In October 2016, I replaced the fuel pump assembly on my 1996 Chevy 4.3 S-10. In January 2019, the fuel gauge became erratic. I had no receipt or paperwork but called Customer Service anyway. Using my phone number, name and address, the Customer Service Representative found my original order and within three minutes replacement module scheduled for shipment. The CSR's knowledge, skills and attitude were both courteous and professional Additionally, she reminded me that I must return the original part, within 60 days, to ensure the continuation of the warranty. The complete call lasted less than five minutes. I highly recommend 1A Auto.
Ordered brake parts from their web site, which had specific instructions using the VIN to identify the correct parts. They did not fit. Called customer service and their response was "You should have called us first." They want as much as the order costs for a return. It's a ridiculous response because the order was made according to their instructions and then the rep states that just calling them would have cleared things up. This is incorrect, unless they were to come to my home and measure the part. Their response is completely self-serving and they obviously do not care for their customers or further orders from individual customers. Avoid these scammers is my advice. They save you nothing and could cost you much. Bad bargain.
I ordered some parts that are very specific to my 2007 Ford Focus station wagon. The price was great, the parts were right, they arrived very quickly, and they've been working delightfully well for the past couple months since I installed them. Nothing to complain about!
Radiator last 6 months, they said it was covered but not in stock (it was?), so I had to box it up somehow and ship back on my own dime only to receive a refund which would be a ton of head ache and I'd only get half my money back, I knew I should have purchased it somewhere that had a local presence to make returns easier. These auto parts places are as bad as the shops.
Update: fortunately they sent me a prepaid label that only cost me like $15 or so instead of the $100 I was going to have to pay on my own, but I had to ask for this twice so I'm still not happy but that should be noted.
On the website when ordering a part just because you put in the information given for your vehicle does not guarantee it will fit as claimed. Bought a brake kit that does not fit my car even though it said it would. And now that the box has been opened it is not returnable. I have had decent luck with 1A Auto but due to no refund no exchange and not even a discount on the shipping for the correct part you have lost a customer. Be cautious and don't throw away hard-earned money
Ordered part, part would not fit. I have been doing auto repair for 30+ years. Upon contact I was repeatedly told it must be me doing something wrong. Then after getting upset was told I'd get a refund. They said I'd get a return label but never did. As of yet it's been a week and nothing from company. Never will buy from again!
Hey I goofed and ordered the wrong parts for a car I inherited and was restoring for my son. Since he isn't 16 yet, I didn't really hurry much. Rear struts were fine but when I went to install the front struts, they didn't fit. It had taken me a while to get to this point and I was outside the 60 return window.
I did the online customer service and they rejected my request for a partial credit or return.
After posting about my experience several folks mentioned I should call and talk to them and they would help out. I called, I asked and was politely told No.
No credit, no swap, no support.
This was completely my error, and outside the 60 day window - which I appreciate won't be the case for most repair parts. I'm still a bit frustrated that I have a couple of hundred bucks in brand new struts for an old Mini Cooper that I can't use or realistically resell (and A1 could).

They told me that if I pay for next day air from UPS, they guaranteed that it will arrive on the specified date. It never arrived. They do not know where it is, even by tracking, called UPS, they also said that they have no idea where it is. And I took a day off from work to repair the car. They said they would refund me for the issue, but how does that get the repair done that I need to complete?

Parts arrived when they said they would with exception of 1 rotor that was lost. I called customer service and they shipped another one out same day no questions asked. Installed all parts with no hassle whatsoever. Top quality parts that fit my vehicle I highly recommend 1A Auto for all your parted needs. They are now my go to online parts place!
First let me say the parts I ordered came in one day, yes one day. But I did order the wrong parts and to return was very expensive. After talking with customer service they offered me a lower discount rate on return postage which made things better. It was after all my fault that I ordered the wrong part. Now if the part had not fit they would of covered the return but it was a error in my part. I will order from them again and this time get the correct part ordered.

I try to save money where l can with being on a fixed income. The videos that you make have helped me more than you will ever know. The most recent video helped me replace the window motor on my 2008 Chevy Equinox and l followed it. I had the motor replaced in about 30 minutes. Thank you so much.
Got a headlight from them and then it got condensation within 3 weeks in it. They claim to have a lifetime Warranty, then try to make me pay return shipping? That's not a WARRANTY! That's making the customer pay for something that was a defect in the part. Makes no sense. Manager was no help either. Bad quality parts and bad customer service. Will not purchase from again. Buyer Beware.

