Very impressed w/ orderly arrangement of products for sale, e.g., music, books, movie, etc. Makes sense! Also, the choice of sellers is easy to understand & navigate--I contacted one book seller Solr by email to find out if the used book they were selling was highly dusty (allergies) & they emailed back w/ details & evident concern. Alibris is now my "go-to" source for great prices, selection & quality of sale. Thanks for doing a great job!
Very Difficult to change shipping address. Had to quit internet browser and log back in again. Shipping choices limited. I know from past purchase that independent sellers can take their sweet time shipping items and often do. Why does alibris appear to charge at 1st class parcel rates and deliver at slower and cheaper media mail rate? Delivery window excessively wide.
Shipping is slower from the alibis warehouse but if you have the time and want to save on shipping it's a nice option. Private sellers were fast for my Christmas order, but everything arrived on time and in condition expected or better

Only suggestion is packaging: the root children book was in bubble envelope and delivered to mailbox. It got slightly dinged, but still in good enough shape to give a toddler who will do far worse the first week of handling.

The prices were lower when comparing to other used book sites! However it took longer than I anticipated for my other to ship. Contacting a live customer service rep was impossible. After several emails over a few days I received a response. Soon after my items shipped.
Would be nice to be able to speak with a person or at least receive a prompt email that you can tell isn't auto generated

I ordered a double CD of Harry Chapin's first two albums, but one of the CDs was missing. This the first time in 25 years that Alibris has disappointed me so badly. I have not heard anything about my request for a refund.
I have not received a response, and I remain unsatisfied.
I am a long-time Alibris customer, and I loath Amazon.

Alibris has connections to sellers of all kinds of books across the world and I found a book that I had not seen in about 45 years. It was expensive but that is understandable for something that only had a limited number of copies printed. The seller was helpful in answering my questions and sent it off promptly when I ordered it. Shipping (international) was by well known US carrier but took rather longer than expected (over 2 weeks).

My favorite place to find old books. I've been ordering books from Alibris for years and it's my go to when I want to find an old out of print book. There have only been two books that I haven't found yet, but no doubt some day I'll find them on Alibris. Love this site and will continue to use it!

Great price from thrift store. I have never had a bad experience with this company. I also sell items using their site and have been very pleased with the quality and service. I highly recommend them over amazon or any other seller for books, dvds, and music.

I was looking for a specific book for my husband for Christmas and the only vendor I found that had the book in stock (used/in great condition) was Alibris. They charged a very fair price compared to other online retailers for this book and the shipping was fast. Purchasing from them was an easy, efficient process with no problems. I'll be searching for hard-to-find books from now on from Alibris!
They offered better overall pricing for the book I wanted, including shipping pricing. A much better deal than the absolute price gouging that I saw on this book on other websites like eBay. Very happy with my purchase!

Great range of options, reasonable prices, easy to navigate website, fast service—everything about using alibris makes sense and is a superior experience to Amazon. Do not use Amazon. There is no reason to use Amazon instead of Alibris. Jeff Bezos is the human equivalent of a piece of food stuck between your teeth. In addition to contributing some unthinkable amount of money to Donald Trump's inauguration party, he treats his employees like toilet paper while blasting himself into outta space. Truly we are living in the second Gilded Age. Use Alibris.

I've been a customer for many years. Books come in a variety of packaging, but I cannot recall a book ever being damaged by shipping. For titles of great rarity, I very seldom will resort to abebooks.com, also a conscientious firm.
I've been with the firm a long time. Inventories are deep and the software doesn't give me fits.

My only suggestion would be to give the size of trade paperbacks in the description. In the small ones, the print is too small for senior eyes.

Prices changed as I was checking out as did book availability. Shipping was not much usually but today I paid a fortune! I don't like not knowing until after I paid. Buying used unwanted books from Amazon is looking attractive to me now.

When your follow-up asks if I received an order, I have to look up the date in my history to see what the item was. I order frequently from you and other vendors and don't keep track of what, where, and when I ordered specific items. If you named the item(s) in my order it would be helpful.

Site is easy to negotiate; order acknowledgment emails received at lightening speed. Order despatch from one GoodWill store in Wisconsin was slow - upwards of two weeks from memory. The second GoodWill store shipped within a few days.
