ACDSee has established a reputation as a cost-effective alternative to Adobe's suite of products, appealing particularly to budget-conscious users who prefer a one-time purchase over subscription fees. Customers appreciate its functionality, noting that it meets a significant portion of their editing needs, especially for those not requiring advanced features. However, some users express concerns regarding its capabilities compared to more established software like Lightroom and Photoshop, suggesting that while it is adequate, it may not fully satisfy professional editors. Overall, ACDSee's strengths lie in affordability and accessibility, while its limitations in advanced editing features could deter more experienced users.

ACDsee is not as good as lightroom, nor is it anywhere close to photoshop for editing. Anyone reading this if you have the money to spend on adobe products, just buy adobe LR and PS. For the rest of us who cannot afford adobe's new business model of monthly fees, ACDsee is a great product. I tried it out and it did about 80% of what I wanted it to be able to do. Best part is it costs the same price as what adobe wants me to pay per month for photoshop cc and lightroom. I would much rather own the software than pay a monthly fee for it. Or worse, pay the $1000 adobe wants for both. Check out ACDsee and unless you are a photoshop wizard I bet it will do everything you need it to do for editing.