I got a drivers' side mirror for my 2013 Civic. It arrived in 4 days, free shipping. It looks just like the original and fits perfectly. I am very happy with their service. I've purchased other parts from them as well and I've had no issues with the parts or with customer service. Their DIY videos are extremely helpful and appreciated. Note: Honda wanted $245 for the mirror. I got it from 1A Auto for $55. It's hard to argue with it.

Was very disappointed in the quality of parts that my husband and I purchased. We purchased a complete set of tire rods and wheel bearing for his 06 dodge ram. Not even a year past and his truck started roaring once again. Today after taking his truck to the mechanic we found out the wheel bearing need replacing again. Same mechanic which replaced the ones from A1 auto. Spent $200 with A1 and had to spend $500 today for parts and labor wish we had just gone this route instead of buying parts from your company. We want be ordering any more parts from your company. There not worth their value especially when you have to have replace the same parts that didn't even last a year.
Sent them email about damaged radiator it arrived with a beat up box, and I'm sure it was sent out that way as never had big problem with fedex delivery still waiting for reply, and don't even waste your time calling them you be waiting for ever

Headlights were faded because of the age. Was going to have them cleaned for $100 dollars. I found new ones for $95 dollars, ordered them, 5 days later I received them, took me less than an hour to install them, they fit perfectly, both headlights and turn signals. Outstanding quality.

To some this may not be important but the quick reply, understanding, and just overall customer service was a relief and a pleasent experience. Unfortunately a quick diagnosis of my issue turned out to be something else. But nonetheless 1A auto contacted me quickly and was able to cancel my order before it left. I ordered a suspension kit for my Ford F 150. It appears I ordered the wrong kit as my truck was made before 11/2004. Also had an issue with the ball joints as they would not press into the A arm. One of the ball joint was damaged. I had to go and buy my A arms locally to finish the job. Called this morning to get a refund and they offered my pennies on the dollar for these parts. Based on percentages, I should have received a $66 refund and they only credited $29. Talked to a CS rep and a supervisor and they were not accommodating in any way. Very disappointed with their lack of concern of a unhappy customer. Most likely will never order from this company again!

Yet my customer support team did make me aware that the refund amount was accurate: when parts in a kit arrive damaged, we refund for the individual cost of the part as it is listed in that kit. If you are researching the cost of the item as it is sold individually (not apart of a kit), you might think that you should have been refunded more money. But since our kits are more economical then buying each part individually, you would be receiving more money back then you should be if we refunded according to the individual price.

In addition to having the specific part I needed, they even have videos explaining installation step-by-step. The price was great and the DIY installation saved me hundreds of dollars. 1A Auto will be the first place I check for future car part purchases.
I find this Company actually cares about what they sell, and that the customers are actually satisfied with the product. I bought two headlights from them, and one headlight seemed not to work correctly. I only had the part number of the headlight. They simply told me their sending me a new headlight at no cost. I did not have to send the other headlight back and they said if I find that my present headlight somehow starts working correctly, they request I donate it to a vocational school. For me this type of service is very rare and hard to find. That is why for now on I will only buy from 1A Auto Supply. Incredible people and an Incredible company.

I've reviewed alot of people stating that 1a auto refuses to repay their customers shipping charges when they send the wrong parts. My advise to these customers is they need to take the next step by calling your C.C. Company and filing a dispute. This may only save you 30.00 or maybe 300.00 and it only takes 5 minutes to place that call. To me it's not just the 30.00 it's the principal behind it. "They screwed up not me"

I bought two new side mirrors for my vehicle and I installed them as soon as I got them. The 1aauto has advertised them with turn signal indicators as well. All connections were installed mirrors have power and can move up and down but turning indicators do not work. I tried contacting customer service and they will complicate your return or resolution.

I have a part that is defective and they WILL NOT replace because they say it is not listed for my vehicle. I provided the part number... offered to take it to the deal and no dice.

1- when they send the wrong part they make you wait and ask you for photos a a bunch of crap just to make it hard to return
2- i returned 1item because I decided it was not needed and let them deduct the cost of the return from my refund … well they estimated the cost of the return 25 dollars but they actually charge 41 dollars. Not very transparent and honest company if you ask me

First of all I only received 2 out of 3 boxes (brake kit) and it was a nightmare dealing with them to get the last one resent. The 2 boxes I did received were completely destroyed and were missing the part numbers. I took it all to a mechanic only to be told the parts were the wrong size. Now (even though their site says "guaranteed to fit") they want me to pay shipping for 100+ pounds of parts to send it back for a refund. They are claiming the ad says it is for the V10 version of my car but the ad does not say that and it says it was supposed to fit! (see pic) Do not order from these scammers!
