Actually ordering the product was stressing. The prices kept changing and the lowest price would not show up on different browsers. After multiple refreshes I finally made it show up.

The sellers are slow to respond and with little useful information. I have taking my business elsewhere due to the lack of timely communication and inability to answer simple questions.
I wanted to give this seller a chance even though they have the problems I mentioned above. Lack of communication and knowledge of product. If this transaction goes poorly I wont be doing business with them aging despite the money I would save and will detour my business with Alibris overall.

I don't like how shipping costs are a wild card when buying books on Alibris. It would be nice to have shipping costs or estimated shipping costs shown alongside prices.

Although shipping is high I like to support smaller businesses and don't mind used books because even with high shipping, brand new is still more costly.
Had all the books I wanted with reasonable cost but high shipping but less than if I bought brand new at least.

I am assuming that the new updated version at over 300 pages out in 2018 includes the information from book 1 and book 2 unless that information had become outdated?

I found an out-of-print book on Alibris that was four times cheaper than it is on other sites, including Amazon. Assuming it arrives it decent condition, I'm happy with Alibris.
I searched for the book on Google and Alibris offered the best price.

One star, because:
I saw the words "THANKS FOR SUBSCRIBING" in my email. This is very infuriating and scary. I only want to buy ONE book, make ONE purchase and pay ONCE for ONE book that I purchased ONCE. I DON'T want to see my credit card debited over and over again each month because I have been tricked into "subscribing" into something.
Please email me back at *******@protonmail.com and reassure me that I have NOT subscribed to any paying services and that my credit card will NOT be debitted over and over again.
I just wanted to buy one book. I don't want to subscribe to anything that will cost me money on a recurring manner. I am poor, I bake pies for a living, my boss is the devil in person and I earn minimum wage. I cannot afford any recurring fees.
If you want FIVE STARS, don't subscribe me to anything. Just process my order, ship my book and I will study happily ever after and grant you a well deserved 5 stars.
Until then, Because you have scared the living hell out of me with the word "Subscribe", I give you one star. DON'T scare away your customers like that.

The $17.17 price of the book,", Bush Aglow," published by Baker Books in 1977, which I have bought from ThriftBooks via alibris was too high but within my limited means.
However, the asking price for the same paperback book in the same basic condition from Bonita at $54.64 and $66.66 as well as MoreBooks at $58.52 and GridFreed at 82.75 are all four (4) books are exhorabantly high -- far, far beyond the fair market value for the identical book in similar condition. How can I negotiate more reasonable (much lower) selling prices from these three book sellers? I am a missionary living on a very limited income and an alumnae of the Moody Bible Institute qand said book seller would be exceptionally GOD-blest if they could accommodate my request. In advance thank them for their GOD-pleasing cooperation.
