All art is very personal. Afremov's paintings reached out to me. After hanging my first Aremov in my office, I ordered two more. The first one is adorned in evening blues with wet, glistening ground, "Misty Mood." The two that now surround it are autumn scenes with fabulous fall colors. I have actually ordered two more - a winter scene and another, smaller autumn scene. A couple of weeks ago I learned that my 25-year-old grandson has also been charmed by Afremov art. We searched together on the site and chose "Lilac Fog" and a frame. I purchased it for him as a gift for his recent promotion. Service on the site is excellent, and questions are responded to promptly and courteously. I am a retired high school teacher and college professor, who specialized in the speech arts: drama, public speaking, oral interpretation, discussion and debate technique. I am an amateur guitarist, who owns a collection of 22 fine guitars, most created by a Paraguayan luthier, Renato Bellucci. My wife and I have filled our walls with art, mostly landscape scenes from Colorado where we had a second home for 25 years. But most of our hanging art has been done by my wife who is a water-colorist, a photographer, and a felter. She is my favorite artist. I would prefer not hanging anything in my home that she has not created. But I found Afremov's work irresistible, and I am grateful to have found the site, and now to own some his creations.

A picture is worth a thousand words, so please look at the comparisons. Even with the refund, ordering these (mediocre) paintings has cost me a lot of money (and time). I think you have to get lucky, but honestly, I would never order from their website again. If you do; insist on seeing the paintings that will be sent to you beforehand.
I ordered 4 paintings on 10 July. I was so happy when the first one arrived. Unfortunately, I haven't received any of the others and no emails saying they've shipped. I have sent multiple emails all of which received polite replies telling me they would ship in 2 to 3 days. It is now 18 November and I've tried calling, I 've tried using the website's chat function. I'm still waiting on about $600 worth of paintings. I really want the paintings but am starting to feel like I've just been scammed. ***Update: All paintings arrived and they are gorgeous. I've upgraded my review but still can't go above 3 stars since it took quite a bit to get the remaining paintings.***

I ordered an original recreation of Michael Jackson done by Leonid himself only to receive a painting from an amateur that did not resemble the original at all or even look like MJ. I reached out to the studio and had difficulty getting a response. When they finally responded, I was told there were no more original recreations and so it was done by artists in the studio and would vary from the original. This is not what I ordered and is fraudulent. I have bought from them prior to Leonid's passing and had no issues. I do not believe that if Leonid were still alive that he would allow this to be happening. Customer service is rude, and the Afremov studio does not seem to care they are ripping people off and tarnishing Leonid's name... truly shameful.

Dishonest company I feel ripped off, they advertise good quality copies with misleading photos. I bought and received a very poor quality copy. Do not buy. They should post photos of the paintings they sell, not the original painting. Be careful (see the pictures publicited vs received).

The pictures I received were very different in colour, texture and quality compared to the beautiful originals advertised online. These are reproductions done in the Afremov studio by trained artists however the work of person who painted mine felt like that of an amateur art student rather than a professional artist.

The team however did try to be helpful and were responsive to my emails.

City landscapes are unique! I've never seen anything like that anywhere. Honestly, I really want to buy the entire collection of urban landscapes, I'm a fan of them! But so far I have only purchased "Italian Rain" and "Cafe in Paris".

Pretty annoyed to find only two paintings have arrived rather than the three that we ordered. This will mean another airport charge as everything imported has a cost for them to screen etc which is not cheap and per package. How do you get this wrong? Also will mean another 6 week wait.

After renovation and getting rid of most of the old stuff in our house, its walls missed something. Then my wife showed me this website, and we chose 3 paintings together. I like to look at them when I get home, I would even say they are warming.

There are very few artists who can paint in so many directions as Afremov. He can create magnificent landscapes. The paintings with seas and water look marvellous. Every painting created by the artist is a small masterpiece. I think sooner or later they will be exhibited in the best world museums and galleries.

I am collecting interesting works in the field of painting, and I liked what this online gallery has to offer. Russian artists are amazing people. I was always attracted by their look at ordinary things. Afremov is definitely my favorite Russian artist now.

I stumbled upon these paintings through a link on some forum. There dudes wrote that here you can easily buy paintings at a low price. High quality is more important to me than money, of course. Therefore, I bought the most expensive staff and was delighted.

Ordered 2 recreations by Afremov - Venice, Gondola and Angel of Love. Delivered quickly in the USA, nicely wrapped. I had a tracking code and knew where the painting was at any time. Afremov's paintings are true art. Now, probably, there is not a single person who would not be familiar with these lively and inspiring paintings. It's a pity that this man passed away so early in life, but thanks to his family for making a studio and continuing the artist's work.

The canvas arrived well packed; it was not damaged during transportation. All perfect! Placed in a frame, one of these days I will hand it over. But now I'm not sure: I wanted a similar thing to my home too! Thank you, everything was fine - both quality and delivery.

The Gateway to Amsterdam is like a photo. I had the impression that I'm standing there by the bridge. Sometimes even photos in HD look worse than this painting. A really talented artist with his peculiar manner.

When I saw two paintings by Leonid Afremov Magical Ballet and Blue Dress my heart bit with delight – I've never seen anything like it – it's like 2 elements – Ice and fire! Just like in the books and films by George Martin. By the way, I'm a very big fan of this series – so all doubts were immediately left behind. I bought the both paintings at once on the site afremov.com. The quality is amazing! Thanks to the artist for his work!

Since the Renaissance period, I thought that there would be no talented artists. When I saw paintings created by Afremov, I changed my mind. It is hard to compare these paintings with Da Vinci's works, but they are still perfect. It is a new vision of reality, something that touches peoples' hearts.

This artist impressed me from the first time I heard about him. His paintings are recognizable, not to be confused. In real life, they are even more beautiful, because of brighter colors, interesting texture, because they are painted with a palette knife.

I really wanted to buy a painting by Leonid Afremov Neuschwanstein-Magical Castle. I love it with all my heart. In general I'm fond of old castles. At first, I was afraid to make an order, who knows how the paintings will reach from a distant country. But everything is fine, thank you, even the certificate for the paintings is there, the order came without any problems.

I am an avid fisherman, my friends gave me for my birthday a painting by the artist Afremov "Morning Fishing". I've never ben interested in such things before and never heard of such an artist, but I liked the painting so much that I started looking for information. To bad the artist has left this world, how much more he could have done. And thanks to his children that continue his work. Such talent should not be lost.
