This company is way over priced and does not load the truck properly, they are clean and look nice but get pass that the know nothing about the Junk removal business, go with a local smaller company get twice as much for your money and better service. DO RESEARCH just do not hire them for their ads. ALL companies pick up what you point at.

1-800 got junk is horrible, overpriced and a scam. They charged me more money to get rid of my garbage then the movers that moved my good stuff did. The movers packed all my stuff wrapped all my stuff made two stops and set my stuff up for less money than 1 800 got junk charge to take my junk away. Not to mention they probably made two to $300 selling my my good items that I was getting rid of. So they show up at my apartment knowing that they're charging me for volume of truck used and they showed up with junk already in their truck. Then had to make another trip how do I know they couldn't fit all my stuff in there if their truck was empty and charge me for one truck, instead of what they charged me. Scam scam scam.

Got Junk came on Tuesday. Liam and Darian were very polite and professional. They even offered to sweep up different areas for us. Great Employees! This was the 3rd time we have used this company and each time the people who come to the house are the same. Great Company!

The Perth Got Junk team was horrible and abusive on the telephone to me. There was a miscommunication about the method of payment and instead of trying to clear it up was told I was yelled and and told I was the one mistaken. I was then pocket dialled and heard the owner saying words to the effect of "go f*ck yourself" in reference to me. Do not use this abusive business operator

Called and had to wait a week and a half for them to come. I had what I wanted them to take on my porch. A rug, ironing board, 2 boxes of mixed Cd's, DVD's and VHS Videos. Two bags of books and a couple of picture frames and a small color TV in working condition. They quoted me a price of $495.00 and said it would be a $50.00 surcharge for the TV. I. Couldn't believe the price. I thanked them for coming but said the price is way too high. They said they could do it for $425.00 but there was still a surcharge on the TV. I said no and they said the best they could do was $385 and the surcharge. I couldn't believe they were playing, "let's make a deal". I don't like this company, nor do I trust them.

I worked for this company they don't pay enough to do what they do. Their incentive system is a joke. They tell you the hours are 7AM-7PM but you wind up working to 10-11 at night. They give you 4 set days to work and don't ask to change it. When you say something they say " you have to have open availability" after you set your days in the interview and nothing about open availability was ever mentioned. Something needs to change

I live in ******* area code and I would of like to use ur services but I find out u don't do my ares... very disappointing. Cover my area ill give 5 stars. I don't not have a pickup truck to take my sstuff to the dump. Wish I coulda used ur services

Called for estimate, guys showed up thinking going to take away. Made pickup date and when called to confirm they had wrong date. Tried again, had wrong time, tried again everything was a go. On day of pick up was called and was told wrong time and it would be just an estimate. Cancelled everything. Very poor communication, because spoke with serval different site managers and schedulers.

I had a scheduled pickup for 2 items. I was rescheduled 3 times that day and was told the 3rd time it could take awhile to get out to me. At this time it was 5:30pm. Their last excuse was because of the poor weather their truck needed a boost. The temperature was -6c. Then had to dump their load. I can not recommend this company. Lame excuses that don't hold water

We had 1800got junk take away junk that I needed to remove. From the beginning when I called,
The person that I spoke to was friendly. The two gentlemen that came today called and said what time they were coming. They arrived right on time. They were friendly and efficient. I would give them and your company a 10 out of 10. This is the 2nd time we have used their service. The pricing was really reasonable. If you need junk removed 1800gotjunk is the company to use

I received a quote of around $200 for removal of two items. They get here and the price came was almost double. I was very accurate with my description, giving them precise dimensions. I called a company on Craigslist and they are removing my two items for $100. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

Called to see how much this would cosr for my brother home was told a full truck load would cost $300 once they came with the truck they said a full truck load was $680 WOW! This is not the way you do bussiness!

Service came as expected / movers polite, however I recd a call from the Condo association and was told about wall damage and complaints from other tenants that they were reckless while moving 3 large items and a few bags of stuff. I now have 900 $ PLUS BILL FOR REPAIRS and although ive made a claim i can't get an answer from the CS department. PAID 600 $ PLUS TIP, as i wrongly assumed they had done the job professionally one the move down. Nice kids but not experienced movers. Looking back now i should have known they came up with only a trolley no ropes or blankets... they also did not use the service elevator as i mentioned to them hence the complaints from the tenants. I have security camera video and pictures showing their recklessness. Mostly upset about the lack of customer service. I will delete this if they resolve the matter by paying the bill and compensating me for my wasted day of work...

Mom was wanting to get rid of stuff and called 1-800- got junk. They arrived Tuesday, all I will say is They left without any junk! We decided NOT TO USE their services based off their lack of professionalism and trying to make money off my mom- until I stepped in and that was the end of that.

What was funny was JD junk just left and said they had to go to another client after moms because they canceled with 1-800-got junk as well….I couldn't imagine why!

First and last time using 1 800 JUNK
Needed small couch, stuffed chair and 4 kitchen chairs removed.
Business practice of NOT giving a fairly accurate estimate on cost of removing small couch, stuffed chair and 4 kitchen chairs. No estimate given when asked when they phoned to postpone pickup. Said real busy had to rebook for later that day. Was booked for 9:00 am, they called a second time said they would be here in half hour. They arrived at 11:00.2 men came in, no masks, one said he needed to look at sofa and chair. Said cost would depend on how much space items would take in truck. On one end of scale $217 other end $295. One employee guestimated approximately 1/6 of the truck and no price, until all pieces are loaded.
All items loaded within 15 minutes!
4 men on our front step. One employee comes back with debit machine... price now $295. Because its now 1/4 of the truck.

This company is terrible. They give you one price over the phone, when the truck arrive the prices triples. Poor customer service, trying to work something out with the company, to have a few items removed from my garage, the lady was very rude and then hang up on me, this is so unprofessional. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

These Men Were Very Rude to me and told me it costs over $500 to move my 3 items, they also appeared to be unintelligent, when I asked questions they were not really able to answer my question, since they aren't very bright. They refused to give me price over the phone so I had to have them come in person and in Person they wouldn't give me total price for one item, and They weren't willing to negotiate with me period, wish I had never called this lousy company. This company only cares about themselves and they are only looking out for themselves. I am an attractive female who can walk outside and ask a man to move something without having to pay $500.

Prices based on what you have. Told a range once they saw it. Before. Not scammers. Your wrong. The are professional and made me feel I'm not as messy as I know I was. Big weight off my shoulders.

James and Dylan were very professional and friendly! They picked up items from my home on Tues. Nov. 7th 2023. It was a blessing to get a company with good customer service!

Your experience depends on which team shows up - some are honest but others will lie - give u the estimate then stand staring at u telling u the price went up - a real shakedown be aware. Scary

1st call they quoted $100 to haul away a mattress. 2nd call they quoted $150.3rd call the wanted to see the mattress before they could quote. 4th conversation they said that they couldn't come out but it would be $220. They blamed the other quotes on corporate and said that corporate doesn't know how to quote

Great, prompt, courteous service. Quick and efficient. Crew arrived on-time, called ahead to let me know they were on their way, and were very polite and professional.
