It took approx. 4 months after my order (and the deposit) to arrive and be installed. Time might have been shorter had the installer not canceled delivery two times. On delivery, the installer tried to explain to me that they would not be able to anchor the carport due to the asphalt. I told him that I had paid for anchors and I wanted them installed. He said he would try. So they did install the carport with the ground anchors as I instructed. It took them approx. 2 1/2 hours to complete. I watched the entire time to be sure no more shortcuts would be taken. So far all is fine. I did not care for the installers hastle for sure a healthy price, but all seems fine now.

I appreciate the ease of using the website and the customer service that I have received when I called in to ask questions. However, it did take almost the full 8 weeks to get it which put us in colder temperatures to get building insulated in for the winter. Overall quality of the building is alright but the doors are not as strong for security purposes as I would've liked. I will propbably have to replace roll up door with a regular garage door and the side entry door with a steel door.

Thank you for the discount as compensation for a less than desirable experience with Carolina Carporch. I stated previously that Allen's customer service was very professional and prompt. I am very happy with the quality of the building and the price I paid. I recommend y'all use a different vender to installation. Thanks again for the discount and most importantly, thank you for being a trustworthy and honest company.

I did call to change the color and the person I talked with on the phone was very friendly and there was no problem with the changes. Very good company to deal with! I would recommend them to anyone,

I've had carport for a couple months now. Very pleased with carport and quality but wish I had either ordered a slightly higher one (I got 7' legs) or hadn't closed the front so I could put my suv in it with kayak on the roof. That was my mistake and carport is exactly how I ordered it and looks great

alansfactoryoutlet.com was fine to deal with. I had some product questions and they responded promply and even sent some product spec details to help me answer my question.
We had numerous difficulty with the Carolina Carport people, and the installers they used. Didn't communicate well. Didn't show up to install the unit.

Ordering from Alan's Factory Outlet was very easy and speedy. When I realized that the car port wasn't high enough, I called and they were happy to change the order. I'm very happy with Alans factory Outlet.

My original review was a negative one and for good reason. The issue was finally resolved today when the owner contacted me via phone. Here's the history - I ordered a carport online and was quoted a price of 1695. 00. A day later when i was ready to sign off on the order, a rep for the company emails me stating the price was additional $700. The rep informed me that i did not pick a state, which was not correct the site requires a selection and yet the site had no problem calculating the correct taxes for my state. I spoke with a rep the same day I placed my order and the rep confirm the order was accepted and i was good to go. I spoke with the company and they couldnt explain why my price was different online vs the finalized price. I'm going to assume the glitch occurred on their end but they refuse to accept responsibility for the error. The rep simply refurageted her original response. The error was on their end and they should have tried to rectify the issue. Canceled the order and imploring others to be careful if you plan to do business with this company.

Update: I spoke with the owner and he has agreed to honor the original quote and even waived the required deposit. We spoke for 30 min and hashed it all out. The owner, Alan seems like a decent guy and wanted to resolve the issue. I wish more companies would do business like this. I was a little surprised this problem even arose as I received several personal recommendations about the company. They provide quality materials at a fair price. I'm just glad we were able to resolve the issue. If you're looking for a carport or garage, this might be your company.

I made sure I told all of you involved I was DEAF. I expected some trouble but the stress was beyond. My husband has a brain injury from an accident several years ago. The people carolina carports sent were Latino. They called 3 Times. On the third call I explained I was DEAF and would carry the phone to a hearing person. Which was my husband! The Latino on the phone kept saying 143 while my husband kept saying 133. The problem was the latino was saying he was on hywy143 while my husband kept repeating our address is 133! I wanted to shoot myself! I didn't know what was going on. They finally found us. By then I was very angry! And the receipt said (hearing impaired) and I don't even think they knew what DEAF meant when I told them! THANK GOD IT'S OVER!

Very pleased with order process. Had questions answered on phone before placing order. Great experience so far!

Building is up and 1/2 full..

I was a bit obnoxious but the girls kept their cool at customer service. Handled ALL my concerns and questions in a timely fashion. Thanks for putting up with me!

Product is good, delivery excellent, set up fair. A pretty big mess was left on my new driveway, there are error holes in the steel, and some bars are open to the weather.

The carport arrived on time,the crew did a professional job assembling it,the price was very competitive ad if we need another building we know who to call

Good prices, love the free delivery and installation. Looks like a good christian company to do business with. I wish fulfillment could be quicker than 1-3 months

These installers don't play around they got here early in the morning and within four hours had my 30 by 24 garage installed and we're on our way. Great job!

This will be my third building from Alan's. They are great. It may take two months to get your building but it's worth the wait when necessary. Very good quality, installed exactly as desired.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY…. They will promise you a 8 to 10 week delivery and it does not happen there

Wish I would have built my carport to store my horse trailer years ago. Everything went smoothly. Installers were awesome! No problems at all ordering or paying. I recommend Alan's!
