It was quick and easy to find the books I wanted and to arrange for delivery. Alibris has many books that I want. It's great to shop for good used books too.

I have been glad to find books for which I have been looking. The only dilemma is that the shipping/handling fee is expensive compared with other sellers.

It was good, but I had trouble finding the J. D. Robb books. I kept getting collections, which is not what I wanted, but I eventually found the 2 books I was looking for.
I almost always buy my books from Alibris.

Shipping costs way too high. Original order was 23 books, shipping was more than cost of books. Found most of my order at other online book vendors, all at a lower cost including shipping

I had my order ready and it would not let use the easy checkout method. I had to get a new password thus loosing my order. Had to go through a new order of all I had already typed in.

When it asked me to mark the boxes were it was a bus, it did not give me the option to press enter or continue. I sign as a guest and it works. ( I am not a robot)

Good price on a book I wanted

I found the book I was looking to purchase, as it is not available in an electronic reader-format. I put the book in my e-cart, made my purchase, and I'm pleased with the process.
Because the item I purchased is not available on the kindle e-reader and even though I love physical copies of books, I buy e-reader compatible books when possible now to save space in my home.

I love this website. Only one book I ordered didn't't say where it ships from but, other than that I love this website. I've ordered from here twice and only once did I get a terribly damaged book.
This website is reliable and has a lot of options.

I wanted to use the PayPal option, but because my credit card on file had expired, I had to enter the info for the new credit card -- all the other times, the system crashed when I tried to use PayPal.
Reliability & cost: Alibris is one of the three sites I've been using since the late '90s for books.

I find shipping to be extremely high. I was going to order 9 books, but the shipping costs prevented me. I even ordered from one source to try to influence the shipping, but it did nothing.

No longer use my Hotmail address or have access to it. Why can't I be informed of my order tracking via my mobile phone. I was given no option to track via my mobile.

Having there be a $5 discount advertised for email signup, but it's only after you sign up that you find out it's for a purchase of $50 or more. Just kind of slimy.
The books I wanted are here and I don't like Amazon.

Three times in a row I accidentally ordered books to a gift address and had to ask my friend to hold my books for me. Easy mistake to make and nearly impossible to fix.

The description didn't mention the the size of the book was small. The book was not am average size, print was small and even with excellent new readers I wasn't able to read it.
I needed to return my book. I started the process but at the time I was unable to print my lables & return slip. When I went back I wasn't able to find them. Customer service helped me very quick and easy.
The price was great and the customer reviews were excellent.

I wanted two copies of the book from the same vendor. One for me and one as a gift. I was forced to buy one book from two vendors and pay double shipping costs.
You are not Amazon and as far as I know you don't discriminate politically.

It was easy to find what I was looking for. I was able to look at a list of sellers without clicking any further and found a book in the condition I wanted.
I love your support of small bookstores. I can't always make it to buy a book in-person or the local bookstore may not have what I want in stock so this is a great way to shop and support small businesses!
