I placed an order and never received it. When I checked, the status showed it was delivered, but my Ring camera footage revealed that it was stolen. I contacted customer service and the support I received was terrible. The representative told me to file a police report so the police could talk to the person who stole the package—an absurd suggestion. I requested to speak with a supervisor but they couldn't get one. The representative then mentioned that their website doesn't state that I'm responsible for paying if the item is stolen (after I asked). Frustrated with how much they suck, I'm now heading to the Better Business Bureau to file a formal complaint. This will be the last time I order anything from them.

I was told a specific number over the phone that my camera was worth. I was selling my beloved camera to pay for my wedding. Then I get to the store and Eric is not there. Remember the name Eric here because he truly needs to be fired. I spoke with his coworker who then gave me a lower number. Then Eric returned and gave me an even lower number than his coworker. I explained to Eric that this was beyond ridiculous and why would I ask for a quote to begin with if he was going to lowball me this much and he knows its to pay for my wedding. Next time I am selling something I truly value, I will go to B and H. And hopefully they dont hire Eric after he is fired here. Someone please fire Eric. And if you are ever selling your things, do NOT speak with Eric as he does not care.
Called in to ask about an item on backorder. As soon as I stated I was going to wait on ordering until stock arrived, I asked a following question and was hung up on promptly. Seems these guys at Adorama only care about taking your order and don't care about any other part of customer service. Learned quickly that this is a company that needs to be avoided.

Well today I ran out of the black ink and I opened the ink, the new ink and tried to put it in my Epson printer, and it wouldn't go in, it did not fit, so I looked at it and looked at it, and sure enough that little things in the back are not the proper fitting for my printer, so I looked at the sales receipt And apparently Epson makes another 157 LLK black ink for probably another machine. I don't know but I did call today. The man hung up on me. He would not let me talk to a manager and then he called me back and asked me if I opened it and I said yes I told you I tried to make it fit today and it wouldn't fit and he just told me you know that it's not returnable. And I'm like what? And then and he already hung up and I was still talking. This is very very bad service that adorama is having I'm 69 years old. Don't need to sit here and wonder why Epson made two ink cartridges with the same look and the same number on it I should not have to pay $33.88 for something because it's past the 30 days that simply ridiculous I need a refund or a replacement. This is unfair. You guys make a lot of money and you should not be taking advantage of us people who just wanna print something.

Slow shipping, took almost 2 weeks. Awful packaging, ripped box right through the "handle carefully" message. This was a piano so you can understand my concern. Thankfully it appears to be working but this is just an unacceptable lack of care.

NEVER EVER purchase from these jokers. I was told by customer service person Julio that I would receive my purchased product in "a few days." I needed it for film shoot. (insert laugh here)
I received an email saying it went arrive 7-10 days later. This is unacceptable and I wanted either a full refund or for them to expedite my purchased product in the promised time.
Was on the phone for an hour going in absolutely nonsensical circles with people that are either oblivious to common sense, or going off of a script. One person from the Philippines had no clue as to what she was saying. We will be sharing our experience with everyone.

They are very shady in the estimates for trade in values. Get different answers and price points. Also pre ordered a body camera, did not ship when came in even though was listed on their website as available and even was told it was in stock. Will not recommend, trade or buy from this company. Not a great experience at all. Customer service is terrible

I did a trdae in and valule changed dependong on trade in for credit or pay out. If trade in for credit which I did, they changed the value because it was applied to a new item. Very shady dealings.
Bought a new piano and was delivered pretty quick. The piano did not come into original packaging, but an open box. The package was 3 boxes taped together. Without the original packaging, I am not able to send in the mail in rebate. Customer service said they will try to find the box as a solution, which tells me they don't care about customers and quality of their company. I am now getting harassed to return the item which I was told to wait for two days. I hope they figure out their mistake and make it right to the customer.

Adorama is a great company and I like supporting them with my business but UPS could do better for their customers. My shopping experience was easy enough, but receiving my package became a distressing problem when the package missed two deliveries. I finally picked it up today, however, and I am very happy with the camera.

If you can, use USPS for shipping or have the package go to a UPS Customer Center.

They sent a Camera we ordered with NO battery. Can't use the camera without the Battery. Their service is Pathetic. Horrible. They take Saturday off instead of sending the Battery. The people that work there are extremely unprofessional and rude. They could care less. Please do not buy from Adorama.

Nikon D850. I could not use it as they shipped it missing a battery. It took forever to get them to ship the Battery. They do not work or ship on Saturday. Ridiculous service and extremely unprofessional.
What a horrible experience. Their arrogance is unmatched by their ability to lie and deceive along they way. They tell you what you want to hear and have no problem in breaking promise after promise. To make matters worse they charged my debit card an additional $1500+ without even telling me. No apologies, just more arrogant responses. Adorama is not to be trusted. If you choose to do business with them I recommend you use extreme caution. Especially the Used and Trade department. It took them 3 months to deliver on their original two week promise. Look below for more lies from Adorama.
I returned Helens email (see her comments below) with a description of what happened and copies of more than 25 emails detailing the issues at hand. Including emails from Adorama admitting their mistakes. I'm yet to hear back from her.
Very good experience shopping with these guys, great prices and selection. Only complaints are the shipping took extremely longer than normal on one of my purchases and Ive had to be refunded once for unknowingly purchasing something on back order, overall this is an amazing site for photographers and consumers to shop.

