Very impressed w/ orderly arrangement of products for sale, e.g., music, books, movie, etc. Makes sense! Also, the choice of sellers is easy to understand & navigate--I contacted one book seller Solr by email to find out if the used book they were selling was highly dusty (allergies) & they emailed back w/ details & evident concern. Alibris is now my "go-to" source for great prices, selection & quality of sale. Thanks for doing a great job!
Very Difficult to change shipping address. Had to quit internet browser and log back in again. Shipping choices limited. I know from past purchase that independent sellers can take their sweet time shipping items and often do. Why does alibris appear to charge at 1st class parcel rates and deliver at slower and cheaper media mail rate? Delivery window excessively wide.

Alibris has good products and sellers: sometimes shipping seems a bit high... especially when multiple like items are coming from the same seller. For example, it cannot realistically cost $15 to ship 3 CDs or DVDs from the same seller! So I just eliminated half my order.
I've bought from Alibris (Abebooks) for years as a guest or by signing in.

Good resource, accurate descriptions, and most sellers are very reliable. The shipping charges are a bit pricey considering that multiple items (to the same address) from the same seller do not have a sliding scale for shipping charges.
Have used alibris for many years. Alibris is one of my three resources I always check for availability and best price.

I always check with Alibris books to see if they carry a book that's on my reading list. They usually have what I'm looking for at a great price. Their books arrive without highlights, no underlining or margin notes which can be very distracting.

Not only do my books always arrive in a timely fashion for a great value, they are often in better condition than described. Most recently I ordered a popular vintage hardcover cookbook for $19 & it just happened to be from the library of Cary Grant- steal of a deal :)

I'm a repeat customer for Housing Works Online Bookstore via Alibris. The books are always in the condition that they describe and arrive quickly - usually less that a week. I also feel good about buying from them as they are a charity, too. Highly recommended.

Alibris has connections to sellers of all kinds of books across the world and I found a book that I had not seen in about 45 years. It was expensive but that is understandable for something that only had a limited number of copies printed. The seller was helpful in answering my questions and sent it off promptly when I ordered it. Shipping (international) was by well known US carrier but took rather longer than expected (over 2 weeks).

The prices were lower when comparing to other used book sites! However it took longer than I anticipated for my other to ship. Contacting a live customer service rep was impossible. After several emails over a few days I received a response. Soon after my items shipped.
Would be nice to be able to speak with a person or at least receive a prompt email that you can tell isn't auto generated

I love shopping Alibris for all kinds of books. I'd just read a bunch of chef memoirs and wanted to gather the cookbooks from these authors. Buying these books new would have cost a fortune, and I didn't need them to be new. I found them in pristine used condition from varying purveyors via Alibris and was happy with the book and shipping costs. Items arrived quickly and in excellent condition.
