It was a quick transaction however it did slow down somewhat when I was checking out as a member and I kept getting a message that I was a guest. It finally worked out.
Ordered several books at a lower price that other bookstore websites.

I ordered a book through alibris last year and it never arrived, it was in the middle of post office problems and during the covid spike so I figured I would let it go and try them again later, later. Later I made another order for a book that never arrived but the book seller set me another copy. In October and November I made some orders, andthe book arrived but in december, 2 cds I wanted sent to the UK as a gift got sent to an address in USA and another book that I ordered as a gift was sent to the recipient but another copy of the same book that I did not order was sent to me so I was charged for 2 books even though I only ordered 1 book. I wanted to avoid amazon so I was looking for an alternative but I have not gotten any response from alibris so from now on, I think the best option is to work with a local book store and order it though them (and you don't have to pay for postage that way)

The emails are clickbait. "$15 off" and "$15 off of $120" are NOT the same thing. And it does not make sense for the shipping to cost the same price as the books.

After I placed a book in my shopping cart, I logged in to my account. Suddenly my shopping cart was empty and the book was no longer available. I had to purchase a more expensive copy.

I found a book and then signed in after. It did not leave the book in my shopping cart, and then when I was signed in it was not available again until the next day. Otherwise the experience was easy!
It had the book I wanted at a good price.

My cart was full and I was ready to check out, I signed in and my cart was empty. If someone has items in their cart they should be able to sign in and not get their cart emptied.
It was cheaper then thriftbooks.

Received a coupon code for signing up - did not receive the memo that it was only good on orders over $50, so that was misleading. HOWEVER, the books I needed were in stock at a fair price.

When I search for copies by location, it seems to default to Texas for some reason. I would like it to be easier to find copies close to me for the lowest prices.

All was fine except when I ordered the book. The screen went white. When I got the screen back, I had to re-enter my card info. That was not appreciated.

I like how simple it is to shop for books on your site. If I continue to get good service, I will continue to use this site for books that I enjoy reading.

Found the book I was looking for, I could not remember the title or the author and found it with ease. Could not find it anywhere else. (not even on Amazon)

Thought I had to cancel the book so I made the request and it was quickly cancelled. Then, I realized I had to have the book and just placed the order again.

The check out process was not seamless. There was an "error" with billing address yet every time I updated it I was circled back to update it again and again and again.