It takes customer service 2-3 days to respond to my messages. Not only that, but they gave me the wrong tracking number and said my package won't be shipped until after Christmas even though I'm my initial message I prefaced it with, I need this by Christmas. I then took out a credit card to pay for this from this company, still working on trying to get a refund or product so my wife can have a Christmas present...
I ordered studio lighting and three used professional cameras from them. I asked them to take one back so I could buy a different one. The model I purchased has an issue with my lenses. Sadly I was a couple weeks outside there return period. My business, at this point, is part time. So, it took me a while to figure this out.
All they offered was a trade in that would take me to the cleaners. Greedy company that does not care about it's customers. Shop elsewhere!
I ordered a Drone bundle. One of the items included did not work. I have sent several messages to several different email addresses and have not received a single reply. When competitors like B&H provide excellent customer service, there is no reason to risk doing business with Adorama. There are a lot of recent 1 star reviews all over the internet. I assume they have had employee problems post-pandemic, but the reason doesn't really matter. Other places are still providing much better customer service and support.

I ordered an iPad via Adorama.com and two days later received an Email stating that they have cancelled the order because of: "The reason is this item is only sold in our store and not through the Internet."
In the mean time, I have already purchases an extended warranty and had to cancel it with penalties. When inquired their reply was: "We do not even hold them in our warehouse for
Shipping."
I tried several times to order headphones at a good price. I live in another country, and I just wanted them to be sent to the address of my carrier, who then delivers my orders to me. The order did not go through PayPal, because Adorama only accepts orders with a phone number from 10 to 11 characters. I wonder what to do for buyers whose phone number is longer or shorter?
When paying with a credit card, they constantly stopped my order, saying that the payment data did not match, although I specifically ordered a statement from my bank, and filled out my billing address exactly. Technical support there is absolutely useless, or they repeat the same thing, or they say that it is beyond their competence.

Adorama charged my credit card for an unauthorized charge and shipped me a lighting stand I did not order. It took months of emails and calls to customer service (which is all now done in the Philippines) just for them to have the package picked up and returned and then my bank went after them to get the money back. It was a nightmare! If they have your credit card on file, watch out, they are total scammers.
I ordered a $300 guitar, specifically an ibanez. It arrives snapped in half, with absolutely no due diligence on having protective packaging whatsoever. When I reported this to them three separate times, the first time I was told not to bring chocolate, and the second time I was hung up on, and then the third time the supervisor hung up on me. They will absolutely take your money, and sell you defective product with absolutely no recourse for replacing the item. They did not treat you fairly, they will treat you like $#*!.

For me personally, I would rather die in a car wreck than to ever use this company. Literally my death would appease me more than using this company because at least death is absolutely certain I would die, but with this company you're absolutely certain to get broken product at full price.

This review is for international customers only, while they do have a huge selection with reasonable prices, their customer service and shipping services for international customers is outright horrible.
I had ordered some equipment for the office a few weeks ago, they shipped it to the wrong place, by that i mean they shipped it to another country altogether. Now after 1 month of haggling with their less than competent customer service reps, they are offering to recall the shipment back to its origin but they want to charge me for shipping and "other expenses" incurred to them. I find that completely unreasonable and i am planning to forward the case to consumer protection. I sincerely hope nobody has to go through such unpleasantness.
I ordered an item before Christmas for my daughter. Mid March still hasn't been shipped. Called to cancel. The money they held for payment will not be credited for at least 7 business days. Almost four months and I never received the item!

Adorama.com sells items (in my case, a $500 camera) that are not in stock. They do not inform you before hand that it will be backordered and shipped when it becomes available. This is an unethical business practice. Other companies will inform buyers and put on their website: "Not in Stock" or "Pre-order Here."
I regret dealing with them recently. I was shopping for a good price on used (E+ quality) cinema camera for several months. Finally there was a deal, price was sweet and the camera was technically new. The next day the order was put on manual HOLD. Then they started to ask me questions about my landline phone! Not a cell. I realized that they do not have camera in stock. Just a false advertising to attract more internet traffic. They are clowns

When you buy online, you dont know what you always get. The item was way more bulky than expected. Here is the problem. It did cost me $50 to ship it back to Adorama. They dont even provide you a shipping label, they could because they have preferred rates with UPS or Fedex but they dont. I called their CS twice... End of the story. DO NOT buy from a store that do NOT offer free returns OR at least provides you a return shipping label at a discounted cost... $50 out
