In October 2016, I replaced the fuel pump assembly on my 1996 Chevy 4.3 S-10. In January 2019, the fuel gauge became erratic. I had no receipt or paperwork but called Customer Service anyway. Using my phone number, name and address, the Customer Service Representative found my original order and within three minutes replacement module scheduled for shipment. The CSR's knowledge, skills and attitude were both courteous and professional Additionally, she reminded me that I must return the original part, within 60 days, to ensure the continuation of the warranty. The complete call lasted less than five minutes. I highly recommend 1A Auto.
Ordered brake parts from their web site, which had specific instructions using the VIN to identify the correct parts. They did not fit. Called customer service and their response was "You should have called us first." They want as much as the order costs for a return. It's a ridiculous response because the order was made according to their instructions and then the rep states that just calling them would have cleared things up. This is incorrect, unless they were to come to my home and measure the part. Their response is completely self-serving and they obviously do not care for their customers or further orders from individual customers. Avoid these scammers is my advice. They save you nothing and could cost you much. Bad bargain.
I got stuck in CA with a broken down truck, and no auto parts stores had my parts. Ordered the parts overnight because I needed to get back home to UT. Order got cancelled without sending me an email. So on the day of delivery I call in and they couldn't find the order! I heard great things about this company. Just sad that on my first order I got screwed.

Like MV listed below, I too ordered struts from 1A Auto which turned out to be defective as soon as the car was off the lift and being test driven by mechanic. 1A Auto did immediately send out replacements at no cost, however what arrived and discovered when being installed by mechanic; they sent one front strut and one rear strut. Absolutely ridiculous and of course they do not reimburse for labor causing me to spend hundreds in labor not to mention having the mechanic purchase new struts from a local parts store. When discussing the return they wanted me to pay for the return shipping. I refused and later they sent me a return label for the parts. Avoid this company, clearly they are purchasing subpar parts.
I have ordered many parts from 1A Auto. The parts are exactly what I need and if I find out my diagnosis of the problem is wrong they make it easy to return the part for a refund. They even pointed me to a competitor's website because they didn't have the part I need. Great customer service.
I bought a set of brakes and rotors for my 2016 Mazda CX-5.
Everything looked good on receipt so I installed them following a good 1aauto video.
Within driving 200 miles I noticed my gas mileage was deteriorating.
When I took off the brake pads I found that they had 'chunks' missing.
As I need this car I went to local car parts store and bought new brake pads.
After installation mileage was restored.
I contacted 1aauto and was told they would not refund my purchase as I had installed the brake pads.
Having no confidence in their parts I wouldn't have wanted their parts nor would I have been able to
Wait to ship the defective pads back, have 1aauto inspect them, and then ship me replacements.
Maybe local auto parts stores cost a little more but they would have replaced their lifetime warranty

I ordered a part for my car and it came in a short period of time. Got it installed and found that it was defective. Contacted customer service via email and they responded right away. They are shipping a replacement part at no charge and said I didn't have to return defective part. That's great customer service!
I made a purchase and 5 minutes later cancelled. They told me they would delete the order, however next thing I know I get a email stating it's been shipped. So I call them back and they say they will reroute the order so I don't have to worry about it. Next thing it shows up at my door. Now they say I have to pay shipping which is $65 dollars and so I did this and now they say they never got it back which I gave them the tracking number. How do people like this stay in business? Insane

I had ordered a set of O² sensors for my 2010 Ram 1500, one of the sensors is throwing a code to cause my check engine light to come on so I contacted 1A Auto customer service. They asked a few questions to try to troubleshoot shoot if my truck was the problem or the O² sensor. They decided to replace the sensor for me. I will definitely continue to shop with them for replacement parts, and watching their YouTube videos for help on fixing my vehicles.

I ordered a vehicle part based on one of their videos. Part arrived, upon opening the box clearly it did not match the video or the part on my vehicle. The part I received had a round connector, mine is rectangular. No hope of a match. I did not take it out of the part box, closed it, put it back in original shipper. A1Auto "kindly requested" I pay return shipping which I declined. They offered $17 "discounted" (?) UPS return shipping but I used USPS for $14. They received it (tracking number) 2 weeks ago, no $72 refund to date. And the part I received round connector was scuffed like it had been used. I will send them an invoice for the $14.

