessional email card business this is totally unexceptionable if you don't want to come off looking like Uooooooboooooo the fool go to the store early buy Hallmark and mail it through the good old reliable postal service and save yourself the headache my true rating for this business is a negative 50 and that is being generous
Even if you 'uncheck' that phony Editor Bob"s (he's an Indian, not an American, and should be deported) "offers" box they'll still spam you with hundreds of junk messages a day. I'm writing the IRS and the NYS tax people as often as I have to until the site is shut down and the spam stopped.
SO-I put an acquaintance' email into my address book, but when I send the card, I Still seem to have to write it out longhand. The site doesn't seem to import the saved address when I write the person's name. Kind of defeats the PURPOSE of an address book: n'cest pas?
A massive ad site disguised as a greeting card. Your greeting is embedded in a string of ads. Hard to tell the greeting from the surrounding advertisements.
Even if your "free trial" is for a basic membership and is canceled they will still charge you for $29.88 - a yearly premium membership. Do NOT use this site.
This is a great site for sending free ecards. There are many out there and in my experience, this is a really good one, with lots of really beautiful cards... :)
I have never had a problem using 123 Greetings. Always safe and free to send cards. There is However a site with a similar name 123cards.com that is a scam. 123 Greetings is an Excellent site.
Tip for consumers:
This site has often been confused with a site with a similar name.

Until the past few Mos I haven't had a prob w 123 G., and, have used them for yrs. No more tho. And I am Not the only one switching. There has been No Link to Click Onto when on the Receivers end, and whether I get a card, or when my friends do. We now have to 'copy' those Long Numbers down before 'retyping' it in, on Another page, in order for us to Finally be able to View our Cards! Not worth the hassle anymore. So very disappointed, and 123G has never answered or even acknowledged my email to them either. Lastly I want to add that there have been a few times (and ONLY when I went on to the 123G Site!), when my phone started acting crazy and telling me to do this/that because my phone had tons of viruses. They proceeded to tell me What to do about it, and where to click. I did Nothing but to Shut and power off my phone, instead, and the problem just disappeared. However, I was so taken back when I went to o 123 G at Another time, and... the Same Exact thing Occurred! Viruses, and telling me 'What to Click.' But again. I did Not! Shame on 123G for Not fixing up their mess, for having some customers having to copy and retype numbers in order to see a lousey card, and. For NOT getting back to their once very loyal customers. I know they're Not reading this either, just needed to vent anyway
I used to use this site all the time for ecards, but when I tried to send a card today I was completely blocked out of the site because I am using an adblocker!
They have beautiful cards, but NOW they are selling email addresses, so even if you only send out ONE card, you'll be inundated with ecards from total strangers! NOT COOL!
