The shipping rates on 8 books were 3 times the cost of the books, so I deleted all but three of them. I probably will not be back here.
I've found many, many books here in the past; I have sent at least 4 boxes of books to my grandchildren and the children of friends from alibris but the shipping prices are so high now, that I have to go to Amazon from now on. I don't want to but I cannot pay 3x the shipping price.

I usually find a book I want here in good condition but with MUCH lower price than the brand new ones at Amazon.
The book I bought for 10.77 today was over $40.00 on Amazon.

I found the book I was looking for, that was not listed on ABE. Alibris is now at the top of my list for used books.
Because I couldn't find Eliz. Hardwick" "The Simple Truth" on ABE or Amazon.

Found a book I had been searching for at a reasonable price. We will see how the condition of the book is when I receive it.
Looking for this book at a price point I could justify rather than accessing an online library for the parts of the book that I was mostly interested in. This source was the only source of this point that made me weigh having the whole book or paying an online educational library for only the parts I was mostly critically interested in at the present time.