They are great as long as you dont need to return parts. They wont back there parts fit guarantee. Their filters wont allow you to enter engine size. Purchased parts early while I had the money as I knew eventually my car would need a tune up. Since I did that and parts are past 60 days they are not willing to help or exchange and parts. Their customer service goes down hill if they arent making money

Bought struts for my car guaranteed to fit part did not fit. They tried to renege on guarantee to fit and then tried to charge me for return shipping. Still waiting for my refund. I am sure they will try and keep part of it to cover their mistake I have never seen such a dishonest company online

Purchased 4 O2 sensors. Front 2, upstream went out. They wanted 2 things: 1. Vin # 2. Transmission ID. How am I to crawl under my SUV to find the transmission ID? Vehicle was a Suburban purchased in Nov 2020 w/77K original miles. Be warned! Use only Bosch or AC Delco--not their junk coming from China!
Gets even better! Once they got the Vin#--they claimed I purchased the wrong item--even though they sold it to me as the correct one.! Once they get your money... they are done with you!

Ordered almost a complete replacement for the braking and steering on my 2006 Saturn Vue (Pads, Rotor, and Hub and wheel bearing assembly) a few months ago. Finally got time off or work to be able to change out the parts, making sure to follow manufacturing torque specs for all. I've replaced the parts in the past so was confident that it was done properly. The front driver side wheel bearing popped only 2 days after install. Had a mechanic pull both hubs and pull the bearing from it for new ones. Attempted to contact 1A Auto to make a complaint about fautly parts, they rufused to do anything due to the part being tampered and blame the issue on incorrect torque. Never will use their products and will make sure others in the area are aware of this crappy business
Don't understand why they advertise free 3 day delivery! Bought parts on 8th! I didn't purchase before 2 pm! So part's shipped out on the 9th! Ok, all good! Start tracking order and find out three days just turned into 6 days, tracking says will be delivered Monday the 15th! Really needed parts to repair my truck for getting to work Monday! 3 to 4 Day free delivery would have at least had them to me by Saturday! I called to make and order, didn't have to wait more than a minute to get Destiny take my call. She was very knowledgeable of what I was asking for. The part I like the most was the check out where you don't have to give your card information to her, I did it directly with my phone. If I were in a public place and have to give my card information anyone could hear it. By the way, I made my order yesterday, May 19th, 2022, the part was shipped already as of today, May 20th, 2022. I've been slowly ordering parts for my 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP and they are very reasonable and a lot of the parts come in full kits like for the steering and suspension so you can get it all at one time. Shipping was free and very fast

Purchased a radiator fan assembly in July, it broke slung parts through radiator. Had to replace radiator and fix fan assembly. They were willing to replace fan assembly but not compensate for $160.92 radiator and tow bill $95 plus antifreeze $24 due to their faulty part. They wouldn't even reimburse me the cost of the fan$113. They don't stand behind there product. Your product failed causing other damage you should be liable.
I bought axle from them and it was delivered in 2-3 days and I installed it and everything was good for couple days. Then I started hearing noises from it and vibration. So I sent a email to 1a auto the the axle is defective and next day I received email letting me know that New axle is on it way and they apologize for the inconveniences and if they can do anything else for me because what happened. I am grateful for this fast reply and sending new part right away. I don't see anymore many companies do it this for their customers and giving awesome customer service like 1A auto did for me. I would recommend it 1A auto to everyone. They have good prices and free shipping and great customer service. Thank you.

Junk do not waste your time and money. These parts are junk. Inner and outter tierods lasted less than a year. 7000 miles. Called them about the lifetime warranty and after hours of waiting for them to call me back after being on hold for hours someone called me back that sound like he knew nothing about nothing. I told him his parts was junk and the company would not get another penny of my money. No way I'd put anymore of the junk on any customer or personal vehicle. GARBAGE!

I've used 1A auto for the past few years for myself and my company trucks. The last straw was when I ordered rear rotors and pads and once again, they sent the wrong pads. I have a shelf full of wrong parts. What was different about this order gone bad was that the woman on the phone with me for customer service. She could've cared less that I had the wrong parts. I called on a sat afternoon and the best she could do for a replacement was on that following Wednesday. I went to a local place and purchased the pads I needed. Not only did the parts come on Friday but again... THE WRONG PARTS. AGAIN. WTF.
Anyway... never again. I've spent thousands with 1a and never again.

I ordered one brake kit, I received one confirmation email for the order I placed confirming I only bought one kit. They sent me two brake kits, charged me twice and won't refund me! That is THEFT! FRAUD! This business is crooked and needs to be shut down.
Purchased parts based on what was recommended for my vehicle. The parts they sent did not match the existing part and could not be installed in a manner that would allow for the safe operation of the vehicle. Sent parts back and 1a Auto would not cover the 75.00 return shipping of their defective parts. Save yourself the trouble and go to your local auto parts store. The small amount of money you save on parts does not cover the hassle of their return policy and customer service.
