“Was unable to send card despite payment of $4.99”

Had some difficulty using this service and also trying to contact them for a refund for a card not sent. Apparently it turned out to be my fault which I found out after they contacted me following a poor review I left. They should make it easier to contact them to avoid poor reviews but it just shows how leaving a poor review will get you a refund quicker than complaining direct. I have amended my review to 4 stars as they are now refunding me.

“Tried a web search for 123greetings”

I tried a web search with only "123greetings". The result was the first 2 pages were all positive reviews. And they were all from 123greetings.com. That was a red flag for me. Then I tried "123greetings scam", what a surprise. All negative reviews popped up. Only one said "beware of a similarly named site that is a scam". Guess who it was from. Yep. 123greetings. I think they would do better if they went into the SEO business.

Tip for consumers:
I am super cautious when it comes to unsolicited email. I always web search both just the URL and the URL plus the word "scam" before clicking on any such link.
My experience is that about half of the unsolicited emails come from suspect sources, and this was one of them.

Products used:
Nothing. A web search of the company convinced me that this was not a trustworthy company.

What an absolute rip-off! You wasted my time by misleading me into signing up with a "promised" free option. Not until I went through the whole process do you drop the bomb that you have to pay. This is false advertising & very disappointing. I even googled how to find the free cards. There were NO free options that I could find on this ripoff site. Don't tell people something is free when it is not!

I used to like these e-cards, but I won't make the mistake of wasting my time again!

Very Dissatisfied Customer

This service is confusing upon sign up. You don't realize if you forget to cancel in the seven days they charge you $30 for a year and their policy is no refunds. And although it says $2.50 per month that is also confusing because that is based one dividing the year fee into to 12 months. Eventually they did provide me a refund after they had told me they could not. So I have updated this review accordingly.

PLEASE NOTE: I had accidentally given a bad review to 123.Greetings.com - but my negative experience was actually with 123. Cards, which has rip-off prices and poor customer service including demanding $1 before they answer even one question. Beware of 123. Cards! I apologize to 123. Greetings, which does not charge any fees or advertise sneaky "deals."

This site has not worked since the week before Christmas, when the most cards are most likely to be sent. You can customize your choice of card with your own additional words to the recipient. Unfortunately, when you hit the send button, all you see is a constant rotating buffering circle going around infinitely. Their Contact Us button is nothing more than a list of FAQ's. Like I said, this site really deserves a rating of 0 stars but 1 star was as low as I could rate the 123greetings.com website. Truly sad how bad this website has become!

There is nothing much lower than a business that commits to providing a service, makes you fill out several boxes of info, and then at the end demands your credit card number to start a 'free' trial that you'll undoubtedly have difficulty cancelling. This is a dirty way to operate and if a company pulls this crap, they will pull other crap as well.

If ethics, values and career growth are your preferences; this company is not for you.
Unprofessional and talentless management with no work ethics.
Typical mindset of being cheap and earning us their only motto.

They will take your original documents to make sure you don't leave the company, cause that's the only way to persuade you to not leave them.

Never ever, go here.

If you dare to use their 7 days supposedly free trial, then don't. They make it very difficult to cancel your membership and when you contact them on day 7 they tell you that your subscription has been renewed for 12 months but you can shorten it to 14 days and they still charge you for £7.99 for that...
There is no number to contact them only by email and of course you don't receive a response on time to cancel during the free trial!... be warned!

Have been using 123 greeting cards for two or three years and have found it a most reliable website for sending cards to anywhere in the world.
Have tried one or two other sites but compared with 123 greetings they were far less reliable.
Well done 123greetings.

This site is clean and helpful, very easy to use. I also think they have a lot of up and coming animators working on these cards. I have used them many times and will continue to do so in the future! Their cards are sooooo cute!

I took the 7 day trial and cancelled after 2 days as the card didn't arrive. I was then charged for a full year and not per month. Even though I cancelled I did not receive any confirmation of this and when I checked my account was still live. Very poor would not recommend

Ive used this site for years. Its usually convenient and, of course, its free. I sent an e-card and set it up to send on the recipients birthday and not the day I set it up. It sent the same day. I received an email that it was being sent both days and then one saying it had been viewed. I reached out to customer service. Theres obviously a glitch or something with the system. They chose to lie to me and deny they sent the card early instead. Its a free card. It should be simple. Instead they lie for no reason. There are several other sites offering the same service. Ill be using them in the future.

I tested sending one of the cards and they said I could cancel the order but then I was charged $39 and their system did not allow me to cancel it for the entire year. This is total rip off because I sent one card which cost me $39.

By submitting email addresses to 123greetings.com you will soon be getting random offers from 123g.biz using kqstw.com and other aliases. Expect they will do the same to your friends. Use this service and get ready for High blood pressure and Diabetes pill spam!

Read their policy statement before trusting them.

I received one of their eCards (electronic greeting cards) in my inbox, from a friend. From there, this website entered me into their mailing list, and claim that I signed up for it, or "requested" to be part of it. Use this website if you want your inbox, and the inbox of your friends to be filled with SPAM, and third party advertising.

Date promised but not delivered.
Because I was not able to leave my home to purchase the anniversary wishes card, I was pleased to find your service but I will definitely not recommend your service or make use of it again. So sad to have missed the occasion, a family milestone.

I have an old email address which is not connected to my mail host software. I access it via webmail. The other day I received an email from 123 Greetings.com at that old email address. After I opened it, they suddenly have my new email address, which I have never provided them with and never used to open an account with them. In fact, I do not use that email address for such purposes at all, and yet, 123Greetings.com have it (and are using it to spam me) coincidentally after I opened an email from them at another account.

Sent my daughter a BD card. Got a confirmation that it was sent. She said she never got it. Checked her spam and bulk. They sent another reminder saying she hadn't viewed it. When I complained that she never got it, CS said they had no record of anything sent from my email. And yet, both reminders came to THAT email. See the problem? These people are morons. Go elsewhere.

Sometimes it works, then it doesn't. Often when I try to send an ecard, it will come up with an error message, "DNC", that recipient doesn't want ecards. I absolutely know this is not true. But it still happens to about half of my family/friends. I have tried to contact 123Greetings, can only do so by email, but usually don't get a response. After paying for a year of service and year is not up, now they can't find my email or log me in. What gives? I am about ready to think this is just a scam site. Very poor service.

I rec'd a birthday card and a gift card came along with it. When I tried to open the gift card, it would not open. So, I signed up with their free 7 day trial, hoping that would access it. It did not SO I IMMEDIATELY sent a email asking how to access the card. Conveniently, they did not answer me until the 7 days was up and ONLY then, sent me a email stating that I would be charged me for the membership rate of $29.88. When I complained, they offered me a"special price" for a 4 month membership. Which I do not want. I simply want access my gift card of $25.00-- which they never have told me how to access. This company is a TOTAL scam! SO, now I am out my birthday gift card as well as the 29.88. I assume they only want access to my credit card number, so I have alerted my credit card company. DO NOT USE!

I got duped into getting this subscription. I was supposed to apparently cancel the trial on new years eve. I couldn't as my internet was down that day, but they wouldn't cancel my unwanted subscription.

My son's birthday is 2morrow and it was so easy to fill out the ecard and it has birthday music. When he receives it their is a email sent to me letting me know that. He is out of the country so sent it to his email. It is free for the ecard and you should take a look at the site it is real nice for sending ecards and music and it IS free. Try it you'll like it. Bye Bye Stuart S.
