Watch out for 60days.nl. They promise a lot when you sing up. But later fail to deliver. My experience afterwards is as follows:
Good point first:
+ I did get my house back in a good shape when I returned from my holidays.
Bad points:
- They were selling my house for as low as half of what we agreed on.
- They didn't screen people visiting the house even though we agreed on screening. We made a clear guest profile together. But already first group of visitors was not fitting the profile.
- They promised login, so that I can see how the renting goes. But for weeks I didn't get it. Only promises. After a lot of demands they gave me a login, where they manually entered visits with no pricing information and no guest profile. Very very poor.
- Worst thing in my opinion was that: On my final invoice from 60days.nl my house was empty for certain dates, BUT there were guests living in my house! So people used my house and I didn't get payed for it.
- 60days as well does nothing if you have cheating guests. In Amsterdam you can rent a room only to 4 people. But one group thought, let's check in with 4, but a few hours after checking 2 more people showed up and lived in the house. 60days was notified but did not address the problem.
How can I know all this? I have a alarm system and vide surveillance around my house. Do you? If you don't I definitely would not trust my house again in the hands of 60days.nl
Tip for consumers:
Do you really how often was your house used while you went on holidays? ... and by whom?
