For two items I substituted 4.49 shipping. For one item I still saw 7.99 for shipping. $4.49 for shipping is already outrageous. I certainly won't pay more than that!

Generally good. But I hate it when I seller says "Good," but doesn't give any details. Also, shipping costs are quite high. There should be a reduced price for bulk purchases -- even though the books are sent from separate places. --T

I've had very good luck with the quality of books I've received in previous orders. It's easy to find what I'm looking for and the availability, even of obscure titles, is amazing.
I refuse to buy from Amazon-owed platforms, so Alibris is my go-to for used books. Would I love to buy only new books from my local independent bookseller? Of course. But there are many items I can't get from them and I can't always afford to buy new, so Alibris has become a regular part of my book-buying habits.
