Again, your webpage is very difficult to use. Please check out Amazon's layouts for books by the same author, such as Lindsey Martin-Bowen, who is buying these books to give for Christmas. (I would have preferred to buy two of the first book (CASHING CHECKS with Jim Morrison) in lieu of its first of the series (CROSSING KANSAS with Jim Morrison) because I have many copies of it at home. But your website would not let me buy a second copy of CASHING CHECKS. Why?
Initially to order another copy of AMERICAN CRIMINAL COURTS, which I teach at Blue Mountain College. Then, I discover you're selling my books, too.

Your site is difficult to use because when I had to change my password (because I'd forgotten it, I had to go through many pages to return to the checkout page. Further, on that page, I applied for a $5 coupon, (which I didn't receive), then I had to click on two or three pages to return to the check out page.
I used it because I teach AMERICAN COURT SYSTEMS & PRACTICES and use this text. (Even if old, it remains current.) I purchased four books earlier in the fall for my students. (The term begins January 8.) Blue Mountain College has closed its Criminal Justice Dept. Thus, this will be the last time this class is offered. It seemed ridiculous to use a new text.

Originally the first copy of AMERICAN CRIMINAL COURTS was only $1.49--but that was before I signed in--and it became lost. I wouldn't care so much, but you see I am buying these books for the final American Court Systems & Practices Class I will teach for Blue Mountain College next January. So I'd hoped to keep the cheaper one.
Alibris is selling my books that Pierian Springs Press added to it. So I appreciate that, and I had a difficult time finding AMERICAN COURT SYSTEMS. So I'm buying enough copies for a five-person class.

Faith Full Circle is a nonfictional autobiography of a man in search of his identity, beliefs and values. It describes his early childhood experiences, his family relationships, parental expectations and his educational experiences. It includes the religious training and experiences in a fundamentalist protestant denomination and the values he was introduced to as he participated in various activities.
Ifakorede Awoyefa, the author of this saga describes his search for meaning, direction and purpose of his life. He explored African religions and cultures in an attempt to discover himself. He discusses his triumphs and defeats and the lessons he learned in interpersonal marital relations as well as in career and professional endeavors. Trying to incorporate the values and beliefs to acquire wisdom and knowledge and mesh them with his beliefs was a challenging experience that brought him "full circle" in his faith.

Shopping was great. Only hooker in the deal was that there seems to be a delay in notification of shipping and tracking inducing a bit of angst for a relatively new user.

Quick and easy used ISBN, found book right away. All books should be supplied with a tracking number since they go through the USPS. I'm hoping I get one so I know when it's coming.
It's my first choice when looking for used books. Prices are usually reasonable.

I thought if I ordered all books from Alibris. Itself it would lower the postage for each book. Would be lower since your paying more for each book. Wasn't worth it. Must be a way to lower shipping cost even though books are all over the country. The thing I hate the most is every book. Order or package, should have a tracking number. The post office gives tracking numbers we can track online. It's important to know at least what day something coming So we can watch out for the item.

Great. The website interface is clean, clear, and easy to navigate. The check out is nice since shipping costs and applicable taxes are clearly shown.
The same reason why I will ALWAYS check Alibris, because I refuse to do business with Amazon or any business that is owned by Amazon. I prefer to support independent businesses and try to find ways to help family-owned and locally-owned businesses. Plus, I think Jeff Bezos is rich enough, and I’d like to find ways to spread the wealth around.

Easy to search for books I want, reliable shipping

Overall I am quite pleased with the shopping experience at Alibris. And I have noticed over a period of years that the overall shipping experience and efficiency has generally improved at Alibris from what it used to be, even though there is still room for improvement especially relative to Amazon's superb shipping and delivery systems. I wish that Alibris had some type of offer for free shipping for Canadian residents as exists for USA residents (Super Saver Truck - orders over $39).
Even though my shipping destination was set to Canada, the website was giving me messages encouraging me to add additional items to my order to qualify for free shipping, but neglected to inform me that this offer is only open to USA residents until I inspected the offer more closely. Perhaps this website quirk could be resolved to avoid any future confusion.
I would suggest that a similar offer could be established for residents outside of the USA. Even if the threshold was higher than $39, like perhaps $70 USD, it would still be an incentive to order additional books / items from Alibris in order to qualify for free shipping. Thank you.
Overall I was happy with past orders placed. The item being sought for was a relatively rare hard-to-find specialized niche book, and Alibris seems to be a good source for finding such books. Also, I like to support Alibris over Amazon or eBay when possible, when prices and shipping are comprible, even if they happen to be modestly more through Alibris.

Overall a positive shopping experience. I wish shipping charges were not so high, especially from the USA to Canada. I almost ordered on Amazon instead because of the high shipping charges.
Great selection, especially for hard-to-find book titles. And, I like to support Alibris over Amazon or eBay whenever possible because of those companies' immoral stands and non-neutrality on a number of political issues.
