Alibris

It's easy and quick to find the books I want when I come to Alibris. The used books are actually of very good quality - I have ordered Very Good and Good rated books and found very little wear of them and nothing making them even the slightest unreadable. I usually donate them to my local library after reading them in fact!

Shopping and delivery was no problem, it came quickly as possible. However, I ordered two different items, which I thought would arrive at the same time, but, each item was delivered separately. I ordered "The Simpsons" season 9 and season 7. Season 9 came first and there was no problem with that. However, season 7 came a week later and two of the disk couldn't play. I quickly emailed the problem and customer service was really happy to replace the product, which I'm really happy for. I'm glad they fixed the problem quickly.

I ordered the simpsons season 7 on DVD. Two of the disc within that season did not play very well in certain episodes were disordered or could not play at all. I went ahead and contact customer service and they were more than happy to fix the problem and sent me a new season 7 DVD.

Shipping was efficient, the condition of the book I would was a little less than "very good" since there were marks along the spine. I would say it wasn't completely accurate, but overall the pages were okay.

Took 3 days to acknowledge/confirm recorder placement, then about 7-10 days for delivery. Disappointing since it was supposed to have shipped from NJ and I had the option to pick it up. That part doesn't make sense, shipping from NJ to PA shouldn't take 7-10 days.

I started reading through Carthy McCormack books and the library had no Suttree books available so I decided to purchase the book. In looking at many different options, I went with Alibris to see what it was like. I was able to get a decent quality copy of the book at a reasonable price. Thank You.

I placed my order and quickly received an email saying my order had shipped. The email gave me a tracking number. When I went to check it a few days later that tracking number was invalid. The number was a UPS tracking number. Then I went to the website and it had a different tracking number through 17track. The 17track number was also invalid. I sent an email asking for an accurate tracking number and let them know I felt like I was being scammed at this point. The reviews for this website really scared me when I read them (too late I know.) After my email, I received a response with an accurate tracking number and the book arrived. There were no issues with the book itself. Had they given me the correct information initially they would have had 5 stars all the way across.

They were able to give me the accurate tracking information after I had been given 2 other incorrect tracking numbers

I think that after I put a better quality used book in my cart, I could not move forward in purchasing it, because I had to reset my password. Not that one thing was because the other, but I think there's a glitch that if a book is in a cart from a prior window, it didn't seem to be available once I signed in.

A reprint of Ja med Talbot Wheelers trip in Burma. Enlightening. I'm biased however. As he was the brother of Alfredo Peter kin Wheeler who was my great great gradfather. All of JT Wheelers books are good especially those covwring India and the nation's around it. This I l one is about a river jourey in Burma. The description of the people of that time and scenery is excellent. He had a great affection for the people's of the Indian subcontinent and some wry observations about the British experience there.

All of the books I have needed for courses have been available and provide the texts in different formats. I have returned to this site after I bought one textbook from this platform before and the book was the correct edition and in good condition!

The ordering, prices, and communication were great. I had to spend a little time removing some stickers from a few of the books when they arrived. The condition of the books I ordered matched the condition on the website.

I love Alibris choices for my book club books. However, sometimes there's confusion when an order is cancelled and I need to re order. I understand this though and accept the possibility that my book has been "sold" to someone else in the "blink" of an eye. I wish I could save on shipping costs by getting several books from the same seller, but even when "maximized" it doesn't save me any costs. I do love the convenience of having my books shipped to my doorstep.

I have never been able to use a coupon. I try my best to order from the same seller and still pay the shipping cost for each book. We know that media mail is not that expensive and also that when you send 2 books together you don't pay separate mailing charges.

The process couldn't be easier. Simply enter the name of the book you are looking for and like magic you will get an incredible amount of formats, dates, binding, publishers. You prick what you think it's best for you.

I absolutely love that these books get passed along from person to person, generation to generation, so grateful to have found Alibris. My only complaint is that shipping cost start to become high after a few books from private venders

I was giving up hope of finding 29th volume of Negima for normal price.
After searching up and down internet for almost a year I found this offer. Seller had a lot of positive reviews and price was better then I saw in a while and so I took a chance.

Not even a month for international delivery and manga was in almost mint condition after it's journey.

I recived tracking number for package but after few days it showed as delivered when I didn't recive anything. After contacting customer service I got quick reply that it was tracking to yours processing center and that my package will be sent from there.
They confirmed my delivery address and set a time frame in which I should get my book and to let them know if it didn't arrive.

Glad to find the book but the shipping was higher than expected. Chose the book because it was listed at $3.49 shipping but in checkout it changed to $4.99, even though it ships from Half Price Books Dallas to me in Dallas, so your disclaimer wasn't affected by proximity of shipper.

I remember reading about a book nearly 40 years ago but was unable to find or purchase it at the time. But the recollection has remained with me during all that time. Finally, I had the opportunity to search for it again and found it here. The delivery was timely, and the book itself arrived in excellent shape. Even better, it has more than met the high expectations first raised all those decades ago.

Found 2 rare DVDs easily by entering name, very reasonably priced and reliable quality, Shpping was relatively quick.(disces came from different places and shipping was quick in one but slower for the 2nd.)

I wanted an old title by JAC Weller, part of his trilogy on Wellington. The book had not been reprinted recently. I was able to find a used copy on Alibris at a reasonable price. It shipped from the seller within 24 hours, and was on my reading shelf in a little more than a week.

Forgot uncheck billing address same as shipping address. Could not go back to correct. Went out snd came back, unchecked but next step found automatically rechecked. Went out and had to use different credit card. Order did not ask for billing address which is 8996 huntington pointe dr, sarasota, fl *******

I would shop here so much more if they didn't charge so much for shipping. Most places now give you good deals on shipping but not this company. I do like the selection and quality of thier products though.

I had not heard of Alibris until I was shopping for several copies of a textbook that is no longer in print. I was delighted to find multiple copies that were all reasonably priced. Although the books were coming from different locations, all arrived quickly and in good condition. I highly recommend Alibris for used book purchases!

I do not want you to save my credit card information! I want you to let me know that you have not saved my credit card information. This should always be an option for the customer. Without that, I would not buy from you again and I would not recommend you. I have used you before and come back. But with this change, I will not.
